La'gent Hotel Okinawa Chatan Hotel and Hostel

I cannot say as I didn’t stay at the hotel!

I checked out of my reservation immediately after checking in. I booked this for my daughter 16th birthday. Had no idea it was sharing a room with other people.

Room's were clean, hotel is near American Village, Bathroom is pretty large!

Well equipped and spacy room, large bathroom (considering Japanese standards), excellent location, easy parking.

All good.

The location, cleanliness and staff are accomodating

The room can get really hot in the summer and the air-conditioning could not keep up

Location is very central. Good value with breakfast. The tuk tuk service was appreciated.

Wifi was terrible. We were on the 5th floor, room 510. We could not get out devices to connect most of the time. When they did connect, the signal was so weak. We told the front desk on our first day there. He said he'd look into it, but nothing was done. Needs improvement!

Great location, great staff, clean, nice lobby and a designated lounge for hostel guests. They have a bus stop outside for a bus that goes to the airport, and they helped me buy a ticket for only 900 yen. Short walk to convenience store and American Village. One free ice pop per night.

It was very hard for me to get up and down the steps to the upper bunk in the dorm, especially when I had something in my hands. I think it’s the shape of the stairs. Also, the upper bunk was extremely hot at night, so I was sweating. I asked the staff for assistance at around 4AM, and they gave me a circulator fan. Because of this, I would prefer to stay in a private room next time.I also think the curtains by the showers need a cleaning.

Really great property and hostel! Right by American Village so you have a lot of food and shopping spots although if you’re staying in the hostel you may not have enough space for shopping but otherwise amazing place!! Clean, friendly, and lots of amenities! Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very close to the American Village so it's very easy to grab some dinner or morning coffee. There're convenience store nearby (next to the American Village). You can also see the F35 plane in the morning. My husband loves that.

We didn't notice that parking lot was not free. We paid 550 JPY for the on-site parking. The price is quite high (highest above all 3 hotels we stayed during our Okinawa trip).

Centrally located near Chatan and Sunabe. Larger than average size Japanese hotel rooms. Quite stay and relaxing

One of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Highly recommend for the solo traveler that wants a quiet place with great location. Towels and pajamas everyday

Only downside is that it isn’t a social hostel. The common area in itself is very quiet. Not much socializing. But American village is 10mins away so, not to worry

Great hostel, the quality of the facilities is just incredible, good location in the american village.You get a locker in the space of your bed, good WiFi, towels included.They also have a parking space if you come with a car.

Not the first time staying ! Definitely recommend All staff are very kind, great location, provided with everything needed.

The staffs are the best, SUPERB ACCOMMODATING❤️ When my kid vomitted on the bed. I’d call the FRONT DESK AND ASK FOR EXTRA BED SHEETS, they easily gave it! Superb wow!

Location and room size.

Close to beach, shops, restaurants.

The convenience of the place, the beach,restaurants,transportation is all surrounding the hotel.Ameican village is afew minutes walk from the hotel.The airport public bus has a stop outside the hotel. I like the way they describe it as the hotel with a bus stop outside. One can choose from staying in the main hotel with family or at the dorm if you are a solo traveler, either ways,you are under one roof.Cleanliness is topnotch,their is housekeeping daily even in the dorms, fresh towels,amenities are available too.Beakfast is available for main hotel members but affordable but for dorm members you have to pay an extra fee,which is fare priced.As a hotelier who knows more about food,services and I experience it everyday, I prefer the outside worldly.But if I recommend everything if you're a solo traveler. I enjoyed my stay and would go back again.Thanks Booking.com and La'gent hotel for the hospitality.

The bathroom floor was clean but the shower curtains had mould.As a shared bathroom, cleanliness should be topnotch.

The room was clean, everything inside the room was so tidy and compact. The location is near the American Village, easy walk. There is a car rental nearby, as well. The parking fee in the hotel is a bit higher than other parking areas nearby, staff asks you when you check in. 10m walk from the bus station if you come to the city by bus.

we booked for a couple but it came up with 2 single beds, which is a bit inconvenient for us.

Excellent restroom and bathroom areas. The tatami room was very relaxing.

Breakfast was a little expensive, so I walked down the street to the coffee shop.

Great hotel, welcome ice cream at check-in, lots of parking options around, within walking distance to all attractions around, tuk-tuk taxi for free. Nice view from the room, air condition and "dryer" on the balcony.

A bit on the pricier side for us, but doable for 1-2 nights.
