- We loved how accomodating and nice the staff were they were always making sure the space/ our room was tidy and neat and provided us with fresh linen, towels and robes daily. They cooked us meals and treated us like family! The location is beautiful right on the lake with amazing sunrises and sunsets and just a short 10 minuet walk to the station or a 15 minuet walk to 711. We honestly can’t fault anything about this property and can’t wait to stay again!

- No restaurant around, nearest mart was about 15 minutes walk and the road was quite scary at night.
- Few options for eating out nearby, as summer season over. Convenience store 15-20 minutes walk
- Price of the accomodation was pricey for a shared bath place and only sandwiches and a drink for breakfast. Other places we stayed in were much better in terms of price and location and facilities.

The house is beautiful and set close to Biwa Lake.I really enjoyed my night on traditional Tatami and Futon. The stuff is amazing! They are super friendly and we laughed a lot together as my new Nakama :)I definitely will come again!!!!!

The property was right on the lakeside with a beautiful view and close to the train station
The tatami under the futons were very hard which made the futon unpleasant to sleep on. Staff didn’t speak English and were overly attentive to the point where it felt uncomfortable to go downstairs to the communal kitchen area.

breakfast is not a breakfast at all: you cannot name a take away sandwich and a packaged juice per guest as breakfast.boring evenings at Omi-Maiko beach. every store and restaurant closes at 6 pm.
