AVS Imperiaa Hotel - Karaikal

Food poisoning. The buffet at Oasis restaurant gave us severe food poisoning on October 29th lunchtime. We had a long car trip after that towards Chidambaram and threw up around 6 times. We couldn?t eat or drink anything until the next day.

Everything, room had no AC, no proper room service, restaurant at hotel was so boring and not good at all. Everyday breakfast buffet was okaish

The breakfast is good. Location is great. The restaurants are good. The property itself is quite fancy and nice in the area.

There was a musty smell in the room from windows not being opened. Possible mold & when AC was turned on the smell took over the room. We had to sleep in that, which was not very comfortable. It really is a nice property, just needs to be looked after well.

Hotel is good. Rooms are neat and clean. Restaurant offers variety of dishes and the food is good. There is a separate swimming pool for adults and kids. Pool is neatly maintained.

They charged me Rs 1000/- extra than my booking at Booking.com. They said, the amount shown in Booking.com does not include their Commission. This has never happened to me till date. Nowhere i have paid more than the booked value. They made me pay that extra amount. Since there were no other hotels available nearby and we were with family, we had to pay and take the room.Secondly, though the food was good, it was too overpriced.

Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the spread

Table arrangement could have been better. We sat in a table that did not have cutlery

The room was spacious, clean.Staff were polite. Restaurant food was fresh, good and service was awesome.

Extra bed was rs.1000, but booking.com said rs 500 per night for an extra bed. It'll be good if the details are accurate.

AVS imperia is a total show with no actual benefit, rooms pipe will leak, switches won't work, staff hide things and cheat you at the end. Total waste.

Located somewhere around the end of the karaikal; No public transport nearby.

Although the advert was for a bar fridge, we had to request for one. After pointing out that we are staying for six nights then only manager provided a bar fridge

I ordered dinner at 10:45 PM and called to check on 11:30PM they did not even start to prepare. They were asking sir did you order in swiggy! This was mainly because of faulty telephone in room. Finally got the food at 11:50 Pm. Except that all was fanstastic.

Bedsheets were having stains and towels were smelling badly and not worth of money they are taking

One of a kind hotel in Karaikal in close proximity to Saturn temple. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The air conditioning was good and the room was quiet. The bathroom was clean with hot water for an early am shower. The North Indian dishes were good.

01. The breakfast was average where many selections were unavailable. 2. The South Indian thali also has to be improved in taste. 3. TV screens blaring in the restaurant and bar will annoy a few people.

Swimming Pool timing is very hard. Guest on vacation may need anytime access to swimming pool...Restaurant coffee and Tea was horrible.

Staff were great. The hotel was kept clean. A/C in the rooms were top notch.

There needs to be a/c outside the rooms too. The hotel outside the rooms was humid. Bathroom shower needs a door so water doesn’t come out. Better toilet paper and towels would be nice.

Manager was discourteous. Not accomodating. Unprofessional behaviour.
