    Pros +

    • Loved the setting of the hotel - it felt like you were in a tropical paradise. The room was really spacious as was the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and although the hotel is on a busy street, it was peaceful at night. Good choice of breakfast options with freshly made omelettes. Enjoyed the small air conditioned gym, which has a good stack of dumbbells and a bench along with a couple of treadmills. We also got free transfers to and from the airport. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer hotel to spend our week in Phu Quoc. It was only a 5 min walk to the beach too.
    • The pool & the village vibes
    • We stayed one night at M Village during our trip to Phu Quoc. The stay was short, but we left satisfied.TRANG, GIANG, and THINH stood out for their kindness. From check-in to check-out, they were courteous and quick to help. Their care made the stay comfortable. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. Service across the property was consistent and efficient. We would gladly return.

    Cons -

    • Nothing!
    • Paperwork problems, other guests smoking on the premise and the staff doing nothing about it despite a strict ban policy from the resort
    • Animals inside room. Gecko, centipede, ants and flies.

The resort is very unique and feels very tropical unlike other resorts on the island which feel like they could be anywhere else in the world. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. Pool and bar were great for relaxing.

    * nice interior/exterior. stylish looking hotel* rather cheap price* welcome drink upon arrival* nice pool* good location* friendly staff* good vietnamese massage

    * the bathroom drain is poorly built. it starts to flood quickly and the floor doesn't dry quickly* the rooms let sound through. It's not pleasant to hear someone in the next room being sick and vomiting* there is nowhere to put towels to dry, there could be a rack or something * too few clothes hangers in the room* there were ants in the bathroom that came from between the broken stone slab* breakfast could be more varied. didn't like that they offered raw mango, when at the same time you could buy very tasty ready-made mango in the store* some of the hotel employees were sick - they were coughing. uncomfortable when you go for a massage and the masseuse is coughing at the same time* if you drink a cocktail in the evening, some music could also be played in the background in the restaurant. too quiet and boring* there are few chairs by the pool, all the hotel guests can't fit in * it's not directly a problem of the hotel, but we saw rats running around by the pool, there was a gecko in our hotel room and one night a cockroach. this is probably something to take into account when choosing a hotel in such a location

Free transfer from the airport in a nice car. The staff were friendly and helpful as ever. Rooms were clean and food was great. All the help and services from one place. Location was great. Very cosy and stylish. Highly recommended!

    Bad

I do not recommend! At first glance, it may seem like a beautiful resort, but there is mold, mustiness and imperfectly cleaned rooms everywhere. I also saw rats in the resort at night. The cleaning ladies do not even bother to greet you. First, children's shorts were lost in our room, and then a perfume worth $170. The attitude of the hotel management was terrible, the manager's solution was to ask the cleaning ladies and they said they had not seen anything, logically, so I am unlucky. We travel all over the world and this has never happened to us, I had to lock my luggage and hide everything until the end of my stay, which is very unpleasant. For me, this behavior is unacceptable.

Location was perfect . Lovely pool side room that was spacious and kept so clean . Pool was lovely , shaded with coconut trees although during our stay there always seemed to be a scramble for the sunbeds ..This didn't detract from our stay , it was absolute heaven after 17days travelling down the coast visiting various places including Cambodia .what a fabulous way to end our travels 6 days at MVillage !

The only downside for us was the breakfast choice . Now whilst I am aware it was suitable for probably most people , out of all the hotels we had stayed in during our travels ( 7 in all ) , I have to say , it was the poorest regarding choices available . But having said that , the hotel as a whole , was fantastic .

Very nice settings, lovely gardens:) the pool well maintained, but not easy to get in and out, no hand rail. Beach opposite hotel is sadly a mess, need to hire grab to visit nicer beaches.

Our room was advertised, a twin "house" garden view... Just a room, Grey floors, Grey curtains, Grey tiles, plain white walls. Smelt mouldy, no garden view, except Grey wall of next room. One vase with dirty grasses for decor.. very miserable ? Really need to make an effort!

Beautiful room and comfiest bed we have had in Vietnam! Breakfast was quite nice. We didn’t spend much time by the pool as there were a lot of kids and wasn’t really our vibe, but a quick walk to the beach which was beautiful.

On one of the nights we returned from the beach to find the water heater in the room leaking (quite heavily) of water all over the bathroom. We called reception and they said they would send someone but it took almost an hour (and two more phone calls) until someone came. This meant we couldn’t shower and we were late for dinner reservations. It turned out they had to go buy a new water heater. However I think if it had been communicated what was happening then we would have had an idea. Instead we were just left in the room with the noise of water leaking not sure when someone was coming. Also, we only discovered the gym on the last day. Would have been nice if this was communicated at check in or in the welcome book in the room.

Layout of villas was good, resort pool excellent for kids, villa good size, lovely setting for breakfast

Very musty smell in villa, average choice at breakfast

    8VeronikaPosted on: 1-25-2025

The location was great. It was near many restaurants and a 10min walk from the King Kong supermarket. The bed was very comfy. They provide beach towels which you can take to the beach with you, which is nice. I just had to sign up. It has 2 swimming pools on the side I stayed at and all 6 days there was always space on loungers to tan and chill. The gym was small (and very HOT, AC doesn't work well there) but ok to do some weights and had one treadmill. The gym also provided bottled water and a towel.

The toilet and shower have no separation. So when you take a shower your whole bathroom is flooded.Breakfast was good but pretty small and also it got very repetitive. The walls are very thin. You can hear the neighbors next door, so bring earplugs. Also dogs were barking loudly outside of hotel territory at night, so earplugs are needed. I imagined my room would be bigger from the pictures. Didn't have any seating area inside the room except for the table and 1 chair. (Booked tropical garden room )

Wonderful property, great location. Staff were highly accommodating. Room was spacious and as pictured. Breakfast was exceptional.

It's an island, so you have to expect a few bugs. That being said, housekeeping left a bug covered glass in my room for two days. In thier defense, it was US NYE weekend so they were probably super busy. But I would have preferred they take the glass. I'd still stay there in a heartbeat again though. It was otherwise a flawless stay.

Efficient staff, very good first impression. Nice and relaxing pool areas.

Cozy room was not very clean or private. If you don’t keep the curtains closed, everyone walking by can see both bathroom and bedroom. This means you have no daylight if you want privacy. We got sick and ended up spending a lot of time in our room. There was mold in the ceiling, when we told the staff they put lemon oil in the AC to hide the smell. Super intense and off putting smell that obviously didn’t solve the problem. Tv and fridge was broken, they fixed tv. The breakfast was very close to the main road.

    10BelindaPosted on: 1-3-2025

The resort was even very quiet even although it is based on a main road. Having access to several pools was fantastic, Enjoyed the lovely breakfast each day

    1DarjaPosted on: 12-29-2024

Breakfast was quite good, green surroundings

Very unclean room. There is a window in the toilet that connects two rooms , we felt like we are sharing the room with some foreign couple , we heard every word they said and each activity . The hotel is very overpriced , the service was very basic , it is not a resort.

    10FreyaPosted on: 12-28-2024

Beautiful setting, lovely pools and rooms. The breakfast was nice, with lots of options and fresh eggs. The Christmas gala dinner was good, the staff made every effort to ensure you had everything you wanted and had a good evening, lots of choice of food, the BBQ was especially delicious and they even roasted a turkey and some potatoes! Very close to the beach and plenty of other restaurants.

Only tiny but the playlist by the pool was very short and so was repeated too many times in a day, let alone if you were by the same pool for a few days.

    8KatherinePosted on: 12-12-2024

Fantastic resort, very clean, attentive and helpful staff.

Proximity to Road and subsequent noise took away from What Would otherwise be very resort like Feel.If you Can get a room up by the pool/M Villa rather Than close to reception it is probably better.

I spent around two weeks in a village during my stay in Phu Quoc, and overall, it was a nice experience. However, there are a couple of areas that could be significantly improved:Food:The breakfast options were plentiful at first, with a lot of variety to choose from. However, after a few days, the selection became repetitive. While there were some small changes in the dishes, by the end of my stay, it became a bit of a struggle to enjoy meals, and it would have been nice to have more variety or a rotating menu.Cleanliness of rooms and general hygiene:While the cleaning service was provided daily, it felt very superficial. The towels were changed every day, but at times I didn't receive a new one and had to request it. The most concerning issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower floor and drain had visible mold and fungus spots, which was quite off-putting. This significantly impacted the comfort of the room, and I think the overall cleaning standards could be greatly improved.Despite these issues, I would still recommend the place for its location and friendly staff. However, given the cleanliness concerns, I would likely choose a different place if I were to return
