Great experience, clean hotel rooms, pool and beach. The morning breakfast was amazing❤️It’s really easy to move using the shuttle buses.

Reason of choosing here: Their free shuttle ( PAID SO MUCH ITS CONSIDERED INCLUDED, but, return shuttle arrangement was terrible enough to cause me migraine and fever after returning from here, way too stressful ) and their breakfast inclusion (Buffet: Western platters, Japan (sushi...), Korea (stone rice), Pastries (cupcakes, breads, cereals, basic sauces), Eggs, Bacon, Fried potatoes, Pho station at corner, Drink:: 3 coffee machines and one coffee station you can adjust your own but NO big cup available at visible stations but some Westerners managed to find one to use and added ice. I tried to find one because I wanted a medium iced coffee myself but BAM tables only got short cups) , Block A is quiet and lucky no culture of racing motors yet on this island so it was quiet, altho loud Asian passing by your door front is noticeable but it is based on your luck.

[Knowledge on their service] -*important* Already informed we need a return shuttle service, got a paper written 10:35 am will depart from hotel, asked to wait since 10am, we did wait since 10am, even moved to outdoor porch because worried you guys cant see us. BAM. 1044am already. We thought its due to JAM, we waited. Still no bus. Asked the only bell boy can speak in basic English - got scolded for not calling (??) them I wish it is this miscommunication? Why we need to call AGAIN for this service? This instruction is not written on the paper??? The paper notified us when to wait only. Then we got informed the bus is 10km away. Asked us to book grab ourselves :: “ It is so cheap” , nearly total RM 80 and I paid nearly RM 1.2K already for this hotel that I chosen because inclusive of the shuttle service! If it is a 3-4 stars and like this, perhaps I wont be as depressed. No money return also! The only 5 stars experience here is we got assumed we are filthy rich that doesn’t see the price tag because “ Its so cheap!”. Do you know RM 80 can feed us 2 days in Malaysia and sincerely that’s offensive – I booked this majority due to the shuttle service. If you are unable to arrange it or unwilling to, just remove this and charge people. You are basically scamming people for false advertising. Plus, bell boy took away the paper we got, else I am showing it. Language ::Front counter staff:: Only 1/5 of them is able to carry full English conversation (very basic but clear enough) [ the one we met thru calling for dinner ] || Majority are not able to carry full English conversation, switch to basic English is also hard to understand them or us, we are Malaysians and totally understand slang issues but staffs are not opening up themselves to communicate with us and letting us solve puzzles ourselves more. || Bell boy:: Only one bell boy able to carry basic English conversation and remaining boys are smiley smiley not sure their purpose of *continue on attachment*

We stayed at Wyndham Grand Hotel again as a family, this was our second time, and overall we had a pleasant experience. The service was nice, and the staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the airport drop-off service, which was excellent and made everything smooth and stress-free.

The toilet cleaning wasn’t good, there was an unpleasant smell, which was disappointing. Also, the pool was quite crowded, so it didn’t feel as relaxing as we hoped. Another inconvenience was the “towel system” at the pool and beach, towels are provided only through the hotel door card, which felt uncomfortable and not very convenient.

The hotel was very nice, kept clean and the location was near to the Grandworld

Everything about this resort is wrong:- Check in: at check in, staff advised our room was occupied. She told me to wait, took over 30 minutes to find a new room. This new room was most likely the worst room you could get in this resort. Right in front of all the elevators, balcony door gives to the side windows where everyone in the common areas can get a direct view into the room, we had to leep curtains shut at all times.- cleanliness: room is dirty. We even had dirty coffee mugs, stain visible and dust from the previous customers.- housekeeping: they come at very odd hours, at around 4-5pm when you’re relaxing in your room. - Buffet: below average, always the same food every day, not enough coffee machine (takes over 15 minutes to get a coffee)- restaurants: super overpriced for below average food. Some plates are actually picked up from the buffet. You can actually see the waiters come back from the buffet. And you actually pay overprice for the buffet plates. Bread are super dry.- pool and beach: super crowded and dirty. That are only a few bad things that come in mind.

The Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc has some excellent positives, particularly when it comes to facilities. The resort is very modern, the pool is huge and impressive, and there are pool-based activities that will appeal to families. The rooms themselves are beautiful, well-appointed, and visually what you’d expect from a 5-star resort.

Our experience was let down significantly by service, communication, and some important limitations for families with younger children.As Australians, we found the language barrier challenging. Very few staff spoke English, and the resort appeared to cater primarily to Russian, Kazakhstani, and other non–English-speaking guests. This made even simple requests unnecessarily difficult.We booked a deluxe room for four people (two adults, children aged 5 and 7). Our booking confirmation stated there was a “sofa bed”, which reasonably implies a fold-out or suitable sleeping arrangement. On arrival, there was only one king-size bed, with no usable sofa bed at all.When we raised this with reception, the response was extremely unhelpful. We were told we would need to pay an exorbitant fee for a rollaway bed, which we felt was unreasonable given the booking details. We were then told there were no rollaway beds available anyway. When we asked for sheets to place over the couch cushions so one child could sleep there, we were initially told there were no sheets available. It took escalating the issue to a manager just to receive basic bedding.Important information for parents:While the resort markets itself as family-friendly, there are very strict height restrictions that significantly limit what younger kids can actually do.•The water slide has a strict minimum height of 140cm, which many children under 9–10 years old will not meet.•The kids’ club also enforces strict height rules, including on the ninja-style course. Even our tall, athletic 7-year-old was not allowed to participate, which was very disappointing.

The hotel provide a shuttle bus from and to airport which is very convenient, the location near with all the tourist attractions and beach is walkable or the hotel will arrange buggy for us.

Check in process took too long, most of the front officer cannot really communicate in English, requested for iron however they failed to provide at all and no follow up call to check if we receive or not the iron. They do not replace our towel although we had requested to clean up the room.

Location was great in this part of Phu Quoc - Hotel was near enough to VinWonders, VinSafari and Grand World so visiting the sights were quick and fuss free. Abundance of grab cabs around the area. Beds were comfortable and the staff were all very helpful in all regards.

Hotel was very big and had many guests. Breakfast spread was great but experience was chaotic due to the number of guests. Check-in took forever as they did not seem to have a queuing system.

Everything was good. Childrens facilities were excellent. They catered to vegetarians for breakfast which was fantasticI highly recommend this place to anyone with families. The safari and Theme park were a 10 min bus ride ( free shuttle from the hotel).

It’s clean, nice and comfortable. Friendly staff. Kids club was great! Food can be better. Lots of choice of food but Asian food is not very tasty. But western breakfast is just ok. Otherwise overall ok.

We didn’t like the music was way too loud in the swimming pool when they had bubble foam party at kiddy pool. It was like old night club music with DJ. Very uncomfortable with little babies that really no need for kids pool party just very uncomfortable.

I had an amazing experience at the Wyndham Grand Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered a stunning view. I especially loved the comfortable bed and high-quality amenities that made my stay feel truly luxurious.What impressed me most was the attention to detail and how the team went above and beyond to make guests feel special. They even surprised my friend with a lovely birthday cake in our room, which was such a thoughtful gesture.

Everything was great about this property. We had booked the two BHK Villa the Villa was sparkling clean. Just there was a list of kitchen utensils and we have to ask for each one of them apart from that everything was up to the Mark. The housekeeping was lovely. it was very near to win, wonders win, and everything and even even provided the shuttle for the same, and even the shuttle for the airports are available on a fixed schedule would give this Property of five stars. It’s a must visit with friends and families and also the water park in the property. The pool and the slides were amazing.

Good location, water slides are great for kids but u have to be over 140 cm or they make you sign a waiver which you have to negotiate from reception. The hotel was very clean & rooms were comfortable.

Food was not of a good standard and catered mostly to Chinese, Korean & Russian clientele. All the staff assumed I was Russian and kept trying to communicate with me in Russian. I speak only English and I am from Europe. It doesn’t make you feel very welcome when the reception, wait staff and shop staff assume your nationality just because I have white skin.We really struggled with the food and ate out of the hotel as much as possible as it was so bad. It’s geared toward large tour groups and the main restaurant only offers buffet meals. The other outlets in the hotel have a basic snack menu with inedible food and the other main restaurant is Italian. Who wants to eat Italian every night in Vietnam? Not me.
