Mango Beach Resort

First, the friendliness and the availability of the whole staff, including the cleaning crew. Second, the location and the setup of the resort, away from everything and self-sustained. Tours and other activities are readily available for those who don't want to chill "away from everything". And third, the food is excellent, especially their "secret" Mango Rice :-)

No real beach, unfortunately. The shore is made of rocks. They do have their own lagoon but that doesn't make up for a real sandy beach. The pool is great and is the only real alternative to a dip in the ocean.

We liked this resort very much. Very secluded area, especially to rest after traveling. Food was good, reasonable portions and the price compared to other places. The reception personnel were great! Harry and Nancy very knowledgeable about the island, they always gave us good suggestions. We highly recommend this resort.

well breakfast started out being served and then switched to self serve buffet with less options and it seemed more busy at breakfast...my daughter and I both personally preferred being served breakfast of the menu

Everything was amazing. The grounds, the pool, the beach area, the staff was very friendly and went above and beyond (especially Harry) and the food was really good.Absolutely Nothing to complain about. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location is fine if you want to get away for 1-2 days, (maximum) , unless you have your own wheels!Some dinner offerings were very tasty.

The name Beach Resort is misleading. There is NO beach, at or nearby! You can paddle in a man-made lagoon. The swimming pool smelly & overchlorinated. The noise of the children, when present, was unbearable.The Spa means 2 massage tables outdoors near the pool. As other guests have mentioned, the location is very far from the main town, any activities & beaches, so transport was a challenge & expensive. The quality of breakfast, the same offerings every day was disappointing. We mostly liked the coffee (when it was hot or warm, i.e.) & the limited fruit.The staff attitude & language skills were uneven.

We had the best time during our holidays at Mango Beach Resort.The atmosphere and environment of this place are peaceful and inviting for chill vibes! The staff is amazing! They are always there to support us - special thanks to Luna and Harry, who with the team, made our stay extra special!The property restaurant is amazing! We had their garlic butter prawns almost every day, as they were so delicious!We couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Bathroom could be updated

We were looking for a peaceful and quiet resort to spend a few days and this place was perfect! Good breakfast and a surprising large dinner menu. The location is tucked away from all the noise of Vietnam . We would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, lovely rooms.

Karoke played on the bay, all, day, long. We tried to relax by the pool but we had to leave as it was really very loud, I know it’s Vietnam and I’ve lived here for three years but it really was hard to listen to. The hotel is on the other side of the island, we purposely stayed here as we where going to Rory’s beach bar for Christmas Day and it was very handy!

Quiet location, not commercial, more wild, less cultivated. The poolwas ok, we saw some huge butterflies, heard sounds of nature like in a jungle. All in allI was quite happy to have been there to see the other more wild side of the island.

As it’s located on a slope there are stairs everywhere but they need renovation. Difficult to climb or walk down. There are fishermen’s villages on both sides of the hotel and they produce all sorts of waste so you cannot bathe in the sea. There is no direct access to the sea, only a big natural pond with sea water. Not very inviting.

Our bungalow was beautiful and had a lovely view out over the pool and ocean. The food in the restaurant was really tasty and the pool was wonderful.

It's a little bit far away from other restaurants and bars and there is no beach to swim at. But it is very peaceful.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bed was huge! It was so tranquil, with just the sounds of the birds in the trees. The staff were so lovely and helpful, and the food was incredible. 10/10 value for money, thank you so much!

Superb value for money, has friendly staff, a lovely location, and a nice pool. The food menu is varied and reasonably priced, and the food quality is good. The saltwater lagoon is a nice touch, providing a safe environment to swim and kayak plus a little beach for those essential sand castles.

Actually everything, starting with great, peaceful location, including charming sounds of nature in the night (nothing to be afraid of but can be disturbing for light sleepers), ending with clean rooms, tasty food and helpful staff ;) Extra bonus is a small shop just across the street.

This is a fabulously comfortable place on lovely Phu Quoc island. The stand out star is Harry who in his impeccable English made us laugh and also everything so easy from teaching me to ride a scooter to telling us where to go. Very comfortable bungalows.

We would just like to eat slowly - starters then a main course - while we realise this might not be conventional in Vietnam, we did ask but all the food comes quickly and at once.

Great getaway for a few days to relax and do nothing. Location is very peaceful and guarantees you a great sleep and relaxtion. Very friendly and helpful staff that help with everything they can to make your vacation as comfortable as possible. Swimming pool is quite nice and clean.

Food is good but as long as you stay for no more than three days. After that it gets boring as there are no many options available and there are no nearby alternatives.When planning your stay keep in mind that this is the eastern side of the island and there's no beach at the resort. It is also quite far from all attractions and taxi may get quite expensive whether you want to go to the beach, VinPearl or VinWonders, etc. Once you are prepared and okay with this, you'll enjoy this place far away from noisy part of touristic Phu Quoc.

Definite 5 stars for the property. Aaron, Luna & Harry, thank you for being excellent host and make our stay memorable. Looking forward to visit soon.

We stayed here for 8 days and felt like home the moment we arrived. The hosts are so lovely, kind and funny. The rooms were big, clean and comfortable. We had a minibar and a air condition in the room. We also loved the bar above the sea and the separate „own“ part of the sea, like a lagoon, where we could go swimming in. We will stay here again, when we‘re coming back to Phu Quoc in the future :-)
