Real nice clean place. Very nice people and helpful

Too far away from everything in town. Having to climb all the steps every time going to restuarant or office.

So lovely to have a private cabana right on the beachfront, with large balcony. Room was cleaned daily, bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious, always lots of hot water. Isolated beach, with very few people other than patrons. Nice pool. Restaurant menu was large. If you are looking for a resort vacation, this resort is well set up to suit that.

A bit out of the way to large town area. An hour to get to hon thon cable car, and about 35 minutes to the airport. A negative that is not necessary the fault of the resort, but people saving loungers early in the morning to use them for an hour in the afternoon.

We had a one bedroom with private pool and we loved that. It was a gorgeous view overlooking the beach, and we were secluded enough to not worry about privacy. We had lunch and dinner at the resort a couple of times and our meals at Sunny and Sunset were excellent. The views from the restaurants were incredible. We even saw a monkey on our way to breakfast the last day! Resort staff were always friendly and helpful.

You had to get a grab/taxi to go to any store/restaurant that wasn't at the resort. I guess that was the downside of being in such a secluded location. Breakfast menu at Sunrise could have had a little more variety - it was the same items every day for 5 days.

Location was amazing, pool and beach. Breakfast was as very good.

Staff could have been more helpful in lunch restaurants. Food for lunch and dinner was average.

Insects are numerous and there is no way to prevent their entry, such as insecticides or electrocution devices.There are no means of transportation to the gate or inside the resort, such as bicycles.

Very private, quiet and close to the beach. Staff communicated clearly.

The locks for the front door and the washroom door didn't work. I risked keeping valuables in the room but fortunately with the gated security and the low number of people traffic I wasn't extremely worried about theft. However it was an unnecessary worry. Also, during breakfast I went for a coffee refill at 10:02 The staff was very stern that it was past 10, serving time. I understand but they could've said no with a smile.

Pool and bar close at 6pm. A very long walk to town but easy to get a grab if you download the app. I was charged extra when checking out for extra cleaning of face washers as they had makeup on them

We had a beautiful and lovely stay at Sea Sense Resort. The premises are beautiful and everything is very clean. Beautiful private beach at a beautiful place at the sea (it’s super warm amazing water!). Super nice swimming pool. Everything that you need of a resort. A bit out of the way but everything you need to just chill, they have. We were very happy and impressed with the food, both the included breakfast but also the meals offered at the restaurants of the resort, of course more expensive than Vietnam average but still we think very good quality-price. The gym is a plus, so you can sport during your stay! We absolutely loved our stay and felt in paradise ☺️

The only thing is that there doesn’t seem to be constant hot water. However, for us this wasn’t a problem, as it was so warm that we actually appreciated the cold water!

The location is nice - by the beach and surrounded by lovely, blooming nature. If you take a 10-15 min walk you get to shops, restaurants and bars. The room was nice and spacious. W liked the pool area, you can easily find free sunbeds by the pool and on the beach. Stuff speaks English.The breakfasts are ok with a lot of options to chose from.

I booked a seaview villa, but all we got was a glimpse of the sea between the villas in the first line. The bathroom could use better cleaning. Trash on the beach

The room we had was a sea view, large bed, very clean. The staff were really lovely.

It is a bit quiet, which it does say in the description, but for two nights we were the only ones in the restaurant, however, that didn’t stop the staff being very friendly and the food good.

The location and the set up is very nice. Child friendly beach and cozy beach front rooms. The breakfast was mostly good (salad was very dry and not fresh on our last morning). It’s a bit of a walk into town for restaurants and shops but we didn’t mind. I’d suggest bringing a stroller for young children.

The facilities need better maintenance and general daily cleaning. The pool has broken off and fallen off tiles - and the tiles were not cleaned out of the pool by the staff but rather by other guests. Even tiles put up on the side of the pool by guests were left there for days before the staff dealt with them. We skipped the pool entirely. Trash and dishes were not cleared properly. Empty beer bottles were put in a corner of the beach and empty coconuts with straws from the restaurant was left for days. The children’s playground had a plastic seesaw completely broken in half. They need better routines for cleaning and maintenance. The lunch times restaurant was slow and service was mostly not good.

Absolutely stunning hotel, room was huge with a balcony overlooking the sea. Beautiful beach and a pool. Breakfast was delicious with various options. This was a quieter area of Phu Quoc and it was perfect after spending time in HCMC. There are restaurants outside the hotel on the road, which are all pretty good. There is a hill to get out of the resort, but apparently there is another way to get there and avoid the hill through another hotel, but we didn’t try it. Grab (taxi) will take you to the night market which is worth a visit.

There was nothing I didn’t like, the staff were super helpful and overall it was a fantastic few days.

Picturesque part of the coast

Cleaning staff arrived at 4.10pm while my wife was in the shower. Refused to wait 10 mins and refused to come back later. Had to complain to front desk to get the situation resolved. Had to walk 300 MTRS for breakfast or a drink later in the day.TV and internet would not connect in the room.

We stayed for 10 days and absolutely loved it. Clean and big room, with a fantastic view. The tranquility and calmness of this place sorrounded by jungle is unreal - perfect if you want a relaxing getaway. Breakfast is great with a lot of variety, an extra thanks to the attentive staff. It is a short walking distance to good resturants with more affordable prices, we walked through the neighbour resort as mentioned in another review on booking.com. Beautiful beach and we also loved the pool area. The massage at the beach was amazing.Constructive: would be nice if the staff were more available at the beach/pool for ordering drinks. It would also be lovely with free supply of drinking water, but it is not far to shops. All in all a perfect stay. Would strongly recommend if you're looking for a place to unwind and relax. We had a beach front villa and couldn’t have been happier, nice clean beach great breakfast included and the food in the restaurant at night was fantastic.

Great Resort, private paradise , great and tasty breakfast, all staff kind and helpful. Everyone during our stay (9 days) was fabulous.

Loved everything, perfect place to end a while wind trip - beachfront Villa was excellent, comfy bed, good shower (I had no issues with hot water, the few times I actually wanted it hot) - ate most nights at the restaurant and food was decent and priced ok for a resort, hot tip though, right next door the Anacarine restaurant does an excellent tuna sandwich when you need a change - all staff where lovely Just be prepared for walking up stairs and hills to get anywhere ?

I stayed in the most expensive room they offered, which was the beachfront villa with its own pool.The room itself is amazing and exceeded my expectations. I have no issue with the room as it was spacious, comfortable, was private, had a great view and pool and was very good value for money.The reason for the low score was because there were multiple issues i raised in a feedback email to the manager when I checked out and he essentially came back and dismissed everything I said.In hindsight I should have taken photos or addressed them at the time, but I didn't think to do that, and didn't want to ruffle any feathers or have awkward encounters.The cons:- the breakfast was not fresh. Several foods were reheated from the day before. You can tell when food is not fresh or stored correctly. The chef never got the eggs right even though I kept trying different types (poached, fried and omelette). I ended up going to a cafe 20 minutes away for proper coffee and food and it was way better. The manager argued that i probably went later on in the morning but that was 1 time, and even when I was there right after they opened, the food was the same as when I arrived later on. So it wasn't fresh even from the start. I ate only food from the resort on my last day and ended up having food poisoning later that evening and the next morning.- the staff at the restaurant were not friendly or happy, they were miserable. There was only 1 guy who smiled when he saw me. It may seem trivial but if you're on holiday and at your hotel, you'd expect nice staff who say good morning at least or greet you somehow. Didn't happen once besides this one guy.- my room wasn't cleaned properly. I was generally quite clean and tidy but the same dirt was on the floor on more than one day, and the bathroom sink wasn't cleaned as there was also the same marks on consecutive days.
