Nhat Lan Resort

Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved swimming at the beach and spending time by the water. There are some great restaurants and coffee shops near by (if you like high quality cocktails and pour over coffee I highly recommend Origin, over the road from the top of the driveway).

Coming from New Zealand, we didn’t anticipate the beach to have parties on it! There is a new bar about 15 meters down the beach which played loud bass until about 11pm.

Great bungalows with panoramic view (=The place has its own beach part and sunbeds, which is veryyy important and coolvery nice restaurant with good food and coffee, you can have dinner & lunch there. dinner you can combine with cool sunset views perfect breakfasts! Extremely nice and helpful people work thereI think bungalows closer to the beach with white doors are newer (but I might be wrong)I recommend you take a bungalow with a beach view. I saw them, and they looked just wonderful To the central part of city - Night market its about 40 minutes by foot through the main road full of entertaining things, we loved our long evening strolls And being there in the central part, you can compare how less expensive the things near Nhat Lan are and also less dusty and quieter overallResort is just lovely (=

Could be noisy from clubs/insects on the trees till 11-12 Take earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper like me - but it's not the problem of the hotel (we cant blame them)

Very nice property with friendly, helpful staff. Great location- on the beach but close to town. Clean cabanas and even with just the garden view it is a nice setting.

Breakfast buffet was okay but not as great as many other places we have stayed in Vietnam

Friendly and welcoming staff both in Reception and Restaurant. Cozy, beautiful and green resort with bungalows and swimming pool. It is super quiet place good for families, you will hear only the sounds of nature and mosquitos at night.

We did not like the beach, the water was not that clean as we expected. So we had to swim in a pool only. We have seen some jellyfish, maybe May is not a season there to swim, no idea. And last one is mosquitos, mosquitos, ....tos.

The bungalows are set in a beautifully maintained garden. Every day you could watch a sunset from the terrace or from the nearby beach.The view is simply stunning.You will wake up to the awesome sight of the calming sea ,as well as the sound of chirping birds. We received two water bottles , tea and coffee every day ; our towels were also changed regularly. There is a small pool which is a nice bonus.The staff are very nice and friendly.

So so disappointing. There is a lot of conflicting reviews and I realised once we were shown our room why. People that are rating this place highly are staying in the bungalows which are nicer from what I've gathered. If you book a normal room, the hotel is not nice, our shower drain was blocked, breakfast rubbish, the other comments weren't lying about the dog barking early hours, I saw a rat run into the kitchen, and can confirm, the room does look like a hospital room. Got eaten alive by mozzies. Do not stay here, just pay more for somewhere nicer

Fantastic Boutique seaside resort hotel. We had the family bungalow with garden view (two queen beds) for nine nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They boys at the restaurant were fun, while providing good friendly service. The beds were comfortable, clean linen and comfortable pillows. The bar fridge was cold and roomy enough for drinks, fruit etc, and had a freezer section where we could make our own ice with our travel ice packs. Kettle, cups provided and coffee and tea were replenished daily in our room. There were two little glasses in the bathroom, but we wanted tall ones to have GT in, so the restaurant leant us two for our entire stay. The cupboard was big enough to put one of our large suitcases in and had four shelves down one side for storing backpacks etc. The little table and chairs came in handy too. Rooms were cleaned every day and we were provided with fresh towels daily as well. Bathroom was basic, but had plenty of water pressure and hot water. Shampoo and body wash is provided as well as a hair dryer. The aircon is quiet and worked very well. The balcony is lovely to sit out on and it had three chairs and a little table. We loved our little cottage! We were about half way between the 3 story hotel and they beach. One minute walk to the restaurant and the beach. The breakfast was much better than we expected after reading reviews on here. We were very happy with the breakfast. The kitchen will make you fresh eggs or omelets on request and the breakfast buffet was replenished regularly. Always plenty of fresh bread and fruit as well as a selection of Pho, cereals, eggs, always a stew of some kind (which was lovely), always fresh stir fried veggies and often Vietnamese rice paper spring rolls, or some other wrapped meat. Coffee, tea and a diluted juice or two were always available. It was much more than a two star resort would offer. There were enough beach sun beds, but more umbrellas would benefit the resort. lovely beach.

It is a 2 star resort, it offers WAY MORE than 2 star. Don't book it if you expect 4 star!

Staff were very helpful, easy check in and the resort was well located. Rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast at their onsite restaurant looked out over the beach, it was simple, good food.

When you took your room key out the fridge no longer stays on!

After four minutes walk you are on busy main road where you´ll find everything useful for turists. Money exchange offices, many, many restaurants from cheap to more expensive, tourist agencies, nearby there is a bus stop for free of charge green buses of company VinBus nr.17,19 from north to south - famous Night Market in the center you´ ll reach (if I remember well, I hope) fourth stop to the north. But don´t go there untill sunset. Most reaurants and shops don´t work during day

To stay in main building is just for history lovers. Rooms look like in hospital in fifties. Bungalows are definitely better choice. We needed very quickly to change booking for different date so there wasn´t possibility for us. To take a shower in bathroom means the water is everywhere at floor. Shower is very close to basin, unpleasant position to take it.Because of short sea line there are just few sunbeds, you can see bad habit not only from people of my country, probably got used visiting Croatia coast. Early in the morning one person comes to the beach with several towels and occupies most of sunbeds and you will see these towels there all day although people are often gone. Don´t go from hotel short beachfront for a walk in sand. You´ ll see disgusting mess on beautiful coast. Nevermind if you´re heading to the right or left sideHost and staff almost don´t speak English. But usually they want to help you if needed

The location is excellent.

However, the cottages are in dire need of renovation. The mattress on the bed is very hard, the furniture is outdated.

Location is good, beach is good, staff is friendly although barely speak any English.

There were problems with hot water every day, place is worn off, our bungalow had holes so geccos, ants and other insects got in regularly, breakfast is catastrophic - it is better not to offer breakfast than offer this.

The shower was cold in the bungalow, the wi fi was a bit hit and miss. No plugs in sinks.Only minor niggles but the breakfast was truly awful. Cold fried eggs, cold sausages,sometimes a little cold bacon. No cereal or toaster, always had to ask for butter, no cold salad or meats. An empty jar of peanut butter appeared every morning. Some noodle stuff, cold, half hearted fruit bowl and a small basket of cut up baguettes.

I had bungalow 407 right next to the facility and laundry room, where staff was talking every early morning. It it right opposite the pool, so noisy place if you want to take nap. I did not realized that there are no windows, so only option is open the door during the night or aircondition (which I don't like). The worse part: seems there is less sunbends than guests. Meaning early morning wake up and putting the towel to book some. At 7.30 no free sunbed. No thanks.

Close to the own beach. Friendly staff. Can rent a bike on sight for a resonable price. We didn't use it but they make dinner on the brach which has nice athmosphere and looked also nice.Is probably the best place to watch te sunset.

The breakfast could have more vegetables and I tell this as a meat eater. For vegetarians there are not too many options.We stayed close to the neighbour on the beach which was beautiful but the neighbour (Vida Loca) played quite loud music which wasn't our taste. But on the upside they stopped at 10pm so to get a good rest was possible.

Seafront location, green territory, very chilling atmosphere

No nets on the bathroom window, big cockroach appeared through the bathroom window, it was scary. No shower cabin/door, just shower in the middle of bathroom, which is not convenient as all the floors are wet after showering

The staff was very helpful and kind.

We did not like the location of the resort, simply because we were looking for some peace and rest, and Duong Dong definitely is not that. Tje music from the clubs was present in the room until 1 am. The beds were also quite hard and the room was located closest to the check in, so we did not have a garden view but a view on apartment buildings. The room also had a weird smell every time we walked in.

The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. For the price we had an amazing experience. The beach was literally on your doorstop and everything was simple. It was a nice surprise.
