Sea Star Resort

The location is the highlight of this hotel as it is situated right on the beach amongst well established palm trees and tropical gardens. The staff are amazingly hospitable and genuinely honest and caring people. I felt very safe on Phuc Quoc.

The island is a quiet little paradise ruined only by the rubbish washed up on the beach daily.

The location of our beach front room was wonderful. The bar and restaurant are in a fabulous location with reasonable prices.

It was peak season so the resort felt quite crowded at times. The beach is very nice but there are many resorts all the way along it and it can be quite busy with people. This resort and Phu Quoc in general does not represent great value compared to the rest of Vietnam. Your money goes a lot further elsewhere in the country.

Bed linen only changed when specifically requested. Bungalows need some retouch. Hair dryers nor functional.

Very green and beautiful territory with lots of palm trees. Beach was 50 steps from our bungalow. The breakfast was open buffet and delicious. The restaurant of the hotel offers very good value lunches and dinners, not over priced.

There were a few hangers in the cupboard and in bathroom. The weather is hot and humid, it takes a lot of time for towels to dry up and it was difficult to ensure this. The waiter at the restaurant was a little slow and not paying his full attention. He asked lot of personal questions which could be rather distracting, meanwhile he forgot many items that you order.

it was sometimes confusing for staff when I asked, spoke about things for our family. there are no large/family rooms, so we hired 2 rooms. i had to give 2 room numbers, or they thought I was talking for only 2 people i.e. when asking for fresh towels. The loud music at the bar until 10 pm or so, which you could hear whether you liked it or not.

It was all good.

The resort is delightful. Close to everything in the town but right on the beach. It has a large beachfront, with plenty of shade and while there may be other beaches that are more beautiful, this one is quite perfect and ideal for watching the sunsets! The food is very good, highly recommend the bbq set for dinner and breakfast is plentiful with lots of variety. And most importantly the staff are super friendly and helpful. Finally all the newer hotel areas may be beautiful but don’t look at all like Vietnam. This resort has it all and for excellent pricing. Thank you for such a relaxing stay

Need to invest in good coffee. The morning pot is like a truck stop.

Excellent breakfast and a new very nice beach bar and restaurant

Breakfast was exceptional, really delicious with so many different options. Resort has beautiful private beach and pool. Resort is really safe because it has 24/7 security and reception. You can also park motorbike inside resort.

Staff were not friendly My breakfast that I could not eat when sick was left outside in corridorfor 3 days Was still sitting there the day I checked out.

Occasional bug visitors but has to be expected given the wonderful lush greenery around the resort. Mossie nets on beds appreciated

The staff were great. Very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. I had a cabin on the beach, the view was great. The onsite restaurant was good. This is a budget style older resort. It is great value for money. It is only short walk to the main road where there is a large section of restaurants and bars. You can relax on the beach and not be constantly approached by hawkers.

Very tired deco and furnishings. Didn’t get the property we booked. Booked a double and ended up with a twin pushed together.
