    Pros +

    • Distance to sight seeing around the southern parts of the island was fantastic.
    • The rooms are clean.
    • The SAILING CLUB was our favorite thing. The pool, breakfast, staff were top-notch! We LOVED it. The food was amazing, breakfast is made to order including fresh smoothies and juices for you. It was really exceptional. We spent more of our days by the pool than on the beach because the loungers were so comfortable and pool was refreshing. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. It had 3 small balconies and overlooked the promenade and beach. The front office staff were very sweet and accommodating.

    Cons -

    • It was Christmas eve when we were there and they were blasting music right below us. We complained to the front desk that we are here to relax not for a new years celebration. Also, we paid extra for balcony and it was an oversell. There is a beach in front of us but definitely would not swim there.
    • The location. The pool and their restaurant is like 5mins walk (it’s in a different location) and it is shared by the closeby hotels. Pool is always busy.My husband left his Amex card & put a USD 100 cash (both as a deposit) so they wont deduct his card right away as we plan to pay our food&drinks at the end of our stay all together. Despite leaving the card and a cash we were told at the restaurant that we did not put a deposit. My husband has to show a picture as a proof that he left his card and a cash on the reception as a deposit. This gave us a bad taste alreadty. On our check out day, we left our luggages in the reception so we can have breakfast and I asked the receptionist if the tote bag can be taken home, he said “No” so I gave it to him. After breakfast while waiting for our grab my husband got asked where is the tote bag, my husband was so confused and he said “I dont know” We are travelling with our baby and we have another city to visit before we go back to our home country .. and the only way for her to sleep is we use a bouncy ball/gym ball. We had breakfast for like 40 mins or more but they did not inform us that we left the inflated bouncy ball. That big ball in the room, they did not even dare to inform us that we forgot it. However, they have the audacity to asked about the tote bag?!!We stayed for 4 days and it wasn’t a nice experience, with some of the staff who are just working with a straight face… Never in my life i thought i would leave a bad review on this platform. We’ve been to Sapa and Hanoi prior going to Phu Quoc and the locals on the first places that we’ve been are much more welcoming and accomodating.
    • Our room was located on the far end of the property and adjoined a small local fishing village where the music was a bit loud at times. This entire village of buildings looks to still be under construction. It feels a bit dystopian. It is all new but empty? It feels like "if you build it they will come" but no one has come yet...There is a ton of large construction sites on your way in that looks to be an upcoming waterpark and other large attractions. Our assumption is that the entire area is being built up for when this all comes to fruition. Right now it just feels a bit in flux.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was so clean and well taken care of. The beach is right in front of the hotel, soft white sand, clear water, and comfortable sunbeds where you could just relax. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options to choose from. The staff is very nice and helpful. After we checked out, we got a message from the hotel staff that we forgot a jewellery bag, so I could come back and get it, and it was a great gesture from them. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

    Everything was perfect

Free upgrade to a room with balcony facing the sea. Two free coupons for ice cream (rocky mint was super good). Binh and his team of male staff were very helpful and patient. Room was cosy and clean and comfortable. Breakfast at Sailing Club was sumptuous and really worth it. Free water dispenser in the common area. There are a few minimarts (not super well stocked though) and massage places nearby.

Housekeeping rang my bell for several days at 8am/10am despite me having indicated in the app to do housekeeping at 2:30pm. Disturbed my sleep. Even after telling the reception to remind the housekeeping, they still rang the bell the next day morning. One morning, a nearby compound started a music/karaoke session at 9am! It was super loud and lasted for several hours. Swimming pool was a little inconvenient to use as it was not in the same compound. Not convenient to use the gym and second pool as well, as they were in another compound only accessible via shuttle bus (which only ran hourly and last bus was around 9pm). Location is right by the sea and super chill, but would need to grab to get to places like sunset town. Might be good to stay for one trip but will explore other accoms for subsequent trips.

The staff was absolutely incredible, they add 2 stars automatically to the score, Binh, andre, Thu and Hoa absoloutely great service everytime.Great and spacious even for the smallest room. Comfy bed , modern bathroom. The bicycle hiring is a nice touch, the beach is down the road, the breakfast by the sailing club is awesome.

Well, the construction noise. the building seems to almost be finished, so hopefully it'll be finished very soon.

    10MelvinPosted on: 5-8-2025

the service was exceptional Mr. Hoa and the other staff was very helpful. The breakfast was the highlight. Its open upto 0200 pm so its like a brunch. You need not get up early and rush.

    10RachaelPosted on: 5-4-2025

Modern and new interior, with great accessories (huge towels, nice beach bag). This is a small boutique hotel, and its main selling point is being able to use the Sailing Club facilities - including the beachfront restaurant (breakfast was amazing!) with pool and the pristine beach in front of it! Lovely location. Really hope to return.

    9AlenaPosted on: 4-29-2025

Stayed here with a friend for 4 days and loved our stay! It’s very new, clean and stylish. The facilities (swimming pool, beach and breakfast) are not exactly at the hotel but a stone-throw away, so don’t let it stop you from booking it. The food was absolutely amazing. Will stay there again.

Nothing not to like! But a little suggestion of having more light source and towel hooks in the bathroom.

    7JoPosted on: 4-21-2025

    Clean, modern, fair size

Only one hook to hand wet towels. Could fine an airer for them to put them on the balcony. Would have liked milk (not condensed) provided with tea/coffee

Access to the Sailing Club facilities, ( check out Sailing Club website ) especially the beach pool and restaurant. Beautiful beach. Complimentary bicycles and nicely paved beach path. Nightly poolside fire dance show was entertaining. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the front desk. Small night market restaurants within walking distance.

Housekeeping was a little disappointing, nothing serious, but I think the staff could be better trained. A little remote but peaceful oasis, lots of empty buildings, Grab rides were readily available. Got little stinging (sea lice) swimming off the beach. None of these are a deal breaker.

    8MariaPosted on: 4-11-2025

The hotel was clean, new, modern. Each day we were asked at the restaurant if the breakfast was included in our offer.

    8JanePosted on: 3-31-2025

The rooms were modern, well designed, clean and safe. The facilities were shared with another hotel, so for example the gym was 1km away. The facilities were great, just felt an effort to use them and the hotel did not make it clear what we could and couldn’t use within the cost. The beach and local pool did not have enough sun loungers. There was room for more so I dont understand why this didn’t happen. The staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent

    8BenPosted on: 3-15-2025

The hotel was very clean and in a great location just off the beach. The staff in the hotel were super helpful and always friendly.

The food down at the Sailing Club Beach restaurant was excellent and there was a variety of choice. However, the breakfast service in particular was very slow and we found that the restaurant staff were not overly attentive with taking orders / providing drinks.

    5LeoPosted on: 3-1-2025

The room was clean and tidy.

Staff unfriendly, they did not speak English at all. The hotel has no public area except the tiny reception. The pool is located in an other property, 4min walk. Pool is busy and noisy the restaurant next to the pool is overprices. I found this night very expensive for a bad service and bad hotel facilities.

    10HeatherPosted on: 2-27-2025

The space was basically brand new and we had an view of the ocean from our terrace. Breakfast was amazing and we were able to get beach chairs easily. We didn't even go to the 2nd pool area. Some people said the walk to breakfast was long in the reviews, but it is literally less than 2 minutes on a beautiful path you would walk further on a larger resort.

Nothing - amazing stay! We did the squid fishing tour from the brochure at the hotel. Not ideal and would not recommend more time in transport/waiting than on the boat and no one caught a squid on the whole boat so people generally felt it was a bit of trap. This was not part of the hotel amenities, but as a result of staying there we booked it.

    10ArinaPosted on: 2-8-2025

Everything was good. If you are looking for a quiet and comfy place to live at Pho Quoc it would be a nice choice. Service at this hotel was the best on the whole island. So I can highly recommend this place.

    9DeborahPosted on: 2-1-2025

Nice decor, convenient location, great breakfast

Check in staff didn't explain anything to us. We had to work out ourselves all the facilities available and the discount available at the restaurants. The hotel app was good but slow replies.

    7NataliaPosted on: 1-30-2025

Very nice and aesthetically looking designer hotel with attention to detail.

In our opinion the photos are a bit misleading - the swimming pool and breakfast are not located in the hotel building, but in the premises of the same complex about 3min by walk. We were also asked to pay a bigger deposit than it was mentioned in the offer (we withdrawn cash specially for this occasion beforehand).
