Wild Beach Phu Quoc Resort

Great little piece of beachfront. We had the beachfront bungalow and that was very nice. Spacious and comfortable. Nice swimming beach. Jenny the hostess was not on site, but very responsive to any request. Felt like a retro beach resort. Great bamboo hut restaurant. We enjoyed it for what it was. Would come back. We hired the scooter for $10us per day and it was a great place to spend exploring.

The place felt a little abandoned. At one point we were the only guests there. Breakfast menu was not inspiring. Meals were okay, but had to be ordered 4 hours in advance. We found the restaurant at the resort next door much better. There was quite a lot of beach rubbish when we arrived, which did improve over the days that we were there. There was no drinks menu other than pepsi and beer. Its a great place that cold benefit from a little more service and upkeep.

Very friendly staff, especially Jenny. Kudos to her she speaks very well English. Not for granted in VN. But honestly she is the only one in hotel who does.

Kinda of far out and very rustic roads. I am absolutely fine with but be prepared for it.

It‘s a great place to stay, we had the bungalow right on the beach it was very nice. Perfect when you want to be on your own and enjoy some peace and quiet. Jenny the host is such a nice person who try’s to make you feel welcome and helps with everything you need. All the other staff is very nice too. We had some great days here as a small family.

The resort could need some work, the photos don’t represent the current state. But everything works fine, all is clean and lovely.

Location. The quietness. Beautiful beach. Friendly staff. It is a bungalow on a private beach. Jenny, the manager, was beyond amazing. So attentive. So eager to help make everything possible. She is this resort. The dogs are awesome too. Everyone so friendly.

Great beach bungalow. Unfortunately, still a bit dirty on the beaches, low water pressure in the bathroom and not very clean in rooms and all around the grounds. For the cost I think it should have been a bit better level but overall the experience was great. The quiet of the area and place, the staff were so friendly.

It has a nice private beach with free sunbeds. The room is quite large, comfy and everything is clean. Very quiet place. Wifi is very stable in all locations. If I should point out one thing, it's the staff - so nice and friendly! I had an amazing stay I will never forget.

There was a flood so it looked really diffrent

The host Jenny was very nice. The view from the beach and the sea was perfect. Nice and quiet. Ideal for taking a break and relaxing. You can rent a bike for 10 dollars and within 10 minutes youre in Grand World and the Vietnamese like Disney Park.

Amazing view to the ocean. Jenny and her family were lovely hosts. We loved the isolation and calmness of the place. Really nice that we could rent a scooter on the spot.

Maybe a bit rough ride on the unpaved road to the nearest street. Bathroom needs a bit of a touch up. The bed was very squeaky. But these were very minor things, that did not influence the quality of the stay.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The room was spacious and clean - looks just like in the pictures online. They provided fresh towels and a bottle of water every day.

Unfortunately the chef was sick when we arrived, so there was no lunch and dinner. For a location this far off, that was quite inconvenient. The room has no fridge, so we had to put our stuff in a common fridge, where things can get mixed up. The location is very far away from everything. We wanted to rent a motor bike, but the only offer they had was for 200k per day, which is absolutely unreasonable for Vietnam. Next door, we rented a motorbike for 100k per day. The beach was very underwhelming and in the time we were there (mid March) it seemed to be the windiest beach on the island. The entire "resort" seemed to need a bit of a renovation. Everything looks kind of like in the pictures just old. The rain-shower in our bathroom wasn't working, there were some tiles missing in the bathroom. It was a bit dusty here and there. The outdoor furniture was a bit run down. The bar was not staffed in the evenings, so it wasn't possible to order any drinks.

Staff were friendlyOn the beach (but there are nicer beaches on the island, even a little further north where you can snorkel off the beach.)

Rooms were budget, you get looked after better if you stay for a week or more. No fridge, lack of choice of drinks and especially cold ones. No nearby shops. Room was only serviced 1 time in 5 days. Bugs and ants all through the room and bathroom. Very budget without a budget price tag.

Lovely bungalow, private beach access, wonderful helpful stuff, very familiar. Helped us getting a scooter and a snorkelling trip.

Unfortunately there wasn’t a seaside view available as we hoped to have booked.The bath tub seemed to be a bit loose

Shuttles to and from airport or city have limited times

No hot water,!! Cluttered room, cobwebs & spiders in accomodation, creaky bed, fridge had rusty shelves, untidy complex, lack of facilities, isolation & access road to property very difficult to navigate overall extremely dissappointed expected more for the money.

Amazing resort with a great potential. Jenni is very kind and helpful in any situation. Ideal for those who are looking for relax rather than exploring the island as the road to the resort was quite bumpy and there are not many shops or “touristy stuff” around.

The bathroom was not really clean - it was visible that not many gusts come.

The host was great, easy to check in, have a great breakfast and get a motorbike. She is quick to respond on the app if she is not around and not to mention her 2 lovely pups

The road to the property is a bit rough but that has nothing to do with the hotel at all

quite, peaceful and natural. The sea is so clean that you can see your toes while the level of water reaches your chest. In addition, there were 2 dogs that are so cute

Wild beach resort was a amazing stay for me! Kindly and helpfull staff they are always ready to help you. Breakfast was good as well as dinner I eat everyday at the resort. No problems with wifi during my stay. it's a peacefull resort at the beach.

Lovely place, right on the beach. When we took the kayaks out (free from the hotel) you really appreciate how hidden it looks compared to the neighbouring one. In keeping with nature. People are super friendly and helpful. The road to reach the hotel is just a dirt track, so be aware when you make a taxi driver take you there (the hotel offer pick ups for a similar Grab rate). If you make the driver go the longer way, it’s better. Some building work going on a little further away, but no loud noisy drilling (only unloading of building sand), which we didn’t find disturbing. We hired a motorbike from them. Super easy. We had a dinner there one night and it was good. Breakfast is also good, but basic. Room was cleaned everyday and the it was pretty big, only 15m from the sea.

Not a major thing, but our shower didn’t have a huge flow (hot water heated with a tank, which we were made aware of). Bathroom almost as big as the bedroom! Other thing, which is not the hotel fault, was a bit of rubbish on the beach. Just be mindful of your rubbish!
