    • Absolutely loved my time at this resort. It was so peaceful! There are tons of places to relax and lay down in the shade or the sun. The beds on the beach were perfect and the pool was gorgeous.
    • Location, room

    Cons -

    • Mosquitoes
    • Some of the furnishings felt a bit old and dated. Could use some renovations such as in the bathroom. The fixtures could use an upgrade or maybe just a great cleaning such as with the shower heads. Many of the holes in the shower head are plugged. The rooms are very simply furnished. Could use some modernity with charging stations and/or Bluetooth speakers/clock.

The property is conveniently located on the island, thus making it easy to travel around. Since it’s close to the town center, tour companies will easily pick up and drop off for tours. The main plus of the property are the gardens. So calming and beautifully manicured, with birds greeting you every day! Quite melodic! The food was also a big plus!

Property located right on beach. Staff was exceptional made us feel very welcomed. The owner also had employee appreciation dinner when we were there and another night he had sangria night with the owner. Would stay here again if in Phu Quoc.

Quiet, tranquil, a little remind me like Bali. Food was great, spa was amazing too! Room was homey

Very relaxing. Beautiful rooms and scenery. Great view and access on the beach. The room was veryyyy nice, spacious and big bathroom. They have yoga classes every morning. Breakfast is rich with a nice vibe and set up. The pool is great with right on the beach. Location is kind of good - there is a really nice beach bar 7 min walk on the beach. Everything was amazing.

I and my parents stayed in this beautiful property in May 2025. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and really loved the place. Breakfast is good and suits Indians as well as plenty of options to choose. The owner is very polite and sweet and often can be seen interacting with tourists on property. Rooms are beautiful as well and overall it’s well maintained. Highly recommend the property as it’s near to city centre and also has beach access.

It was a great experience to stay at Cassia Cottage, from check-in to check-out! The room was large, with a great balcony looking towards the sea. The Spice House restaurant was amazing!

Would highly recommend staying here! My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. From staying beach front, the best buffet breakfast we’ve had in Vietnam, the restaurant, the beach front bar, and the very helpful and lovely staff, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will be back for sure.

Fantastic property & location , has everything you need. Loved the beach bar and spice house food delicious. Wonderful staff.

A little noisy at times (inconsiderate guests playing loud videos on phones in public areas); extra pillows on outdoor furniture would be great.

Staff were amazing, friendly and full of advice on where and what to so.

Cassia Cottage was an amazing place to stay. We were so relaxed the whole stay. Right on the beach and close enough to lots of shops and food, but it still felt like a tranquil oasis. The breakfast was excellent, with home made sourdough being a stand out. I also enjoyed the free yoga each morning. I had a spa treatment to the sound of cicadas and gently lapping waves, it was dreamy. Would definitely stay again.

    Beware the mosquito!

Our favorite place from the trip to Vietnam, just like a dream! So many flowers and trees, beautiful gardens and also the cottage was very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The pools and beach were perfect for relaxing, with a fresh smoothie from the bar or cocktail at sunset during happy hour :) Everything was perfect! We did a peaceful morning yoga session, rented a motorbike from the resort and the breakfast was incredible! Same goes for the food we tried from the restaurant, where a romatic dinner can also be served by the pool. Would definitely come back when visiting Vietnam ??

    Nothing :)

The location and little hills were perfect

Mosquitoes made it hard to enjoy the outside area at night

Beautiful hotel, great breakfast buffet with large selection.Cottage was nice and bed comfortable Also the beach bar is worth a visit

Despite having a mosquito net covering the bed, the insects are everywhere.

Everything at this property is exceptional, from staff ,facilities to the food. Nothing was too much trouble . Just off the main road and so quiet with great pools and beach.

It’s not a cottage….but a nice accommodation option set in lush gardens, with a few steps to the beach.Three swimming pools. Quiet at night. 5 min walk to local restaurants and the main road.

    All was great!

I stayed at Cassia Cottage for 5 nights, in 3 different room categories — 3 nights via Booking.com and 2 nights booked directly with the hotel. While the resort has its charm, my overall experience was quite mixed. On the positive side, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. There’s a dedicated guest relations team who actively check in with guests to assist with anything during their stay, which I appreciated. The beach is clean and peaceful, perfect for relaxing, and the bar is a nice spot to enjoy a sunset drink — especially with the live music and buy-one-get-one-free happy hour. However, there were several concerns that affected our stay. Unfortunately, I became very sick the first night at the hotel. While I can't definitively say the cause, I had arrived in Phu Quoc two days earlier and was fine until I checked into Cassia Cottage. The beds were also very uncomfortable — both my partner and I had back pain after a couple of nights. Another safety issue was a large insect nest (possibly Asiatic hornets) right outside our room. Although staff responded quickly to remove it, it was still alarming to discover it just right outside our door.Other areas for improvement: the breakfast could be better in both variety and quality, and the hotel has a strict cancellation policy — once you book, changes are difficult which can be frustrating. In summary, while the service and beachfront location are lovely, issues with hygiene, comfort, and flexibility made our experience less enjoyable than expected.
