    Pros +

    • The location is incredible, and the "villas" or bungalows are simply stunning. We felt totally pampered, while also being very close to nature in a low-key (not too extravagant) environment.
    • It was unabashedly rustic and super-romantic.
    • Amazing location. Excellent food. Amazing spa. Fantastic bungalow. Did not leave the resort for a whole week!

    Cons -

    • The food at the restaurant was good, but not great. Granted, we're comparing it to the INCREDIBLE cuisine we were experiencing all over Vietnam. Good variety + western options, though. Slow service at the restaurant, but otherwise zero complaints!
    • Snorkeling seemed a bit boring. Ocean temperature was very nice in November
    • No pool. And the food menu is leaning towards western audiences. Great food and great quality though. If you are OK with those two inconveniences, it is the near perfect resort.

Near perfect asian bungalow resort. A tropical garden as you imagine it, and some of the nicest bungalows I have seen in 15 years of intense traveling in South East Asia.

No pool. And the food menu is leaning towards western audiences. Great food and great quality though. If you are OK with those two inconveniences, it is the near perfect resort.

Magical setting with spacious villas. The restaurant serves some of the best food we had in Phu Quoc. All the staff are lovely.Perfect spot for great cocktails watching a magical sunset.

    10LinhPosted on: 9-3-2025

The service is really good; the staff are so friendly and nice. We got a super early check-in and access to our room with full warming support from the staff. Food quality is really good, and the sunset view from On the Rock restaurant is the nicest thing on the island. The compound is surrounded by greenery.

The beach isn't too good for swimming, particularly. I think it could be better if they added some Vietnamese noodle soups or hotpot to their menu for lunch and dinner. The lavatory in my bathroom got clogged and the drain flow was super slow.

Quiet, beautiful, splendid nature setting of forest jungle and beach. Great food and excellent breakfast options. Just lovely. Highly recommended

    6ViPosted on: 7-26-2025

The natural vibe, private beach, stunning breakfast view at the restaurant in the rock, peace and quiet, only noise from the nature.

I like everything except for the tomb view. This recalls me of Thai ghost movie! Breakfast does not fit to Vietnamese taste. Driver is rude, car smells with smoking.

    10Hieu R.Posted on: 7-8-2025

The vibes were secluded and although it was a resort, it had a tucked away in the jungle type feel

It was a little off the beaten path to get into town, and even with the cooling system in the room, it got a little muggy at times

    10PaulPosted on: 4-19-2025

Breakfast was superb in a stunning setting!

More hooks and hangers in the bedroom please.

We LOVED this resort! Amazing service from the staff, incredible food, great rooms with mosquito control & individual bed aircon. The best hotel breakfast we have ever eaten. Lovely free morning yoga, free snorkels etc. loads of beautiful beach and clear blue sea. can’t recommend it enough!!

Amazing staff. Amazing location. Amazing restaurant.

This is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. With outstanding, clean facilities, a welcoming and smiling staff, and a variety of delicious breakfast options, every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, a private beach, daily free shuttle services, and movie nights under the stars. The location is ideal, with easy access to a coral reef (by boat from local dive instructors), scooter rentals, wellness services and local food and activities nearby in Doung Doung. We loved it so much we extended our stay until our flight home!

Mango Bay is an incredible experience! Surrounded by natural beauty. The bungalow we stayed in had a sea view, was super comfy and had a wonderful outdoor bathroom. The resort boasts some wonderful free activities, such as kayaking, bike riding and scuba etc. The two restaurants at Mango Bay are right in the rocks and sand by the beach with a great selection of different and delicious cuisine.Mango Bay is eco-minded and seems to build on the idea of sustainability. It should be noted that there’s no air conditioning, however they do have a neat cooling system for the bed. You’re also in nature so will encounter some interesting geckos, lizards, and other wildlife; but it all adds to the charm of the place.

    10GabriellePosted on: 3-26-2025

Location is good for a beach resort. There's 2 beaches there. One rocky and one can swim. Breakfast is good. I got food poisoning and they got me ginger tea and meds. Eco beach resort and I love that. No plastic waste during my stay.

There's alot of geckos and the big type that makes sound at night. Hahaha I got used to it but it's totally freaky as there's a few in the room and looks like a snake.

    6EmmanuelPosted on: 3-25-2025

    breakfast

the room format (hut), no AC, too warm, too much walking, no pool. Amenities kinda damaged (lounge chairs).

    8KarunPosted on: 3-15-2025

    Its uniqueness.

No air conditioning in the room. Rooms have open holes from where mosquitos and lizards comes inside.

    10BrianPosted on: 3-15-2025

very private cottage with ocean view, excellent cooling system incorporated into the top of the canopy bed, great bathroom open to a private garden, great restaurants, great food, nice private beach

beach chairs and cushions were old and didn't sit up quite high enough to read a book

    10SchubloomPosted on: 3-11-2025

Quiet with natural beauty of the ocean very accessible. Your property is kept very clean by your friendly and helpful staff and I did not have to leave the property as good food and beverage options are available on site.

We loved our bungalow which was seaside P10 . Fantastic food for both breakfast and dinner. Dining options “on the rocks” or at the beach were scenic, peaceful and service was over the top professional . Housekeeping and bungalow management was perfect. Highly recommend. Yoga on the beach was great each morning for free.
