- Location
- First of all, this accommodation is in a gorgeous place, it has its private beach area with beach beds and umbrellas, massage services (150k VND for 30 mins back massage), a beautiful garden, a pool, the location is dreamlike. The breakfast included was not super varied but it was really tasty, I recommend to try their mango pancakes, it was so good! There is also a beach bar with reasonable prices, and the staff was really nice and friendly. Close to the resort there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, grocery stores, pharmacies, anything you could wish for. The bus station is not so far either (towards other attractions on the island). I genuinely wish we had more time here, it was great! The pool was clean and almost never used, because most of the people were on the beach. The beach itself was clean as well, no trash, you could swim in the sea without any issues. Not as clean as Khem beach, but clean regardless, if you're lucky you can even see tiny little crabs in the sand!
- I like the location and the very friendly staffs here.
Cons -
- The receptionist doesn’t speak English, so I had an issue at check-in with the driver they booked. I had to explain via Google Translate that he took my money when the transfer was free of charge . There was a lot of back and forth after a long flight to reach Phu Quoc. I just wanted to check in, shower, and sleep, not manage an issue.
- The reviews about the mosquitoes are true (and honestly, that's expected in a beach area), so make sure you have mosquito repellent with you. We also had a gecko in our room, which probably helped us with the mosquitoes, but be aware that geckos chirp really loud at night, so sometimes it was hard to sleep. The bed sheets weren't exactly spotlessly clean, they had some spots on them, that was not ideal. However, I genuinely think that based on the resort prices in Phu Quoc, this was a great value for the price we paid, and I think it definitely met our expectations.
- mosquitos have caused awkwardness to guests.

I like the location and the very friendly staffs here.
mosquitos have caused awkwardness to guests.
Nice small but clean swimming pool located right on the beach plenty of trees for some relief from sun.
Smell of the septic tank by the restaurant on the beach we had to move our seat it was so bad.
Great pool and great location on the beach..the staff at the beach cafe were so friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned every day..
Room is very average. Quite small, stuffy and old. Bed sheets had stains, bathroom not great.
The location close to the beach was perfect.
Breakfast was not good, the beds are extremely hard, we had a lot of bugs in our room and our shower was dirty.
Good
The bungalow was only a half bungalow and very dark With a very loud aircondition in the building next to it
This is a great location with lovely gardens down to the sea.the price is around $100 Australian a night.the pool is nice too although could use a better clean. The beach area is pretty crowded with umbrellas but we always managed to get a good table thanks to Thai the helpful staff member. This place is centrally located in long beach with. A large selection of eateries , doing much the same food.A couple of excellent meals were had at Indian in the International hotel close bye and the German sausage guy up the road.
Limited breakfast.we did stay a Month so it was difficult to get huge variety.
We are so happy with our stay here! The place is way more beautiful in real life than the pictures on here and the staff is lovely! The private beach was our favorite: with free sunbeds and a kiosk where you could buy smoothies, lunch, snacks, cocktails etc - we could stay there and relax all day. There are many good restaurants and bars just up the street which was super convenient for night time.
The place is not brand new and some smaller details in the interior could do with an upgrade, for example our toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall :) Nothing that had a negative effect on our stay though, the rooms were very clean which was more important to us!
Location is ideal and beach is beautiful.
We all had food poisoning from breakfast.
Location is excellent, right on the beach and close to nice restaurants. It was quiet of a night especially for a tourist area.
The pool needed attention.
We had a wonderful bungalow with a view of the beach and the sea. It was spacious and private. The breakfast was good - especially the pancakes. They have lots of loungers on the beach. It's a great place to view the sunset. There are some good restaurants just a short walk away.
The shower system is outdated and confusing
Fabulous small beach resort , all staff were great and very friendly , we stayed in a bungalow which was a good size and had a lovely terrace , beach lovely with nice comfy sunbeds and a small pool set back in resort , good breakfast part buffet part order freshly cooked , beach bar perfect for sunset drinks , location very quiet setting but only 5 minutes walk past a good few restaurants and bars on the way to main road strip , will definitely be back again.
Staff were brilliant! Very friendly, helpful and brought us breakfast to the room each morning (we could have chosen to eat in the restaurant). The beach was cleaned every morning and mattresses placed on our sunbeds. We had a sea view bungalow with a balcony, table and 2 seats to admire the view. Room and bathroom were both large with everything we needed to help us unwind for a week. Nice pool area to go for a cool down swim. Lovely, short walk amongst the trees and gardens down to the beach. The sound of birdsong and the waves to lull you to sleep. Some nice restaurants fifty metres up the road. Couple of grocery stores just around the corner. Fifteen minutes walk to the night market. A free bus service also runs every 30 minutes along the main road.
Bathroom was a little tired. Not the fault of the Hiep Thanh Resort but we found the sea quite dirty with plastic waste during our visit so the pool was fantastic to cool down. The staff do clean the beach each day though!
Excellent location, big room with two big bed for families. We love the garden, the stuff and the ocean. Could reccomend.
Perfect location on the beach and close to restaurants and a few bars
Bed was very very firm
The surrounding gardens and location to the beautiful beach was very good. The staff who worked across all the resort at different levels were helpful and friendly all the time of our stay.
We stayed at this resort in the same room of the main building 4 years ago when it was in need of a good redecoration as the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the bathroom needed a upgrade. Nothing had changed since then.
Close to the beach! Their mango salad with shrimp that you could get at the beach kiosk was amazing! Staff were always happy and smiling!
Perfect location on the beach, friendly staff with great service. The location is perfect and is close to a couple shops and good restaurants. If I go to Phu Quoc again I will definitely stay here again.
Can't think of anything to dislike... Would love a good banh my for breakfast, but the breakfast was very good either way
Absolutely nothing, we booked a bungalow in front of the beach that it wasn’t in front of the beach. The poor receptionist wasn’t speak English so was very difficult explain anything. The room is so basic for the price. The beach was disgusting full of Plastic , the sun beds messy , no bar or restaurant… Also breakfast was bad, so easy to make some pancakes but not, coffee was impossible to drink and pineapple colour was brown. Last but not less important they charged us for the water in the room. Unbelievable.
