    Pros +

    • Great Hotel, top facilities, great beach, swimming pools, breakfast included was very good with lots of choice.
    • Strongly recommend this hotel. Everything was excellent. Somehow I felt the bed mattress of the BWVilla too soft for me. Stayed 3 nights but could not use private pool because of some technical issue? The staffs were trying to solve a whole day. The beach was little distance, however the buggy car always were ready for us to take anywhere in the hotel/villa area including the night market.
    • Amazing location , there is night market right outside the hotel , the beach is kinda muddy but the bar is pretty good … overall i would say great place for family to relax

    Cons -

    • No smart TV, see through shower curtains
    • Kitchen ware was not in the villa house, you need to have them upon request for 4 person the additional amount will be charged even though you are 5 people in there.
    • I wish they had the certain schedules for fun games , so that people could enjoy

I really enjoyed my stay at Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc. The resort is very clean, well-maintained, and offers excellent facilities such as a large swimming pool, private beach, spa, gym, and multiple dining options. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, making it more suitable for families and couples. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful.(Must be use google translate)

Honestly, there was nothing significant to dislike. Everything met my expectations and the stay was comfortable and pleasant. (Must be use google translate)

Location is amazing, just a 1-minute walk to the Night Market. Staff are amazing. Great vibes, amazing swimming pool, and facilities.

Facilities were conveniently close, pool was great, room had a decent size and fairly comfortable. Food was amazing, and price competitive with similar quality restaurants we visited during our trip. Location was also good, small marts across the street, restaurants and night market too. The highlight was service. The staff is incredibly warm, attentive and helpful. A special shout out to Tùng Anh who checked in on us in several occasions, and did go an extra mile to make our stay the best one possible. During this trip our family had chosen two resorts and this was definitely the best due to staff, service and location.

Although the resort is beachfront, we did not enjoy it as much. Maybe because we visited during low season, but the rough waters made the pool more inviting for families with kids. The beds were not as comfortable, but not horrible.

We went with another 2 couples- good location for families and friend. Breakfast was incredible. Pool bar well stocked and not overly priced

    A little isolated

-> Wonderful place to stay. All tidy and clean, the Two-Bedroom Executive Suite with Two Queen Beds is perfect for families as it is as space with 2 rooms.-> The location is great, 5min walk to the night market where you have restaurants, spas and street stalls, street merchants as well as a local supermarket with all the stuff you may need like diapers, milk, cookies, drinks, fruit, etc.-> The shuttle BUS from/to airport is super convenient, but if you can't take it, no worries, just use Grab app - it's cheap and the cars/drivers are tidy and safe.-> Huge swimming pools with fun toys & gadgets to play-> Food at the ESSENCE RESTAURANT is superb and has an extensive menu with local and international food

-> We missed the airport shuttle provided by the hotel. The instructions sent via Booking.com mentioned that the pickup location was at 'Domestic Arrivals,' while we arrived at 'International Arrivals,' which is the case for most travelers. Unfortunately, the mention of 'Domestic Arrivals' was buried in a lengthy paragraph of text, making it easy to overlook. Despite all, the hotel did not follow up or attempt to assist us further—such as calling us or coming down one floor to help with the pickup. This lack of proactive communication left me feeling unsupported and demonstrated careless service in this situation.

Exceptional hotel, friendly staff who go out of their way to help you. Lovely location, just opposite a night market and right on a lovely clean beach. Would love to return one day

Food was amazing. Very rich breakfast and dinner from an ala carte menu. Spacious rooms and very polite staff.

Maybe there should be more organized entertainment for guests on the shore and on the pool.

    7JenniferPosted on: 4-5-2025

Location next to the night market is fab!Not sure how this is a 5* hotel… rooms are basic. Had same quality in a 3*. Beds are small! Went with a family of 4 & they kept giving us two big towels… constantly asking for 4.The smoking around the pool is the worst. Smoking at the swim up pool bar is disgusting. Breakfast is good. Wide variety.

Very clean beautiful hotel. Great for relaxing on the beach. Pools were entertaining and lots of chairs

The hotel is on the outskirts of town but transportation is very easy to get

Awesome swimming pool, bike ride & beach access.

    9KarenPosted on: 3-12-2025

Lovely hotel on very nice clean beach with plenty of sun beds. Beautiful gardens and lovely swimming pool. Nice big room, we paid extra to have sea view. Hotel is in a great location opposite the night market with lots of food choices. We didn't use the gym or spa. Very friendly helpful staff. Big choice at breakfast - was sometimes busy at peak times. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

    We liked it all!

    9HassallPosted on: 3-7-2025

I like breakfast but a bit busy during peak hours. Pehaps basic cutlery as there was a kitchenette in the room

    8IvyPosted on: 3-1-2025

The SPA, private beach, beach bar, beach strip to ride the hotel’s rental bicycle, are great for the start of my trip to ease my wired brain from chaos to relaxation mode. The spa is expensive in comparison to local spas, but for the quality of the cleanliness and comfort of hotel and the experience, the hotel spa is excellent. Also, since the hotel is in a resort area, there is a market with lots f local massage/ souvenir/ food stall businesses for alternate spending than at the hotel.

It was very resort style, so expect families and couples ambiance. Also, very commercial and not much character.I also didn’t like that I had to pay for the rental bicycle. A deposit makes more sense than to make your guest paying for it. Even though it was a tiny cost, this would make the experience more premium. Also, no mosquito coils anywhere at night is a bit annoying in the hobby and restaurant area.

    5CoreyPosted on: 2-23-2025

    It was clean.

The images did not match the property and it was way overpriced for what it was. It was also very crowded.

    7MrPosted on: 2-18-2025

    The facilities are first class

As with most big hotels, the service is impersonal. It’s not the staffs fault, there just aren’t enough of them.

    10Adam W.Posted on: 2-17-2025

Facility was nice, Breakfast buffet selection was amazing, pool and beach were great, we really enjoyed the Sonasea night market, airport shuttle was convenient. Staff went out of their way to wish my son a happy birthday.

This is the best location. Near Night Market and Restaurants. Local food. The beach is at the hotel area. So all Great
