Ms Trang the Receptionist was very helpful. She has a beautiful smile and made all things welcoming. For the bathroom v world suggest to add folding doors or curtains to separate the bath tub from the bed room, which have more privacy.

The hotel is placed in the nice area, with a walking distance to the long beach and night market. The rooms have a great view of the ocean. Breakfast was included, and the menu was different so it’s nice you’re not eating the same stuff every day. The staff can converse in English, not in perfect level, however, to meet all your needs. Room service is amazing and they cleaning your room every morning, providing fresh towels and water. The receptionist is always there, ready to help. The hotel seems quiet and comfortable. They also provide bike rental service, but unfortunately, there was no available bike for us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at M Hotel.

The few things made us disappointed: so, first of all, when we arrive the room wasn’t ready so we had to wait a bit to check in. When we finally got our room, we found someone’s else T-shirt in the laundry bag (most likely from the previous guest). Ew… Later on, we were interested to try floating breakfast, and staff told us we need to wait 2 hours for them to make it. 2 hours to make coffee, juices and fruit platter with sandwiches? Also, they will always ask you the room number when you’re downstairs on breakfast to make sure you’re cot coming to eat the second time, which is understandable, however, the tone of voice and this paper haha made us feel like in prison sometimes. Laundry: they propose an additional charge for that service, depending of the item from your wardrobe. Skirt at one charge, t-shirt another one… so if you need to wash your clothes, be ready to pay approximately 30-45$ for that. I think that’s uncomfortable especially if you’re staying for longer. It would be nice if the management can include laundry service in the the overall booking fee, because this hotel is not cheap.

Lovely place with the perfect location: only a few meters away from the Night Market to enjoy local food, the West side beach to enjoy a romantic sunset. We spent 1 day up North and 1-day tour on 4 islands following the hotel's guidance. They also offered motorbike rental so we could spend the last day driving to the Khem beach and enjoy there (about 30 min driving). We were picked up and dropped off free from/to the airport, which is nice.Everything is clean and smells nice, which is very important for us. Definitely will return in the future

The wifi for TV was not good that we couldn't watch YouTube properly...

Great location close to night markets and many other food options. Great views over the water. Staff were so friendly and accommodating nothing was too much for them to organise. Amazing room very clean and spacious the bathtub looking out to the water was a highlight. Will stay again on my next visit to phu quoc.

The bed is very comfy. The pool is very well located. The room is quiet. The beach and the night market are very close to the hotel.

The breakfast is a bit expensive 290k vnd per day/person.The leak of water due to a broker window didn't make the full experience stunning. But the rest of the stay was good.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and went over the top to help with any questions we have. Special mention to the security guard outside, he went above and beyond with everything from the second our bags left the car on arrival. He was also very welcoming and greeted us with a huge smile every time we came and went from the building.

The property was great value for money but the beach next to it was not the best on the island. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool though.

PrePaid the room through booking.com. Arrived and reception staff refused to give room key because I was not carrying the physical card I made the reservation with. Female manager - a little Hitler refused to cancel because it a non returnable reservation. Refused to refund and refused to give me a key. That’s theft in my opinion so I called the police. My family are with me watching this. I was sick, stressed and reaching for my heart medication. Not even a glass of water from the hotel. After 2 hours of arguing I got through to booking.com help line. They called the hotel and told them they can’t do this. They gave me a room key. No apology from the Hitler in charge They pretend to be a 4* hotel… the manager needs to be removed, retrained and sent to work in the kitchen.

Big sized rooms and price per night was reasonable. Room quite modern.

No air conditioning in lifts. The staff spoke very little English which made it very hard to communicate and receive the services requested- food orders especially. The shower close to toilet is annoying and an inconvenience. We were on our honeymoon and booked through bookings.com and told we were given room as booked (ocean view) but were not. They did eventually move us to the 6th floor. Very noisy overnight and early mornings as windows are not double glazed. The breakfast buffet does not really cater for Westerners. Cereal was limited and stale. They could capitalise on tourists by offering pool side service ie drinks and food by QR code or in person but you have to go up two floors to restaurant to order. Room cleaning is quite regimented between hours of 8-10. Most days we were woken by someone knocking on the door to clean our room. There seems to be works underway everyday with workers onsite having their breaks and meals throughout whole day in restaurant areas. Works were particularly annoying when all we wanted to do was relax by the pool to cool down as very hot. Pool towels are very small ie cater more for locals rather than tall or larger westerners. Poor English resulted in our booked transfer being told to leave but that was rectified. The staff overall were trying their best to please but poor and limited customer service knowledge and English made this very difficult. There is so much potential for this hotel to be one of the best in the location it’s at but it needs a lot of work and someone with extensive hospitality knowledge to improve its service and increase comfortability.

An attractive modern hotel with friendly staff and a great palm tree lined swimming pool looking out over the sea. Breakfast was good as was the fresh, crispy, fried squid available all day as a (restaurant) snack; and a couple of doors along is a great little bakery with brilliant croissants, nice apple pastries and yummy passion fruit panna cotta. We'd come over on a ferry from Ha Tien so they were sweet enough to organize us a cab to fetch us from the port & on the way home we took advantage of their free transport to the nearby airport just 20 minutes away which is small, clean, efficient but alas has no wi-fi!

Sadly, Phu Quoc has been badly and unimaginatively planned (if at all): its tiny beaches pretty but often strewn with rubbish and debris - so take a day trip if it's not too windy to 2 or 3 nearby islands to swim or go fishing - and dominated by large roads choc a block with endless hotels but few interesting shops or eateries (though the local prawns are a delight.

Pillow too soft, shower & toilet in same room, when showering water splashing all over the toilet. Noisy due to main street.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at M Hotel. We had an ocean eyes suite and the view was stunning. The pool is beautifully situated next to the sea and there are some steps down to the beach which isn’t the best swimming spot but quite fun. Very easy to laze away days next to the pool. Really nice staff. Five min walk to the night market. Many thanks!

These didn’t detract from our stay but some suggestions:Perhaps you could be a bit more flexible with your airport shuttle - we didn’t use it as the times didn’t work. But Grab taxis are cheap so no problem.A drinking water dispenser would be good - to save on plastic.
