    Pros +

    • The hotel is close to the airport and a long of great beach that does not feel crowded and is very long. Can have great walks. There is also a very long boardwalk along the beach that you can bike along. The pool area is well done and the food is good. The staff weee good and they were kind to offer me a discount when I erred in my booking dates.
    • nice amenities, clean rooms.
    • Spacious room - excellent service in the restaurant.

    Cons -

    • It’s quite expensive and all the food and drinks are expensive as well. The water equipment as well as the bikes are old and in poor condition. There are no small boats such as dinghy’s or catamarans to take out as other resorts there offer. There is also no nightlife in the resort or around the area. There should be at least a piano bar and occasional live music to liven the resort and get people to hang out there longer. They should also offer the shuttle to sunset town daily and more often during the day as well as shuttles to the main town.
    • really bad customer service
    • All good. Quality of Pina Colada could be improved. Should be done with coconut cream

Lovely room and the food around the pool was good. There was a good selection at the breakfast each morning. Great swimming pool for the kids.

Very little water supplies in the room each day and many of the bottles wouldn’t open. It would be good to provide more to reduce the amount of plastic waste with guests buying water. The surface at the water sprinklers needs looking at as the grate was sharp and dangerous.

Overall Pullman was a great experienceHotel is well maintained & is very pretty. Staff are really lovely. The main restaurant is delicious, food was excellent and a good mix of western and Vietnamese. Breakfast is also very good and tasty with lots of variety. The mad cow restaurant was really incredible but is slightly overpriced, it’s very expensive comparatively speaking to other restaurants in the area. It’s on the higher end and more like Singaporean prices. The main restaurant on the ground floor is more reasonable and is worth the money for sure.We had an issue with our room, there was a strong smell from the drains which can happen in tropical climates but the hotel rectified the situation and upgraded us to a beautiful villa at no extra charge. It was so nice and we were very happy there. The beach is very nice and well maintained

Only issue is the location. It’s very close to the airport which is great but the surrounding area is pretty rundown and lots is abandoned developments. You can travel around very easily to sunset town or to Phu Quoc main town but you will have to take taxis. If you have smaller kids, there is nowhere to go other than the resort within walking distance. If you’re ok with taking taxis then this is a very good option as it’s one of the best resorts on the island.

The hotel is beautiful, and so is the beach. It offers all the essential services a tourist might need, and the swimming pool is spacious and clean. The hotel also boasts lovely views from multiple angles. The staff are wonderful, helpful, and always welcoming to guests. he island, overall, is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful beaches, with a variety of activities and tourist attractions to enjoy. The hotel features a tour desk that assists guests in arranging different excursions and experiences, making it easier to explore the area. The Vietnamese people are friendly and warmly welcome visitors. Breakfast was good, but it would be even better if it included options that cater to guests from outside Asia, such as those from the Middle East, Arab Countries, and Europe.

It would be even better if there were stronger English language proficiency among the team, as this would greatly enhance communication and improve the overall guest experience. The beach could benefit from more attention in terms of cleanliness. Additionally, some of the tours organized by the hotel’s tour desk do not adequately follow proper safety procedures. There should be a minimum standard of safety measures and equipment in place to ensure smooth and secure access for visitors to and from boats and marine attractions. I booked a boat trip but wasn’t able to participate in many of the activities due to the lack of proper safety measures and the difficulty of moving to and from the boats. The hotel is located quite far from the island’s main tourist attractions — possibly over 30 minutes by car — but it is conveniently close to the airport. Additionally, the hotel rates are relatively high compared to other hotels of a similar standard that offer better proximity to key tourist sites.

Breakfast spread was excellent in variety. The main pool is large, and there are separate kids pool and water play areas, in addition to the beach bar pool. We also stayed in a 'cabana' room so had excess to our own semi private pool. Staff were always happy to assist and there is a buggy setvice to your room from the main lobby.

I liked everything about my stay and amenities.

I did not like the demeanor of the shuttle driver. I didn't like the fact that we were dropped off very far from the large night market where we were exhausted when we arrived.

Staffs were attentive, good breakfast, beach was beautiful

They claimed we got upgraded, but one of the rooms had water leaking from ceiling, another room was not supposed to be rented out as the bathroom slide door was missing. There was blood on the blanket cover in my friend’s room. We wonder if the housecleaning staffs change the bedding whenever guests check out.

Since I requested room decoration service before check-in, the online customer service was very efficient and responded to my questions promptly. We truly appreciated the service attitude of Thang, the golf cart driver within the resort. We thoroughly enjoyed this holiday.

Super friendly and helpful staff. A very good breakfast. The rooms are well equipped, the beds are large and comfy.

The boats park next to the hotel beach, causing a thin film on the water surface plus black spots on the sand. Not pleasant to swim in the sea.

Great facilities and comfortable rooms. The sunloungers by the pool were extremely comfortable and it was great to have bikes available to use. Buffet breakfast was sublime, best we’ve ever had. Our check in experience was unfortunately quite soured by a gentleman that took to immediately abruptly questioning us to sign up to Accor program, without any level of detail on what it was, questioning us about why we did not have a credit card and that using our debit card to make purchases is risky at the hotel. Nothing was explained in any level of detail and left us not confident at all in anything we were responding to. This whole experience left us extremely uncomfortable and honestly quite shaken especially after just arriving in a foreign country. All other staff members were extremely pleasant however for a 5 star resort, staff directly engaging with guests should be able to communicate with basic English. The young gentleman working in the breakfast area, believe his name is Loo, always had the most welcoming smile on his face. He should be commended for how he makes other guests feel. Recommend the resort adds more shuttles to the town.

First of all the whole hotel looks old, with weird room design. You have the toilet and the shower in the room without the full door, which feels like a private washroom inside the room, plus the lack of intimacy.Other than that the hol ways of the building close to the pool and garden are not clean at all.The main issue was with the mold in the room and a heavy smell because of that which made our stay terrible. We asked for a room change the date we arrived, but we got an air refresherner machine which stopped working during the night. The second day they offered another room but in the same building type and had the same smell, so didn’t make sense to move. After that we received in the room a humidifier, which help a bit to breathe better but the smell was still there. And I saw after that other ppl complained and they blame the island humidity, but we were on other hotel in Phu Quoc which didn’t have this issue, so I think is an issue with the whole building and is not property maintained or cleaned. Also one day after the room was cleaned actually looked more dirtier, the sync and toilet was actually dirtier afterwards.Plus the prices on bar and restaurant have western prices, but the service is far from that, and you are being charged extra for the service, where for example on the beach bar I payed 10 euros for 2 young cold coconut and I picked and was not even delivered on the beach.Breakfast needs more vegetarian options.Very disappointed and not close to a 5 star hotel, and will not choose Pullman anymore from now on.The only good thing was the beach area because was quiet and not that crowded.

Amazing facilities Great breakfast buffet variety Has everything you need

Restaurants and beverage including day day is extremely expensive, paying equivalent to Australian prices if not more Quite remote, not walking distance to any attractions

Love everything about the hotel...from the room to the swimming pool. The staff were friendly and courteous and speak good English. They also surprised my husband on his birthday with a cake delivered to the room. We love the clean hotel grounds with the beach. There were also free bicycles for rent and a nice cycling path at the beachfront. The hotel also provides free shuttle bus to the airport and downtown to Duong Dong. Breakfast spread was lovely and we love the freshly cut mangoes every morning. We also had lunch at the hotel, generous portion with complimentary bread. The location is about 15 minutes from town, so you get the quietness of the island with the hustle and bustle a Grab car away. Would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers especially those with young children...the pool is so huge and there was a bubble party at the pool on Saturday.

The resort is spacious and nicely maintained. It is quiet and pleasant. The beach is very nice and has quiet zones. The rooms are spacious, although quite poorly furnished (no desk, bedside tables or chest of drawers. The bathroom is well-equipped, although the cosmetics are very average. The food is ok, although the staff is not very helpful due to their limited English. The prices of the hotel and food are very good for a 5* resort, although of course quite high for Vietnam. If you want to relax in a resort, in my opinion this is a good choice in good price.

    1. From the outside, the hotel building looks depressing.2. The hotel management is average, many things are done to make it convenient for the employees and not the guests. An example was the notorious early ending of meals, lying to customers so that they don't do something (we don't have any mangoes anymore - although they were cleared away in the back 1 minute earlier and 15 minutes before the end of breakfast). Another example: if you want to drink coffee by the pool - go to the bar. And if you are in the pool bar, go to another bar, etc.Other examples of negligence include waking up several times (yes!) at 9am to clean the room, and then not cleaning it until 4pm. So either you adapt to service, or you will have a mess in the room. 3. At 22 the hotel only operates the bar downstairs. If you want to eat something you can use the room service where there are 6 dishes to choose from. Unfortunately there is no "western" food like hamburger or salad. If you have kids - you have a problem.

Big resort, huge pool, great facilities for kids, nice and clean beach. The meals at Salt and Pepper were delicious.

A few of the receptionists were curt and unfriendly (but others were helpful).

Beautiful layout, clean rooms , delicious food at breakfast buffet, super yummy cocktails, very nice staff

I like the environment, airport shuttle bus transfer provided, tip top service from housekeeping, reception, waiter and each of every staff especially Hoc (medical practitioner), who assisted us to bring my child that sprained her leg to nearby medical center for further checked up, where helped us to translate from A-Z.

    Communication still a big challenge.
