Stinky smell in the lobby and elevatorRoom cleaning Overpriced

Everything was as expected. Villa was spacious and clean.

The stairs are wooden, yet the last step to ground floor is marble same colour and material as the floor serve as camouflage. 4 out of 5 guests almost trip / fell as we did not expect there is one more step. The fifth guest did not have problem because she did not have to use the stairs.

The property by itself generally was good: perfect location, very good facilities…But everything can be ruined by incompetent maintenance and management. Currently the Hotel doesn’t correspond five stars Hotel. My rating to the Hotel is maximum three stars (I stayed at many Hotels around the world rated from two to five stars and have a good experience for the evaluation).

Before I describe disadvantages I have to note that all the personnel were kind and friendly to us, there was nothing upsetting from staff behavior or something like this , but they were doing their job inappropriately and reasons for this could be (my POV):1/ staff wasn’t trained in accordance with high five stars requirements and because of this their performance was not at high level (they just did not know how it should be), or…2/ managers did not teach and train their stuff appropriately, or3/ managers did not monitor their staff as required …I paid 74 000 000 VND (2800 USD) for a regular room for 6 nights. It’s very big money in Vietnam and faced:- room was not cleaned: dirty floor, the carpet was not vacuumed, balcony glass doors were dirty and all in prints ( this was I didn’t expect from five stared Hotel, we were highly upset by the first impression )- Air Conditioning split system probably was not cleaned for a long time and air coming out of it had a heavy unpleasant smell (five star?)- a manager didn’t want change the room for us even after my several requirements, he promised a deep cleaning and they partially did it (five star?) Other days the cleaning was acceptable but on the day before check out again not (smell from old dirty mop)- the cabinet under the kitchen sink emitted a stench every time it was opened- outside the room in the corridor the floor was cleaned but with old smelling mop and daily I could see the same pieces of litter especially in near the elevators- transfer bus to airport : good but dirty and dusty windows and curtains that are probably not washed since the bus was released- buffet : dinner -not to many options and the price for this was overstated / breakfast -not bad but not wow…. I could continue more and more , many details that can give You understanding that quality is not at the announced levelAnd a final blow to our impression: outside every evening about 9 p.m.

It started with no hot water for 1 day, broken telefon in our villa nr 19 which means I had to walk to the main lobby each time I wanted to report a problem- nota bene it wasn't fixed. I tried twice and finally gave up. The safe in one room didn't have a battery, so we couldn't open it. 3 of us tried to log into the website following the steps we were given, but it didn't work. With no possibility to really browse the website, we didn't know there was a shuttle bus, free of charge, taking guests from and to the airport.In front of the lobby of villas, there was a woman who looked like she organized taxi for the guests. I approached her and asked for the transport to the airport. She said I needed two taxis for the 5 of us. Didn't mention it was free. We ended up paying 700.000 for the free transport. I wonder why the hotel allows it. However, with all these problems, our villa was really good and we had a very good time there.

Shower in the village pool? The top floor restaurant has a lot if potential . Needs a better management. Maybe a green salad option ?

We would like to share our experience honestly, as we encountered an unusually long delay during the check-in process, which took nearly three hours before we were able to access our room. Unfortunately, the hotel staff did not clarify the check-in procedures or the expected waiting time in advance, which caused significant inconvenience after a long journey.In addition, the overall service was very slow, and some staff members appeared visibly frustrated in front of guests, which did not reflect a welcoming or professional atmosphere.Moreover, the location of the resort was not suitable for us, and the food quality did not meet our expectations. For instance, the pasta was undercooked despite requesting it to be well cooked.We hope these comments will be taken into consideration, and that improvements will be made to enhance the guest experience in line with the hotel’s standards and reputation.

The property was clean and big.

The location is not perfect. There is nothing nearby. And everyplace seems far.

Breakfast was very good. The playroom was great for kids and the staff were very helpful and engaged.

The whole place is very big. The pools, gym and beach are all great and the breakfasts are generally awesome with a lot of choices. The staff are helpful too.

We are here to play golf, so the location is pretty convenient. But if you care for other water sports, it will be more convenient to stay in the South Island.

Nice facilities with good service. Big rooms with excellent beds and breathtaking views from balcony. Excellent breakfast with great customer service.

Absolutely terrible smell coming from somewhere. It started every evening and smelled like an animal dump. Very strong and disgusting. Smell was hovering everywhere in premises. Not inside the room, though.

Check-in was extremely slow. Over an hour to finish. They also couldn't find my reservation at first. Took another 10mins to make some calls to finally find my booking.

Beautiful hotel! I enjoyed the beach. It was clean and I love the beach service. The hotel has a really good food choices as well, for those of us who don’t eat pork or beef. My most fav part was the visit to the Spa. I had 2 amazing massages!

I had a pleasant day add this hotel. Everything was really comfy. The food was really delicious. The staff are really friendly unhelpful. I find it worthy to mention that I had what seemed like an upset stomach and the staff were really helpful and they offered a nurse to evaluate me.

Quiet place away from town centre, however there is a regular free bus service that stops just outside the hotel, on the main road.Free shuttle bus provided to and from the airport.The superior room with sea view was spacious, and the balcony was awesome. The only minor inconvenience was the quick pooling of water in the shower cubicle during baths.Awesome breakfast with slight variations every day and a wide spread.The pool was clean and big.Buggy service available to the beach.Lots of free activities throughout the day.Staff are polite, approachable, and helpful all around.Will definitely return.
