Fantastic location, just a bit out of the noisy area. Nice room and bathrooms. Staff were friendly and there’s a nice outdoor area and small pool.

A loud generator turned on one night but I think that was because of power outage.

No breakfast

Room 204 was poorly maintained. Black mold were visible in the ceiling, ac, and bathroom. Strong musty ,bleach smell and chemical that made us dizzy and bad headaches all night. Avoid, find another place.

Since we left right after the check in, they gave us back half of the money we payed for the stay.

The property was not like you can see in the pictures, at least in our experience. When we arrived, at 7PM, there was no receptionist but only the security guard (which besides the language barrier was really sweet). We immediately noticed that the pool was empty (I know there has been a big flood in the area recently, but this incovenience has not been advised). The reception itself, and the staircase to the rooms (no elevator) was really moldy. Once we got to the room, on the second floor so higher than the flood level, we noticed it smelled so much like mold. The walls were moldy in so many points, as well as around the sink and the toilet in the bathroom. The bedsheets were humid and smelly, even stained in some points. The armchairs in the room were very dirty as well, with obvious stains all over. We left 30mins after the check in, and immediately found a better accommodation in the same area. We fully understand the situation with the recent flooding that hit this area of the country, but we also believe the issue we encountered are antecedent to it.

Location is perfect. Short walk to where everything is but just outside enough to be more peaceful

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The location is perfect, just outside the more busy area, so it is more quiet here. The facilities are clean. They provide towels and even gladly change them. I enjoyed the female dorm with a private bathroom. The pool is a great bonus for relaxation.

Cost hotel with warm ospitality and convenient location, central but just outside the more crowded area

Nice spacious room located within easy walking distance of Hoi An ancient town and the night markets. The staff were very helpful accommodating my late check in and delayed flight as well as organising a bike hire and taxis.

Excellent, quiet location with room overlooking the waterway/ canal. View from the room was really good especially early in the morning and at sunset. Only a very short walk to the busy old town centre.The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Situated on the banks of the Hoai River, Hoi An Canal House is within walking distance of all the attractions of the old town, yet in a quiet area. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay.The staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful, helping us rent bicycles and arrange the transfer to our next destination.Upon check-out, they left us a handwritten farewell note with good wishes for our departure, a sign of special care.The breakfast is simple but served with care and still enough to start the day.We really enjoyed our stay here and we recommend it!

Great value hotel with canal views. The room was spacious and well decorated. We were able to walk to most local attractions and the staff were wonderful.

I loved the location and the comfy beds and the staff were so gracious. We were able to rent bikes right there and it is just far enough away from the busy old town

The location of the hotel was perfect - a few minutes walk into the old town, yet just out of the hustle and bustle. The room was lovely - the bed was huge! All of the staff were really cheery and helpful. Brilliant value for money.
