Hoi An Ivy Hotel

With just a bridge separating Hoi An Ancient Town from the hotel, it boasts one of the best locations for travelers looking to spend the majority of their time wandering around the old town. The room was spacious and comfortable to stay in. The front desk was always ready to assist us whenever we needed it, and free bikes were provided for exploring the city. The hotel also gave us a good offer on transport back to Da Nang.

The walls were quite thin, and noises could be heard during the night when someone else checked in.

The staff were extremely helpful! They warmly welcomed us and gave us recommendations for spas and eating. They took care of a couple of minor issues we had very, very quickly - very responsive to our needs. The shower was lovely! The breakfast was delicious! The location was excellent! We had a beautiful view of the river and were only a couple of minutes to Ancient Town. As a parting gift, we received beautiful silk lanterns. Great value for our money! Well worth considering for your travels to Hanoi. Thank you!

Nearer 5min to the ancient town. Easy access to every where. Super clean

Great location and staff. Lisa speaks English and helped us with many questions. The flood happened and the owner and Lisa arranged a boat free of charge to get us to our car driver. Good breakfast also.

We stayed near the Old Town with our family and had a wonderful day. The breakfast was delicious, the value for money was great, and all the staff at the lobby were very friendly. Most of all, I truly appreciate the staff who helped send important documents I had left in the room to my hotel in Da Nang the next day by arranging a car.

There’s a window on top of the shower in the bathroom that’s left opened, which we could not close. Not sure if the main purpose is for ventilation but it let the heat and bugs in. We had to close the bathroom door the whole time so the AC won’t escape. It was very uncomfortable using the bathroom since it was really hot in there with that window open, not to mention loud noise from the outside. The lobby and breakfast area did not have AC or even fan ventilation. It’s really stuffy to sit in their waiting area.

Free use of bike was a plus factor, but we would have loved the ride around town if the bikes were in better condition.

The room was spacious and very clean. Looked like the photos. Great location, and the receptionist (Julia) was lovely. Would stay here again!

Due to proximity to the lake and night festivities, it can be a tad noisy at night, didn’t bother me though, as it is to be expected.

The room was really bright because there’s a glass wall between the bed and bath and when the sun comes up before 6, the room is flooded with light

The hotel location is near by old town about 5mins walk. At night the location is good at looking for something to eat. The staffs are friendly

-The location is near old town this there is also noisy at night with the car horn noise.-The smell of cigarette smoke entered my room due to other guests smoking. The hotel should implement a strict smoking policy or clearly separate smoking and non-smoking floors. I had to sleep with the smell of smoke all night, even though I had already informed the front desk. They told me the hotel does have a smoking policy, but in the end, both I and the elderly person staying with me had to sleep with a cloth covering our noses all night because the smoke from other rooms entered ours. It was clearly not coming from outside the hotel, as there was no smell at all when we stood on the balcony.

Great location for old town with really helpful staff, could not do enough for you.Only down side was location for noise if you are a light sleeper on a night time from noisy bars from other side of water

Walking distance to hoi an village Close to everything Breakfast was good with change in items but small .Even give me iron to use .

The staff were really friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice and clean.

Unfortunately and no fault of the hotel there was very loud music just outside the window in the carpark until 12:30 at night each night we were there. We had ear plugs but could still hear the music.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Breakfast is nice. I am sorry i forgot the name but the guy who makes breakfast took good care of us. Very humble and always smiling. Other staff including the ones on the reception was really warm and welcoming. Location is good, not too noisy, neither too far from old town. Lots of nice eatieris around. Hotel provided free bicycle to explore, loved it. They also provide motorbikes on rental.

Small stuff here and there but they immediately took care of it so no complaints. Keep the good work on guys :)

The room was big and had a balcony, clean too

The room had nothing sound proof about it, the noise from outside was so loud and you could hear bars playing very loud music that even ear plugs couldn’t block until about 1 am every night. The double bed was also 2 single beds pushed together and had a very uncomfortable middle separating them

Very close to main location , walking distance to Hoi An Market.

The bathroom towels were torn and since our room was on ground next to kitchen and breakfast area , too noisy in the mornings and loud talks can be heard. The AC Is the room was being turned on and off disrupting sleep .

Breakfast was basic and omelettes uncooked after two attempts . It was ok but basic

This hotel is so convenient to all the sights and shopping. It's such a perfect location.and Lisa the receptionist was so helpful and kind.
