Close to old town this is a great resort, excellent facilities and outstanding staff that make your experience wonderful.

The property was amazing as well as our room. Hoang assisted us with everything we needed at all times and hours! He was absolutely amazing. We will definitely go back and enjoyed everything thoroughly.

The adult only pool allowed children, which was not supposed to be the case.

My stay at La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa was absolutely superb. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. The spa, the gym, and the Temple Restaurant were all amazing and beautifully maintained.The breakfast buffet was truly outstanding—one of the best I have experienced during my entire Vietnam visit. It offered an excellent variety of both international and local dishes, all fresh and delicious. Dinner at the Temple Restaurant was also of a very high level, with great quality food and a lovely atmosphere.A special thanks to the receptionist, Hang Nguyen, who made our stay even more memorable. Her warm welcome, detailed introduction to the hotel facilities, and wonderful recommendations for things to do in Hoi An were truly appreciated. She was professional, kind, and extremely helpful.I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Hoi An and looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional service.

Wow, where can I start. From the time we walked into the hotel till the time we left everyone was fantastic. Yes we had rain, lots of rain, so much that we went in the back door as the front was blocked. A problem?? No not with this amazing staff. They had all our stuff and my wife and I safely inside past the water. Hoi An had been hit very hard the previous 3 weeks with water issues. But this hotel staff were some of the best I’ve ever seen. The doorman, the front desk, the concierge, restaurant staff, house keeping and maintenance staff were happy, professional, warm and they could not do enough for you. Hang Nguyen was a big contact for us everyday and yes she was everywhere, in the front, at the restaurant making reservations for tours, an outstanding representative of your hotel. As were every single person we met. I wish I had all the names but we felt like family with the both restaurants staffs. I mean it they treated my wife and I like family!! Every single one of them. My wife also said the spa staff were exceptional, and went there numerous times. If I needed something from housekeeping it was there before I hung up the phone. Now keep in mind these folks had been flooded, closed, and cleaned up the entire hotel weeks before and here they were as happy as can be. This resort is located on the edge of the Old Town — take a Grab taxi if the day is too hot. Our room in the "Classical" section was a bit disappointing, with no view and situated very close to a service room, which caused some noise during the morning hours. However, the rest of the facilities were excellent. The staff were very attentive and provided great service throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the infinity pool, the outstanding spa, and the breakfast served at the Club Lounge, where we were generously upgraded. Be sure to visit the nearby Cao Dai Temple — a truly fascinating experience!

Great facility just on the outskirts of Hoi an. Given it was so busy at the Historic Old Town we were very happy with the choice. Couldn't fault, room was amazing, spacious and clean, staff friendly and helpful with tips (excellent referral to a tailor and to the "memories" show.)

From the moment we arrived, La Siesta Hotel offered an experience that went well beyond expectations. The property blends timeless Caribbean charm with modern luxury in a way that feels both elegant and welcoming. Every corner of the hotel—from the architecture to the landscaping—radiates warmth and character.The service here is nothing short of outstanding. A special mention to Huang at the reception—he welcomed us with a warm smile and sincere hospitality, offering excellent insights and suggestions on how to explore Hoi An. His kindness, professionalism, and personal attention truly elevated our first impression. Throughout our stay, the service across all departments—from the restaurant to the pool—was consistently excellent.Travelling with three young children, including an infant, is never easy. But La Siesta made it feel effortless. Everything is thoughtfully designed with families in mind—spacious rooms, accessible amenities, and a genuinely welcoming attitude toward kids. Our children had a wonderful time, and as parents, that made all the difference.The hotel carries a unique atmosphere—calm, character-rich, and inviting. The mix of tropical greenery, tasteful design, and calming colours gives the place a relaxed, resort-style feel. It’s luxurious but not stiff, and that balance creates the perfect space to unwind.We experienced a small technical issue with the air conditioning on our first night, but what stood out was how efficiently and graciously the staff handled it. Without us having to insist or follow up, they upgraded our room and ensured everything was resolved. That kind of proactive hospitality is rare and worth highlighting.Though La Siesta is officially a 4-star hotel, in our view, it surpasses many 5-star properties we’ve experienced. The attention to detail, the service culture, and the family-first approach make it our favourite hotel in Vietnam so far. My personal rating: 7 stars.

As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry and continues to evaluate service quality critically, I must say there was nothing I truly disliked about La Siesta Hoi An. However, from the lens of inclusivity and global guest experience, I would offer the following suggestions for improvement—especially to enhance the stay of Muslim travellers and those with dietary restrictions:1. More Halal-Friendly Options:While the breakfast spread and restaurant offerings were generous and high quality, I recommend adding clearly labelled halal options—or at least separating pork-based dishes more clearly. Placing seafood right next to ham and pork may unintentionally exclude observant Muslim guests from enjoying those offerings.2. Expanded Vegetarian & Seafood Varieties:For guests who follow plant-based or pescatarian diets (either for religious or health reasons), a few more creative vegetarian and seafood options on the menu could make a big difference. Especially in a country with such rich culinary traditions, it’s a missed opportunity not to showcase more of Vietnam’s vegetarian-friendly dishes.These are small details in an otherwise superb experience, but they reflect a commitment to inclusive, thoughtful hospitality—something La Siesta already excels at and can elevate even further.

The pool choices, they had a children’s pool and an adults only pool. The gardens were spectacular and the staff so friendly and helpful.

I loved everything.

The guest relations manager, Hoang, went out of his way to support our stay. He even offered to upgrade our room for free. This was the second time I'd stayed at La Siesta Hoi An and I will definitely be back.

Sometimes staff could have done more to prevent parents from bringing their children into the infinity pool, which was not designed for them.

The location was great - very near downtown but also nice that it was a little away from the hustle. We loved the pools and the easy shuttle to the beach club

I wish the shuttle to the beach club and downtown ran a few more times throughout the day

The menu dining for vietnamese cuisine at Red Bean was excellent and great value for money. The Temple restaurant was elegant and the swing seating next to the pool was amazing.

Perhaps a little further from Hoi An old town but this was not a deal breaker for us.

Amazing property and 5 star service. Yoongi, the concierge, was an absolute Gem. She was so kind and amazing!!! Loved every moment at La Siesta!

Beautiful resort, hidden away but close to everything. Wonderful service and amenities. Appreciated no-kids pool. Bath tub was huge and amazing. Wonderful concierge service.

Some mosquitos, not a big deal. “Upgraded” breakfast almost identical to other breakfast option.

What an incredible resort. I was blown away by the hospitality of the staff, the resort amenities, and food options. They offer free bikes to ride into the town as well as some free shuttles into Hoi An. I was very impressed by the size of the room and the cleanliness of the overall facility. I will definitely return!

Nothing to dislike here. Maybe make sure that the children stay in the children's pool, not the adult pool.

I did about a half load of laundry but it cost more than $16. I should have doubled checked my math before … laundry across the resort is only $1 usd for 2 kg of laundry

everything was amazing! the staff, the food, the rooms and the pools! we loved it all. i actually think it was one of the best hotels ive ever stayed at.

We stayed for 3 nights at the La Siesta Hoi An. The property is breathtakingly beautiful and surrounded by greenery. The food was delicious and the spa so magical we ended up returning for a second time while there. Service was also exceptional and the staff was so warm — an extra big shout out to Hang, who went above and beyond for us. We will absolutely be staying here again the next time we’re in Hoi An. Can’t wait!!
