Sunshine Hoian Hotel

It was my 4th stay at sunshine and I will be returning again next year the breakfast is fantastic all the hotel staff will go the extra mile for you it's location is perfect 10 mins walk to the old town and approximately 20 mins walk to the paddy fields and han bang beach I would 100 percent recommend the sunshine hotel

We found the hotel and staff perfect, friendly and very helpful. The only down side was could not direct the shower head

Beds were a little hard and could of done with another pillow on the bed. Bathroom also had a funny smell

A bit far from town once you’ve walked it 4-5 times. A lot of traffic noise.

nice hotel and friendly and helpful staff, location was a little further out of the town than expected but in easy walking distance or minimal taxi ride. The pool was ideal and we made use of this facility most mornings. The provision of free bicycles to use was a nice surprise and with both beach and town within a 20 min cycle ride gave an added flexibility to the stay, the room was a comfortable size and had a good view over the pool.

unfortunately the street light outside were on through the night and the curtains didn't block this out, plus the sliding doors were only single glazed so outside noise passed through although this was only really a concern early morning when vehicles were up and down the road. The main disappointment was the limited choice for breakfast with food confined to bread, rice, cereal, eggs or fruit which was a challenge for my partners dietary requirements and not the amazing spread that other posts had remarked. because we were one of only three guests staying on the first couple of days, we were asked to choose our breakfast for the following day and although the staff did try to accommodate my partners needs the limited choice made it challenging.

Excellent hotel with swimming pool , large comfortable room with bath and shower . Very efficient air conditioning ! Reception staff were helpful and very friendly ! Free bicycles

The hotel is situated in a quiet area of town, yet it's close to the old town and tourist attractions. You can easily walk to the old town from the hotel in about 15 minutes. The rooms are basic but provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of this hotel is the staff; they are very polite and helpful.

The cleanliness could have been more thorough, furnitures are getting aged and needs replacement.

Great swimming pool.Filtered water available on tap.Walking distance to Ancient town. Free use of bicycles. Chung at reception very helpful with booking private vehicle or taxi. Clean and comfortable.

Small fridge died, but was replaced promptly. Breakfast satisfactory, but limited choice due to low season occupancy.

The staff were fabulous- couldn’t do enough for us- always so helpful, chatty and caring. The swimming pool was a treat after a hot day and the breakfasts were divine!

This is a very nice hotel.Great location,easy access to restaurants, beach and Old Town.Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has everything you need! Lovely breakfast, pool, rooms and the staff were so lovely. They organised us a car to and from the airport which was really helpful. There are free bikes that you can use or they can help you rent a motorbike. Definitely recommend staying here!

The staff were so friendly and did so much to help us have a wonderful stay. They catered to our every need and were so polite and prompt in answering any queries. We were offered help booking taxis, luggage storage and use of the facilities even on the day after checking out.

Any minor issues were resolved so quickly - nothing to fault at all!

Large Room with balcony overlooking the pool. Free bicycles to ride beach or to Ancient Tourist Town. Many markets close by. Extremely filling breakfast with choice of different country foods. Many restaurants within few blocks of hotel, meals us$5-10. Free fast internet and TV with many channels. But the best was the staff, who constantly caring and asking how they could make my stay more pleasant.

I couldn't really fault anything. Especially considering exception value for the money.

We got upgraded to a room with a balcony which was lovely. Beautiful pool and helpful staff. Great location with access to the beach and ancient city. The free bikes were nice for a ride to the beach.

Since it was low season, there was no breakfast buffet. Pillow case had stain on it and sheet had small hole in it.

Staff Phuong & Yen on reception both so helpful & friendly , rooms have ceiling fan.

The breakfast was good, with variety of fruits and eggs. No continental style. The pool was nice and the fact that we could take bikes free of charge to ride to the beach/city center

Although it was easy to go from there to the beach (2 km), the hotel is a little bit far from the city center if you plan to go by walking (20-25min). But it’s doable

Second time at Sunshine Hotel, and it's still top-notch. The spacious, airy rooms outshine any other place I've stayed. Breakfast here is a highlight. The flan dessert at breakfast stole my spotlight. A must-try for anyone visiting. The staff and hotel owner are so welcoming. If you need a tip on where to dine like a local, just ask them. Thanks to their awesome suggestions, I had the best meals in Hoi An.My trip was truly fantastic! Sunshine Hotel will be my first choice if I come back to Hoi An again.

The highlight is the pool – it's expansive and clean. I start my mornings there, and finding it incredibly fresh.The hotel's breakfast buffet is fantastic. They offer a wide range of dishes, and the staff are really friendly and attentive.The hotel's proximity to the ancient town makes it extremely convenient for getting around. We take advantage of the complimentary bicycles provided by the hotel to explore the sights every afternoon.
