ENSO Retreat Hoi An - Rediscovery & Serenity

Amazing place! Ideal for relax, still couple of minutes away from Hoi An old city (the hotel provides shuttle). In a middle of coconut/ bamboo forest, right next ti the river.

Beautiful grounds. Polite and accommodating staff. Pool was cold but clean, and if it wasn’t rainy in the winter I’m sure we’d have been swimming all the time. Restaurant was easy and food tasted good, but expensive compared to similar restaurants in the old town—the price of convenience. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Location was outside of town but very peaceful, and we either rented motorbikes for flexibility or took the ENSO shuttle to and from town.

great food, clean, lovely setting, spa was good for massage, hot showers, friendly concierge who gave us recommendations and liased with local suppliers for bike rentals.

Location is a bit far from things... but grab is convenient and grab food options are there

We went the hotel for a big family holiday, 4 adults and 2 children. The hotel was fantastic. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Staff was very caring, helpfull and polite. The breakfast was very satisfying for an Asian country hotel. SPA was wonderful, in 4 days we took two times massage and they were both amazing. They helped us for everything, all the tours, transfers and the prices were very efficient, almost the same with the other companies.We highly recommend the hotel. It was beyond our thoughts.

The soap and shampoo had a different smell,but when we mentioned about it they apologized several times.There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything we needed. They upgraded our room for free and even arranged a perfect workspace inside the room, which made our stay especially comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, and we truly appreciated the warm atmosphere throughout our stay. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our time here wonderful.

Tranquil retreat in a bamboo forest with attentive service from Phung and the staff, who go above and beyond. The clean, well-equipped resort features a pool, gym, billiards, free bikes to explore the nearby coconut forest, and a free shuttle to Hoi An town. The comfortable rooms have relaxing porches, and breakfast is delicious. Phung gave us excellent recommendations that made our stay even better. Great value for relaxation and convenience.

The room was very large and comfortable. The staff are so kind and accommodating. We loved being able to message them directly for any question we had using WhatsApp.

This is a very small thing and not the property’s fault but the road outside is very busy and difficult to walk or bike, especially if you have young children

Quiet location, clean, impeccable grounds, beautiful flowers, nice pools.

Noisy family in the same villa as me, had to change room. Was being charged for items missing from the old room. Ni was able to get it sorted out. Asked for scrambled eggs at breakfast and was acknowledged but eggs never came. Had to ask again.

From booking, transportation services, to special dietary requests, to enjoyable conversations I can't express how wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable my stay was with them. I enjoyed the location immensely. I was looking for quiet and peace and I found it here. I have been to Hoi An before, and chose not to stay close to Old Town. I was specifically looking for relaxation and quiet, and I found it here. It wasn't far from the beach and was an easy ride by motorbike. I found a great coffee shop a five minute walk away and went every day after breakfast. The food was good with a nice mix of local food and western choices. Old Town was a 15 minute motorbike ride away, and there were many good places to eat along the way. I was less than a 5 minute ride to rent a coconut boat and guide for a fun afternoon. Da Nang is a thirty minute ride by car, and I visited My Son, which was maybe an hour away. So much culture, history, and beauty to see.

There wasn't an aspect of this stay that I didn't like.

Very peaceful retreat hotel away from the downtown crowds with beautiful gardens

Lovely place for a family with little kids to stay for a few days. We enjoyed the gym facilities, the pools, the dinner service at the pool and the restaurant. The staff were very kind and helpful. It is a short bike ride from town and even shorter by grab or free shuttle bus. Would absolutely recommend it!

Our family enjoyed everything about this property, from the staff and food to the other families we meet and the ability to book/reserve everything through the front desk. Can't wait for our next trip back!

We loved our 6 nights here, a little gem. The staff were so smiley, helpful and welcoming. We borrowed the free bikes and rode to Ang Bang beach through paddy fields. The free shuttle to beautiful Hoi An town is fab and quick, we used this everyday. The breakfast was wonderful and had everything you could want. The pools were amazing and strangely mostly empty while we were there during UK Easter holidays. The room was all we could have wanted, rustic and luxury in one somehow. I had a small incident while there and the staff took the most amazing care of me, they went above and beyond and I will always remember their kindness and warmth. I hope so much to return one day.

Location wasn’t super close to the Centre, so we always need to grab a taxi / use the shuttle.

Its very clean and calm. Perfect to relax. Breakfast was super delicious and varied.

Such a beautiful location with the most amazing service. Staff remember everything about you and make sure you have the most comfortable experience. My family is vegetarian and staff presented us with a separate veg menu every morning without us even introducing ourselves. Will definitely be back if we’re back in Hoi An!Special shoutout to Ly for being so lovely!The bike rides (free to borrow) through the rice paddies is a must!

More frequent shuttle services to hoi a town and back would be better (although still easy to get a quick 15min Grab into town)

A really relaxing place to stay away from the chaos of old town or the beach. Great for spending some time relaxing by the pool, which there are three of them (you can use any pool if you find one too busy). The staff were also super friendly and helpful (we loved the emojis in our WhatsApp chats with them). We also had a number of massages here. While the Spa was more expensive than ones off the street, the staff were skilled, the massages consistently good and it is so very convenient.Hot tip: explore the local area by bike (free to borrow) or on foot (early morning or late afternoon runs).

The local meal options from the restaurant could be a little more flavoursome. We felt that they may have been made a little too bland to accommodate some westerners' lack of good taste (saying this as a westerner). However, we mostly ate elsewhere (Phat Loc Eco Cooking was our favourite nearby).
