    • What can I say- they could teach other establishments how to pumper their guests. Their service was fantastic! From the first moment to the last, everything was impeccable: they made sure they remembered our names, they remembered who had what type of allergy and assisted us every morning to point out dishes we could or could not eat, pretty much they tried to anticipate our needs!
    • The whole experience at the Saga was fantastic. For the price you pay, it exceeded expectations. Breakfast and coffee were great. The location is good, a reasonable walk or inexpensive grab taxi to the old town. The shuttle bus and bicycles are included and a great addition. The staff were lovely and accomodating. From my first phone call to get assistance in changing our airport pickup time (due to an earlier flight), to them making a special fuss for my daughters birthday, nothing was too much.
    • Our experience at The Saga Hotel in Hoi An was truly exceptional! We stayed for 3 weeks and felt like we were saying goodbye to family at the end of our time. The shining highlight of this property is the staff. Everyone - from senior management to reception, food service, housekeeping, grounds and security - is warm, welcoming, skilled, enthusiastic, and good at what they do. This hotel stands out in every aspect, and as full-time nomadic travelers we have stayed in many hotels.Being located outside the central Old City was ideal. We could walk or shuttle into town easily. Go the other way and you are in the rice paddies or at the beach. The hotel's free rental bikes made exploring easy and fun. And, as good as the hotel food offerings are, there are dozens of local restaurants nearby to sample. We visited many of them, found a few favorites, and still barely made a dent in the extensive list of options. We also took a walking food tour (several local companies and online resources like Viator offer them), where we learned about (and ate lots of) Vietnamese cuisine. If you haven't tried banh mi by the time you leave, you've missed out!The hotel has a beautiful pool, a great restaurant (and a separate bar area with weekend music), and a decent gym. There is even a spa onsite, although pricing is a bit higher than the hundreds of local options nearby and in town. We were thrilled with our experience here, sad to say farewell to our 'hotel family' and eager to return.

    Cons -

    • Nothing- we even had umbrellas in our rooms in case we needed them.
    • I can't think of anything. It was excellent value for money

Location, facilities, but most of all the friendliness and constant attention of the staff to even the smallest details to make my stay enjoyable.

    10KongPosted on: 12-25-2025

The property is well kept with lots of greenery. My family has a very comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the staff provides excellent service.

    9PatrickPosted on: 12-12-2025

Staff, breakfast, overall friendliness and comfort. Close to the old town. Little supermarkt Nextdoor (always handy).

Fitness room is of poor quality. Too little weight options and the treadmill was not coping with our weight (65 and 85 kg). WiFi was very slow (2-4 Mbps) and choppy.

Everything, the workers are very nice and caring they made you feel welcome and they gave us good recommendations about tours, restaurants, etc,

Hotel was clean and well appointed and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly

    10CristinaPosted on: 10-4-2025

The hotel is amazing, the pool inviting. We had a room with a mezzanine, as we were 3 adults, and it was great. Breakfast super complete. Gym with good facilities. A few minutes by car from Hoi An center.

    Nothing, was amazing.

Our vacation at The Saga Hotel was a real treat for our family ! We loved the spacious rooms which were beautifully presented. The gym and pool were fantastic and after touring it was wonderful to come back to relax there. The Hotel offered an amazing buffet breakfast and the Restaurant was excellent. We had the most delicious traditional Pho and salmon dish. A special thanks to the Executive chef, Kim Tuan Lee and Tram, the Restaurant Supervisor for looking after us so well. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

    Nothing to dislike!

Absolutely spectacular. From the very gracious check-in process to the beautiful rooms, wonderful pool and breakfast and beautiful elegant feel to it. Most of all the staff were a delight. Quite exceptional staff so friendly and warm and welcoming and helpful. This was my best stay in Vietnam. Thank you so much

The only very small issue was that the water bottles in the room were unsealed and may have been filled from the tap. There was just a sticker over the lid. It might be safer to bring your own water bottles. Hopefully they change this. But otherwise - just an excellent, excellent hotel.

Clean modern rooms very friendly staff , great breakfast highly recommend

    7GiuseppePosted on: 6-20-2025

Great hotel location and staff was very friendly and helpful. Fantastic buffet breakfast.

Upon entering the room inserting the card turning AC on no AC. Call the front desk apparently they have the option to turn off the AC in individual rooms when you leave. So each time I enter the room I had no AC until calling the desk and they switched it back on that I was very unhappy about

It is a small hotel with lovely staff doing their best all the time. They always smile and try to be helpful in every aspect.

Breakfast has many varieties but still needs some alterations for people who stay for a long time. There were waffles every day, could have been replaced by pancakes etc.

    9ArunPosted on: 4-30-2025

Rooms were good size, clean and staff friendly.

Breakfast was ok but can have a better spread for vegetarians. Bathrooms need a bit more space and seperate shower as opposed to bath tub.

    10VanesaPosted on: 4-30-2025

The room was perfect and comfortable, very new and well maintained. Loved the bathroom with the big mirror and all the essentials such a toot brush etc. The staff is lovely and attentive. The hotel provides car transfer to the centre and the beach and pick up times! Also, when booking they give vouchers for things such a free massage. The pool is fantastic, same as the restaurant.

    10AlisonPosted on: 4-30-2025

A lovely boutique hotel situated about a 20 min walk from old town. Our room (double suite) was large enough for an extended stay. They have free shuttles to old town as well as to Ang Bang Beach. The staff are just lovely and caring and are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was also good and the Restaurant has nice meals as well.

The pool was lovely but needs more sun beds and umbrellas as it could get very hot.

    9DerekPosted on: 4-28-2025

This was one of our favorite hotels in Vietnam. The room and pool was fantastic, but it was the staff who made our stay special. They greeted us by name each time with the biggest smiles. Giang seemed ever present to assist us and helped to make my husbands birthday special.

    Not much.
