Long Life Riverside Hotel

Hotel is beautiful but staff is awful. Rooms are moldy and curtains are held in by thin wire. This place is what my father would call a "gold covered turd".

Rude service, hard beds,no trash can in room and lack of even basic maintenance structurally.

The old style ambiance was unique, the big tubs were wonderful to soak in, but...

The room was dusty with bed bugs in one of the beds. The breakfast wasn't fresh with limited options. No true vegetarian options except the sparse fruit choices. The Vietnamese coffee was cold after dripping. We only ate the breakfast the first morning of our 5 night stay. Fortunately, there were plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. We cannot recommend this hotel, and will not be returning.

Location was perfect, room was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. It had that old world look and feeling that made to stay more interesting.

Actually other than a few very minor repairs, all were cosmetic in nature, I have nothing negative about this property.

Location was great. Pool was good. No issues with staff.

Cleanliness was challenged. There was a cockroach in my room. There was very intermittent wifi in my room. There was stuff falling apart in my room that I thought would be easy to fix to make it nicer like the bed side table having 4 legs instead of 3 and wobbling all the time.

The location is perfect

I booked a Family Suite with two beds for three people, expecting a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, on the day we checked in, there was no running water in the room at all. We had to wait for any resolution, and in the end, we were forced to go to another room just to shower. Even basic tasks like brushing teeth or washing our faces became a real hassle. This seriously impacted our experience and made the stay quite inconvenient. I hope the hotel addresses these maintenance issues soon.

Very close to the ancient town. It is great that you can take a nap and go back to the tourist area when the temperature is not that high. They arranged pick up at Danang train station.

The room smell a little bit at beginning, because we asked to change a room, that room was probably empty for some periods.

Management was very accommodating and the hotel was reminiscent of colonial Vietnam although it was not very old.

My family stayed at Long Life Riverside Hotel in Hoi An for three nights. The hotel’s location is excellent, very close

We stayed here for one night in August and booked 4 rooms for our party of 13. We had a great stay and were extremely happy with our rooms, thus the 5 star rating. That said, understand that the hotel itself is not a 5-star establishment. The hotel is extremely well located (a few minutes by foot to the night market and very close to the bridge to the old town), it was perfect for what we wanted. The hotel and rooms are a beautiful mix of charm and modern amenities. The rooms felt like they were authentic to Hoi An's history, with beautiful, old, dark wood and heavy, detailed door handles. The rooms are not pristine (in terms of craftmanship), but they are very clean, comfortable, and offer the creaturely comforts of hot water, modern facilities, good A/C, space, and comfortable bedding. The sitting room furniture is not quite as comfortable though. The service was impeccable, warm, and helpful. Breakfast was really good and offered a bountiful, tasty spread of Vietnamese and international cuisine. The welcome drink was delicious and appreciated by all (it was hot when we visited!). The hotel was also very helpful in terms of helping with transportation. My husband and kids also really enjoyed cooling off in the courtyard pool. Overall, though the hotel is a bit pricier than other options, we felt it was worth it for the comfort, charm, and location. Thank you for a great stay, we look forward to returning in the future and for a longer stay!!

This hotel is in a perfect location: right in the middle of the central riverside old town area. Exactly what we wanted: a quaint, yet comfortable and clean hotel. We were impressed with the appearance and the clean and spacious room; there was ample cupboard space, desks, and power outlets. We absolutely loved the pool. We had a shower as well as a bath. The room had a fridge, kettle (some complimentary tea and coffee as well as bottled water), hairdryer and a safe.

The breakfast was not the best that we have had in Vietnamese hotels, but there was an adequate selection and ample food.

Right on the riverside where boat lanterns are. It was super spacious and the breakfast is great!

Perfect location. Comfortable room. Nice breakfast on offer. Staff even made us a breakfast box for early departure to Ba Na Hills day trip.

Aircon didn’t work, drain in shower didn’t drain. Property was run down

The location was very close to everything we wanted to see. Although it's right amongst some very loud night bars, it was quiet inside. The staff were helpful in booking tours.

The room could do with boockout curtains.

We only booked a room for one night but could easily have stayed for longer. The young male receptionist went out of his way to help us and found us a better room than we had originally booked at no extra cost (the first room did not have any views as advertised). It is a beautiful, Chinese style hotel situated right on the main thoroughfare in the old town, great for walking, boat rides, bars and restaurants. The Japanese bridge is only about 200m away. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would book it again if we ever revisit Hoi An.

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay. The location is perfect. All the excitement and sites are right outside your door. The hotel is beautiful with vietnamese old world charm. The staff were so friendly and kind. The breakfast was much better than I thought it would be...good selection and everything I had was delicious, in my opinion. I will definitely be staying here again!

Excellent Location and very convenient to visit the old town. Lots of food outlets close by and although on busy road the room was quiet.

The breakfast was very limited. The bathroom had no separate door. The toilet and shower were together and this was inconvenient.
