Bad breakfast buffet. Spa closed early. Bad location. Not in the middle of things.

Excellent place, beautiful peaceful grounds, close to old city and practically on the river, exceptionall staff, wonderful breakfast, overall incredible place to stay.

Good breakfast, great location, very quiet.

Breakfast was good. Location wasn’t the best. It’s a long walk to the town.

The pool was out of service unfortunately.

Location on an island in the middle of the river is superb. Wonderful amenities, quiet comfort. Large rooms with verandah/balcony facing the river. Infinity pool is superb and away from the bustle of the crowded front part of the property.

If more of the staff spoke English, it would have felt more comfortable

Beautiful very high standard rooms , good breakfast. The pools are excellent.

A bit far from the down town, only 2 free shuttles to the “city” one way. Anyway , it’s a walking distance of 15 minutes :-)

This was a wonderful location, close to old town. We loved the patio looking out to the river. The park was nice. The spa was top notch. Mr Hoang Vu was the best. He was very helpful and welcoming!

In the isolated small island. It is very beautiful and cmose with natural. The Memories parks and Hoi An show just 1 min walking.

Bar, restaurant at night was limited.

This hotel was an excellent choice. STAFF—Fantastic! General Mgr Mr. Vu patiently responded to several pre-visit inquiries and promptly assisted me with a minor emergency during my visit, even though he had gone home hours earlier. The concierge skillfully advised me on daily activities and transportation options, making everything effortless. Solo, the food and beverage mgr, is so friendly and attentive to guests’ needs and requests.ROOMS and GROUNDS— Very clean, peaceful, well appointed room with balcony that overlooked palm trees and the river. Fragrant Fangipani blossoms shade the walking paths leading from the central pool to the serene infinity pool at the end of the island where I spend much time relaxing in comfy chaise lounges under a shady umbrella while staying well hydrated by the pool bar tender.LOCATION-- Within 10-15 minutes walking distance to the historic old town center, yet the resort is on its own island. This degree of separation provides a perfect buffer of security, reinforced by wonderfully attentive guards who question anybody who crosses the bridge.ENTERTAINMENT-- The island also contains a culturally-focused theme park with an exceptionally high quality theatrical, musical, dance performance 6 nights/week. Resort guests have access to walk around the park for free in the evenings and are treated to “mini shows” that preview the full show later in the evening. Tickets to the full show are discounted for resort guests.OTHER — A free shuttle is available twice daily to transport guests into the old town, although you need to arrange the return taxi (or walk) yourself. Spa has an ample menu of indulgent treatments. Well-stocked mini-bar.

Only area i would like to see up-leveled a bit is the breakfast buffet.

The staff and hotel were outstanding. The rooms are huge! The free bicycles were awesome and made getting around fun.

The food at the restaurant could be improved, especially the lunch and dinner food was not that delicious. Also the hotel needs to provide more water in the rooms to drink. It's so hot that two small bottles per room is not enough for the day.

Beautiful resort, incredibly welcoming and very unique as it is the whole island. Staff are very kind and attentive, the room is clean and the bathroom is the best I have experienced while travelling.

Spacious, good breakfast, helpful staff, a little away from the busy streets to make it quieter. Good pool. We had the two storey cabin which gives two bedrooms, living room and dining area. More room than we even needed!

Main pool needs some shade before 4pm.

Everything was great Breakfast, Location, Pools and especially the staff so i like to say thanks to Hoang who organised airport transfers at a good rate and was always in contact with me leading up to the trip, Jenny at reception was always there to help with a smile and Solo in the restaurant who always looked after us at breakfast and also a thank you to all other staffWill be trying to get back in the near future

The resort was absolutely magical, it was so nice quiet and relaxing yet so close to the hussle and bustle of the old town. The two pools were so relaxing and the gardens were lovely. Our room was huge and very comfortable.The manager Hoang Duc Vu was so attentive and recommend some great trips and tailors in the area. He set up the room for us for my partners birthday which was great. They really went the extra mile for the guests we enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely be back!

Our stay at Memories was excellent. The staff were lovely and accomodation and the breakfast inclusion was great.

The location is brilliant. Close enough to the town to get a 7 minute Grab, but far enough away to be able to escape the busyness of town. The view from the rooms over the river with the lantern boats is amazing. Frogs all over the place at night which the kids loved. Stunning family pool and amazing adults infinity pool. The staff were professional and helpful without being over the top. Big enough to be well equipped, but still felt boutique. Thoroughly recommend this stunning hotel, the amazing rooms, and the memories you'll be left with.

This is quite a unique property - occupying an entire island just off the main old town area - albeit a 15 min walk that can get pretty sweaty. Half the island is the hotel with the other half an entertainment area - where every night (ex Tuesday) they host various mini-shows and food stalls and a larger main show - all of which runs from 5-9pm. It’s a fun thing, and clearly handy, to be close to - albeit def not worth missing old town at night for. The noise didn’t bother us in the hotel at all.The hotel is generally what you would hope and expect for the price you are paying relative to other options. If anything the rooms are much larger than you may expect - albeit we didn’t feel like we needed all that space. Nonetheless there are a few reasons it falls short of some of the other places we have stayed in Vietnam. Bear in mind we are a family of four, which makes some of these things slightly bigger issues than they perhaps sound. (1) of the two pool’s, only one allows children and has been made with a pretty abrasive stone. Our kids cuts their hands and feet most days! It’s a known issue as there are kids pool shoes offered.(2) the pool bar is only attended half the time, although the nearby restaurant service is good.(3) the gym doesn’t have air conditioning, and with little breeze through it, will comfortably be hitting 40 degrees. Prepare to sweat !(4) the kids club is a fairly basic room aimed at 5 and below, but is unsupervised, so you can’t use it as a drop-off to use the adult pool / gym etc.(5) the bikes are pretty standard ones - but worth noting there aren’t any kids options nor bike helmets. The hotel’s location doesn’t lend itself particularly to cycling around given the busy bridges you need to cross.Overall, we enjoyed are stay - Hoi An is fantastic - but next time would choose somewhere that bit closer to the old town so you could more easily come and go, and would hope for something a bit more family friendly.
