The Lit Villa

The hotel is in a great location right near the center of Hoi An, within walking distance of all the main attractions, cafés, restaurants, and the night market, which makes getting around very convenient. The room was clean and the staff was helpful.

The bathroom has a window that doesn’t properly close and lets mosquitoes in, the walls offer no soundproofing so you can clearly hear people in other rooms and the hallway.

The location could not have been better. Literally a minute walk from the old town. But the best part of my stay was meeting the beautiful family that runs the hotel. They are incredibly kind, caring, and helpful. I would stay there again.

Location is amazing! The host family is friendly and supportive. The pool is just next to my door. They clean the room every day. The bed is very comfortable.

I would like a big mirror in the room. There is one, but just to see the face.

Perfect location and super friendly staff. The room was clean and they cleaned it every day and gave us new towels. Hooked us up with transport to da nang and helped with everything we needed

The pool unfortunately looked quite murky, so we didn’t use it.

Excellent stay at this family-owned place, we felt very welcomed all the time. The accomodation is in the heart of the city, the staff is really nice and helpful, they arranged trips and did laundry for us, they even bought fruits from the market for our kids. We totally recommend this place!

This place is HORRIBLE.The host is so noisy... Their kids were making noise the whole time. They woke up around 6 and start shouting, crying, and talking loudly the whole day. The adults scolded the kids loudly back too. It was impossible to have a good rest at all. Even though the room was nice and the location was good, with so many cheap and nice options, I think nobody should book this place. If you don't want to waste your money like I did, please avoid it at all cost.

The owner didn’t mention that there was certain times where there would be hot water so some of us had a cold shower.We also had to wait until 3 to check into our room as someone else had a late checkout, but no compensation for us checking in an hour after arriving.The owner had recommended us a coconut boat tour who had charged us almost twice the price than others and also recommended a lantern boat tour quoting a price of 150k per person when the standard price is 220k per boat.We also couldn’t leave our luggage after checking out as they had to “close” the whole place and so we had to carry our luggage around with us.I wouldn’t stay here again even if I was paid to.

Location was great ?

Owner kept going into our bedroom to switch off the lights or the air conditioning. Felt like my privacy was invaded. We left after 2 days and booked into another hotel.

Room was very clean, new towels and water were provided everyday.

It would have been great if there was the possibility to buy beverages but a supermarket was very near by, so not that big of a deal.

The room was nice with very comfortable beds. Family running the guesthouse were very friendly and helpful.

The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The location was brilliant and the price was very cheap for what you get.

Very central to old town. Down a side street. Quiet at night . Very clean . Plenty of hot water, clean towels everyday If needed . Nothing was too much trouble , I needed to be somewhere quickly one night and Lit the owner very kindly dropped me there on her bike .Very much appreciated . Will defiantly stay there again if in Hoi An

Fantastic boutique home stay! Super clean and convenient room. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly family hosts. Super helpful with information and motorbike rental. Convenient and good price (300 D) car transfer to Danang airport. Great location. Just minutes walk from walking street and river. Quiet side street.

The Lit Villa was a home away from home... The family-run villa was perfect for our 3 day stays where they cared for you like their family. They provided tour options, car options, bikes/cycles, and even medicine when required. I would highly recommend staying here. Choose the balcony option for the room. They upgraded us to a balcony when we asked for it so it was more pleasant.

Nothing.. everything was good

Great location. Close to night market and old town but not directly in it so less noisy, though it definitely can get loud. Hosted by a local family with 2 small kids who are very cute but can be very nosy!

I had the option to be placed in another room upstairs instead of on the first floor near the indoor pool. That first floor room required going outside around the back of the house to access. You can’t do that from inside, which isn’t the best when it’s super dark and rainy. The upper floor room was good but directly facing the street. The window in the bathroom cannot actually close so the door needs to be shut when you sleep. There is a small balcony which is nice. Bathroom is relatively new and modern but the floor gets extremely wet and is unsafe to walk on, even with flip flops. The floor and whole toilet were actually all covered in water when I checked in. The bed is good but be warned - there are small tiny red ants that crawl everywhere. They will get on your suitcase, bed, desk, everywhere. I also did some laundry with them but double check - I was overcharged without warning. FYI if you pay by credit card upon arrival they will add 3%.
