Dechiu Hotel

The environment is excellent. And the location is super close to the ocean. I stongly recommend the breakfast there and it will definitely satisfy you. Girls are super nice and thoughtful, making me feel like home.

The staff were the most attentive gentle softly spoken sweet ladies , ever. They recommended the Bamboo Circus , an absolute must, ask & they will book for you . They also booked a massage in the countryside on the river with free transportation from the hotel. The breakfast was a daily surprise & so fresh , organic & healthy, this is worth the stay . The thoughtful notes & gift’s daily made me feel very special . The bar fridge content is free & replenished dally , so even though not taken advantage of , the generosity was appreciated.Thoughtful artwork.

The loud & unfortunately very amateurishly bad rock band playing across the road on Sunday evening , fortunately only 4 hours of it . Make sure you’re away from the hotel 6-10pm .Beach in front of the hotel not easily accessible or very clean .

A delightful small hotel with a calming natural ambience. The staff were wonderful. We found the breakfasts original and wholesome, mixing western and asian influences, and a highlight of our day. Highly recommend.

Best place to stay in Hoi An. Well designed boutique hotel with the most amazing staff. Location is perfect is you want to keek your distance from Hoi An’s touristic and crowded atmosphere, the hotel is 10 mins away by car to the center.

right across the street is a beach club and it gets loud when they get their music going. the first room we got was really small for two. and it was right across the aforementioned beach club.

The interior is out of this world, a feast to the eye!The attention to detail at Dechiu is extraordinary- as soon as we walked into the room, a beautiful aroma of lemon grass hit our nostrils. There was a welcome note waiting for us and a jar of tea was a lovely gift. Everything in the fridge is free of charge and you also get coconut crackers every morning. The cleaning is done very discretely whilst you’re having breakfast so you come back to a clean room and never even see or hear the cleaning team.The bikes are free of charge and available 24/7.Breakfast - where do I begin… kombucha shots followed by yoghurt & fresh fruit for starters. Then you get to choose between a Vietnamese or Western breakfast - both vegetarian. Absolutely delicious!

This is a beautiful place to stay, very stylish decor and individually designed & furnished rooms. The hotel staff are lovely and very helpful. Easy to get a cab into Hoi An or rent a scooter locally to explore the area independently.

The beach opposite the hotel is not that accessible and has had some erosion issues, so it's about a 15 minute walk to a good section of An Bang beach which has good restaurants and sun beds. We hired scooters so this was easily done.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, fabulous interesting design, extremely comfortable, the most delicious breakfast with many different beautifully presented dishes. Some wonderful bowls and mugs are available to buy but would have loved to buy the indigo bed linen too! And of course the staff were the most friendly and helpful, we miss them all.

Only that there is no restaurant for dinner, in five days we couldn’t find restaurants with food that was anything near as good as the hotel breakfast.

Such a thoughtful touch that went above and beyond.The food was outstanding, and I can honestly say the breakfast was the best I've ever had. Every detail was perfect, and I left feeling completely satisfied.I will definitely be returning – this place is truly one-of-a-kind!

Staff were excellent. They were helpful, responsive and extremely hospitable. We appreciated the personal attention as well as gestures (cards, handwritten notes, etc)Everything in hotel from bed sheets, tableware to decorations was top quality!

The weather was out of ordinary and our room was at the top floor. That room barely has sound proofing so it was impossible to sleep with rain and wind outside.

The location is across the road from the South China Sea. Beautiful and natural light everywhere. Dechiu has a serene and peaceful vibe. Vintage Vietnamese textiles and art objects fill the spaces, a koi pond, a lovely restaurant with fresh squeezed juices, delicious coffee and vegetarian food options. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and well cared for and directed us to the best places to get spa treatments and custom made clothes . The room had a daily supply of tea, coffee, snacks and fresh water . One morning we got up at 4 am to go on a scheduled tour and without asking we were given a breakfast brown bag because we were missing the fabulous breakfast. The room smelled great, had a lovely shower, super comfy bed with gorgeous cotton bedding and lots of extra pillows. Dechiu has a low key but luxurious vibe. We absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to leave . On the last day of our stay we found out that there is another Dechiu property in Hoi An Ancient Town with a pool and more rooms . We didn't have time to check it out but I bet it's just as fabulous. 5 + stars. Great value . Stay there!

I loved everything about the property

Dechiu has clearly been created with care and inspiration - a typical Vietnamese villa with a unique design. Our room was quirky, with individual design features but everything you could want in a room. We loved it from the moment we walked in…. Overall this is a property we don’t really want to share as it is so special. A feeling of tranquility and calm - the team who look after you are lovely, thoughtful and want to make your stay special. It was my husband’s birthday today - they had noticed from his passport and surprised him with a beautiful Vietnamese cake. Small touches like this everywhere - I’m already missing Dechiu….

Generally there was nothing we didn’t like… the only slight grumble was that our room (#203) was damp. Whether this was faulty aircon, or a orevious occupant had never opened the window and aired the room, I don’t know. This meant the pillows were slightly musty etc. Genuineky a small grumble as we love this place so much, but easy to fix? Our daughter’s room next door did not have this issue…

Fabulous little oasis with friendly staff who couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. The rooms are real works of art with peaceful colour palette and all provisions, including some sweet welcome gifts. Delicious breakfast and coffee and an easy cab ride to central Hoi An. Bonus is the friendly canine member of staff who gently greeted us each morning! Thank you Dechiu.

Beautiful boutique hotel, designed by a Vietnamese architect. Tasteful and spacious rooms with lots of nice details, including local artefacts. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Free bikes available (not the best quality, though).

We had to pay on arrival, and an additional 3% tax was added for payment by credit card (which is quite common here). Unfortunately the room was a bit damp.

Beautiful room, helpful staff. I’m also obsessed with “carrot” the dog that hung around the lobby!

The unique design, the chilled vibe and the incredible staff! we felt cocooned with genuine affection and warmth! Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing! All the staff were just lovely but a special mention for Van, her smile lit up the room!!
