Location and Clean

Reception welcome was way lower than Novotel standards, Shaving Mirror light was not working, Shower was completely off and Water oozing out from sideways.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and amenities in Working order. I liked the pillows and bed sheets!

Toilet paper was quite thin and wouldn't tear properly

1. Clean and Comfortable Rooms: The rooms were very clean, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness and providing sufficient water. 2. Comfortable Beds: The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. 3. Soundproofing: The rooms were well soundproofed from outside noise, adding to the overall comfort.

F&B service needs more to smile and have guests feel more welcome! The Breakfast was good but other IRD items were oily and greasy that we found wasn't as per our prior experiences.

An exceptional stay with great rooms and view. Staff was very courteous and has been very supportive to all our needs and made the stay memorable.

The food was a bit oily this time. I have stayed at this property for 6 times. This was the only time when I found the food a bit oily and salty. Just a feedback for improvement,

We interacted with a couple of kitchen staff members who were not trained and showed rude behavior.

Everything from the rooms, dining, food, gym, swimming pool, staff alertness and friendliness and promptness of service, this is the best hotel in Guwahati. Me and my family stays here almost twice here every year and we shall do so in future too.

The service time of food ordered at the restaurant is a bit longer as lunch ordered at noon time usually takes almost an hour to be served. Apart from this everything else is perfect.

Services is very good as always.

Price a little bit high, as I stayed there few days before with much laser price. 7000+tax is ok but 10000+tax is high for that property.

Service from staff in the dining hall at the Square was brilliant and wonderful. Staff lead Meristina is an extremely talented, skilled, and insightful individual who stunned us with the quality of service she provided. Hotel staff was very kind and warm. Great stay.

Would want a bathtub in the restroom please for the price we are paying. The king bed also needs to be larger to accommodate at least two people comfortably. Breakfast needs to be complimentary for the rate one is paying for the executive king suite- please try to arrange that for guests.

The stay was good, staff were well behaved, amenities were good, and food was average.

The staff should inform the customer all about the amenities, but they didn't, and we have to explore to get the access to amenities.

Breakfast had caned juices which I didn’t like. There were very few options in fresh juices and very few bakery items.

Gym and swimming pool are very small (certainly not the standard five star hotels).Everything overpriced. I took a taxi from airport to Novotel (roughly 30 km) for 1000 bucks. I wanted a taxi from Novotel to airport they said it would be 2500 bucks.

I think the check in desk needs more staff and better area. It’s very congested but thanks to the Lady whose name is somewhat Banandita… ( hope I am correct) helped me or else it would have been worst

We stayed here with a toddler for 3 nights. The location was very nice, centrally located and very near to all restaurants and hospitals. The staff in their restaurant were very nice a friendly and always ready to help us. The Breakfast buffet was simply very good, it had a huge spread of dishes. Definitely would recommend for the stay if they improve a bit on my suggestion. The security staff were very good.

Since we checked-in early, the staff made sure we get a room, that was very nice of the staff, but the room which we got not in a good condition, and it was not cleaned properly and also there was a hole in the wall which was repaired after we checked-in the room. I have mentioned at the reception send someone to clean the room properly and also to keep 3 set of towels which was not done. I asked for towels,3 times but still i did not get them. There were multiple coffee stains on tables and sofa, and black moulds formed on the window edges, i asked the staff to clean, since i have a toddler and i did not want her to get sick, but it was not done, inspite of informing the reception and showing them the pics. This review is not to defame you, but to increase your standard, because for the price which we pay for the stay, customers expect that kind of standards too.

The only thing to like about the property was the staff.

Even though the hotel wasn’t too old, its upkeep made it look extremely dated. As much as the housekeeping department was lagging in the upkeep, the blame cannot be put entirely on them. It seemed like the person who designed the hotel did not think of how hard the maintenance would be, starting from the bed headboards, to nightstands, to table tops, everything was a site for attracting stains. Things were made from materials which would be hard to clean. Plus, as a part of cost cutting they removed tissue papers, coasters from rooms, not realizing that if you don’t provide guests with those things you are making it difficult for anyone to keep clean, even if they want to. Just bad management.
