It has a beautiful beach. Our room was spacious.

Unfortunately, I did not find the resort to be good value for money. The property appears dated and would benefit from renovations, as much of it feels like it has not been updated for several decades. Maintenance and cleanliness could also be improved—for instance, housekeeping left used coffee cups in the room without removing or replacing them. The pool is dirty, and there are no outside showers who actually work. Additionally, I felt that the staff, particularly in the restaurant, were not very welcoming, and the food at the restaurant was average at best.

The beach was very nice and the location was not bad, although transportation on the island is quite expensive unless you rent a vehicle.

The staff was horrible. We were lied to, a reception worker roller their eyes at us, and we caught someone smoking on our rental motorcycle as well as woke up to some drink left on the seat of the bike. The door to the balcony wouldn’t close all the way even when locked, and there was a horrible smell from the shower after using the shower.

It is the worst hotel in our trip so far. The staff wasn’t welcoming and mostly rude. The rooms are very old. The hotel has no facilities (no gym, no breakfast, pool was dirty). The beach was dirty, full of tourists from outside the hotel, and they don’t offer sunbeds. It was really hard to go around the island from there because there are barely any taxis in that area and the kept giving us random prices for taxis at the reception which made everything a lot more complicated. Hard to find good food around the area. Also, we ordered taxi from the reception to take us to the pier, and they told us that a van will pick us up. Then all of a sudden they told us that the van cannot reach the hotel, and a staff member that knew absolutely no English was supposed to take us to the van from a different location. He randomly dropped us off somewhere and luckily we found another person that translated everything so we were able to get to the pier on time, but he definitely didn’t know that he was supposed to take us to the pier.

We had two double rooms (not bungalow) which were very nice and had everything we could think of including sitting areas, a balcony, etc.Also the pool was fantastic: very big and just the right depth for swimming and standing (ca. 1.3 m).The location basically on the beach was also ok and there are a couple of restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance.

The beach itself looks better on pictures than in reality. In fact we spend very little time here and instead used the car to explore the rest of the island. Sadet beach for instance looks much better.

The shower was missing a cabinet and was very basic and functional but nothing more than that.The beach villa that we stayed at was clean but the decoration was very simple. The bed pillows were terrible and the blanket didn’t feel good

The location is beautiful

We booked a 10-night stay at Ko Ma Beach Resort and chose the beachfront villa, even though it was quite expensive, because we wanted to treat ourselves on our trip to Koh Phangan.Before arrival, the hotel arranged a taxi pickup from the pier — a thoughtful touch. However, when we arrived, the receptionist asked for full payment upfront, which we paid without hesitation, assuming our villa was ready as booked.Only after paying, we were informed that the beachfront villas were overbooked, and we were assigned a second-floor room above the villas. When we raised concerns, the staff simply said “same same”, despite the clear difference in the pictures shown on Booking.com.Eventually, the receptionist admitted the villa was unavailable and moved us to a ground-floor room near the beach, which is 1,000 baht cheaper per night. But when we asked for a refund of the price difference, we were again told “same same” — and were refused any compensation, even though it was clearly a downgrade.We tried to move on and enjoy our time, but unfortunately, the restaurant was also disappointing — bland food and disengaged service, far from the warm hospitality we’ve experienced elsewhere in Thailand.Finally, at checkout, we were told 100 baht would be deducted from our deposit for a broken glass that we’re sure we didn’t break. At that point, we just let it go.We left feeling frustrated and disappointed. The location is beautiful, but the management, service, and honesty fell short. Sadly, we won’t be coming back, and I would not recommend this resort based on our experience.

Great resort to be on while on Koh Phangan. Very quiet family type resort. Beautiful beach just steps away from your room with a decent restaurant on the beach as well. Just outside the resort there's a convenience store. The closest 7 eleven is a bit of a ways away to be fair, definitely need a scooter staying here. There's an expensive weed shop on the resort as well if you need bud.

Asked the staff to change my bed from 2 singles to a King (which Is what I booked) and they refused so I stayed 7 nights on 2 singles which is whatever but just don't understand why they offer the king bed if they can't do it, hahaha super strange.

The room was nice, as shown in the pictures. Very spacious bed and very nice bathroom. The location and the beach were amazing with incredible sunsets. The hotel's shuttle, ferry and taxi package to the airport was great and made the experience a lot smoother.

The service was subpar, mainly at the restaurant/beach-bar. So much so that we stopped using it after the second day and only ate out. Also the laundry service shrunk all my clothes.

The pool was great really big and next to the beach. Great sunset views. We had a double deluxe and it was a nice size room onto the garden

The reception area was very scruffy next to the car park where lots of mopeds and cars were coming and going. Initially we were given a room near this area but changed. Food at the restaurant is regular beach food and curries nothing particularly special

The room and location was great. The property is directly on the beach. The reception area requires some updating. It felt like more checking in at a campsite rather than a hotel resort. The staff however were extremely friendly. The restaurant area could do with some updates and being more clean and tidy. We chose to eat elsewhere during our stay. The pool area is also a little tired. We chose to spend time on the beach instead.

We had a beachfront Villa and it was the best sunsets every afternoon. They have the most beautiful coconuts for sale at only 60 baht.. the water is so perfect that you’re able to swim at any tide level. The walk over to Koh Ma at low tide is just stunning..

The rooms could be Cleaner and the staff at the pool area could be a bit quicker because there was a lot of standing around doing nothing and not serving anyone

The room was amazing, we booked one of the places with a sea front view and loved every minute of this location as . The room was large, spotless, massive bathroom, wardrobe and changing area, large comfortable bed and doors going out onto the veranda. The staff keep the place spotless and there are people raking the sand in the morning so that leaves and debris are removed before people wake up. They show such pride in the place. The food, although not included was lovely with a lot of choice for all meals. As a vegetarian there were lots of options. The pool is lovely. Clean and well maintained, with free sunbeds and shades for hotel guests. Again, we got here early in the morning to enjoy the peace and quiet before other people arrived. Transfers were easy and the people on reception were lovely, booking us a snorkel trip etc.

This is the second time we have been here and we re-booked because the pool was so lovely to relax at. The ONLY things that we didn't like was a few disruptive guests. They were at the pool, every day, playing loud music and monopolising the pool, drinking from glasses in the pool, one boy urinating into the pool, which was horrible. After a couple of days I spoke to reception and was told they were leaving the next day, although they didn't and continued to play loud club music, also leaving dirty nappies under the sunbeds for someone else to clear up. This meant that other guests relaxing by the pool were forced to move once this group arrived, which was a shame. I feel the resort should have done more to curb this behaviour. I spoke to them on numerous occasions as we had to avoid using the pool at certain times of the day. I would have spoken to the group myself, but they were quite intimidating. In future the staff should tell them no music is allowed and ask them to leave if they continue, as it had an impact on other guests staying there.

Loved everything, a remote location with all the essentials around. Mini mart, couple restaurants, bike rent and the most amazing snorkelling and diving spot. Hotel was really nice, staff very helpful and friendly, amazing swimming pool, and the whole area just clean and tidy. The only downside was the concept of the bathroom with sliding doors, for a couple it would not be a problem, but for a family it was a bit inconvenient with finding the best way to keep them open and closed. Also I wish the shower and toilet would have separate entrance, or at least additional door.

A great place if you are looking for peace and quiet.It is not close to anything, so a car or bike is much needed. also the resort can get you a taxi to anywhere.

The room is clean, the staff is nice

Access to the hotel is really difficult. There are many potholes in the ground that are impossible to avoid. The hotel should improve the access road, as it causes significant discomfort.
