The Ford SunSet Beach Resort

A bit outside of town meant it was nice and quit at night. Beautiful view from the cafe/restaurant

Excellent and lovely staff and owners. Nice facilties, great food at the restaurant, room service, nice common area and restaurant. Great WiFi connection for people who need reliable wifi. Pool five steps from my room.

Mattress was a little hard - only relevant to people with back problems. They ordered me a taxi service for a short drive within Hin Kong beach area, a taxi service that they use exclusively, and told me it would cost a 100-150 baht. The taxi driver refused to drive me unless I paid 300 baht, when it only cost 200 baht to get from the pier in Thongsala all the way there. Wish they used a more reliable taxi service that doesn't try to scam you. But it's not the hotel's direct fault.

Great vibes, the staff were so helpful and sweet, big clean rooms and huge comfortable beds.

The restaurant/bar/lounge area! A great variety of people staying there from families with small children, backpackers in their early twenties, data nomads working remotely to elderly. Great ambiance and very friendly and helpful personnel!

The traffic on the road adjacent to the hotel property. Though after a day I got more or less used to it. During evenings and night time there is very little traffic. I was never disturbed during nights.

location is perfect, flat road, on the Hin kong Beach, 1 min from restaurants,7 eleven, fitness club. beds are confirmable and soft which is rarely in Koh Phangan, the staff is super helpfull and nice, the water preasure in the shower is very good and the pool and sitting area is great. Super value for money.

The room wasn’t clean enough

The restaurant is great and the people here are so lovely and helpful.

The room had a weird smell. The shower was hard to work out. The linen was cheap and created static when sleeping the pillows were also not great.

Great and affordable place on Phangan. The poolis nice and there are some hammocks to relax in. Room was nice and clean, no mosquitos.

Location is not ideal, but with a scooter it’s Allright!

The Pool! & It's Not Chlorinated and Big ? (saltwater?). The Wifi was good in my Cabin. The Cabin I stayed in matched description. It's Clean yet a bit dated but no big deal at that price Very Friendly & helpful Staff. The View of the Ocean across the Road from Hotel is Stunning!The Mattress is Pillow Topped for those that Like that. I recommend and would stay again. Probably in a room with the Balcony's

All is Good

We had a great stay! The staff is super friendly, the food delicious, the pool was amazing and the room is nice and spacious.

The only inconvenience was the air-conditioning, the temperature could be changed but not the blowing speed.

Super mega friendly staff, delicious food and even the coffee :)

The Ford was great!! Amazing pool, rooms were spacious, clean and a quick walk to Hin Kong beach. The beach is not really for swimming, but the Sunsets are amazing!! The area is nice and peaceful with loads of restaurants/bars/entertainment options.

Great resort, Great staff, and the location is ideal. I would definitely come back here again. We were initially in a double room near the pool table. We could hear the balls drop from our bed as people played into the night. Within 10 minutes the owner has moved us to a deluxe sweet on the far side of the resort where it was absolutely silent. The room was amazing and the coffee and breakfast choice in the morning was spot on. Laundry is the same price as everywhere else and it's all done in house. The staff made our stay pleasant and hassle free.Thank you.

- The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful- Scooter rental - The room was spacious - Decent enough Wi-Fi - Nice pool area- Nice restaurant, seating and pool table area- Quiet area, not too far of a ride from the main areas

- The rooms by the pool are in need of renovation as they are very old and tired. All of the fixtures on the walls are loose and ready to fall off. It was also very damp. The owner/manager said they plan to do this

Staff was friendly

My room at the Poolside was in a really bad condition. It needs renovation asap! Highly overpriced for what I got. Couldn't even lock my door properly from the inside.

It has a good and warm swimming pool

Very small wet floor shower with no hot water and the room was fully constructed in a container

Friendly staff

Make sure to NOT book a room next to the pool. The room was very old, moldy, noisy and dirty. There are other newly build parts of the resort that might be better, but still I do not recommend this place. Rubbish was laying near the pool for days, room was smelly and in horrible shape. Our stay was not a good experience, no value for the money we paid.

The restaurant, owner/staff, location, pool area and accommodation a massive thumbs up! Most beautiful sunset on your door step! Friendly family run wish we had stayed longer.

Bed was slightly hard but that’s just a personal preference
