One negative point I should mention is that the Wi-Fi was terrible and disconnected every 30 seconds. I had a SIM card, so I managed to deal with it.On the first night I arrived, the room next to mine was playing loud music. Even though I’m a DJ myself, I really couldn’t tolerate that kind of noise while trying to sleep. There was no one around to complain to, so I had to leave my room myself and let them know they needed to keep it down.The rooms are extremely close to each other, and there is basically no privacy if you’re trying to have some peace and quiet.The staff always have smiles on their faces, but they don’t really engage in conversation and mostly avoid interaction rather than being attentive or proactive.As for the restaurant, contrary to the reviews I had read, it felt unnecessarily expensive—for example, a simple fried egg with two slices of toast cost 120 baht. Honestly, why?

A very quiet and relaxing place to stay. We stayed at the end of our holiday, so just relaxed. Staff were friendly. Pool table, table football and pool for recreation. A complete opposite to "the original pool party" venue it either was or maybe becomes every month.

Restaurant closes at 8:30.

The pool with a great view. The restaurant had a big menu with a big variety, very fair places. Good location for who is going to Full Moon Party, it is possible to go by walking.

Brilliant location and had a hostel vibe which was lovely, great facilities, right on the beach and lovely pool and games. Rooms were nice just the AC didn’t really work and when it did made us slightly unwell. Stayed for the full moon party and it was perfect would definitely recommend. Restaurant was super cheap, and staff were lovely. Overall great value for money and great location.

The place is good

At night there was no water in the washroom in all 3 rooms i booked. No front desk personnel at night to ask about the situation. Saw a lady who work there and tried to ask about the situation but she yells at me saying her shift is done and don't know anything. I asked if there is anyone else to ask but she kept shouting "don't know, u ask in the morning". And then proceed to leave. Had no water in the washroom for the rest of the night

Many years ago it was a great hotel. It has been rundown with no maintenance. The staff, all from Myanmar, were great. Expensive and no value for the money.

The staff were the nicest, the room was spacious and clean, and the common spaces were very nice with great views of the sea. It was very cheap for what you get, super cool!

A lovely bungalow complex with a nice seaside pool and restaurant. The staff was friendly and allowed me to check in earlier.

The furniture is a bit old and there are quite a few bugs and mosquitoes, which is expected given the location, but I still think it could be cleaner. Although the hotel is by the sea, the beach suitable for swimming (and where the Full Moon Party takes place) is actually about a 15-minute walk away.

A symphony of puking and coughing, laid through beds, muggy air in the room if the AC was off, run down place.. I would never book again, and left early.

The staff who were all from Myanmar were really good. Kudos to them.

No hot pot, TV or safe in the room. Kind of primitive from $45 a night. Not that good of deal for the money. The place was rundown, and hadn't been maintained at all. It was built 20 years ago and allowed to rundown. The owner just seems interested in taking the money and running.

Everything outside of the rooms was amazing, the restaurant, the pool, the beach, the whole vibe

In general the dorms are pretty nice, but for some reason my bed was a mattress on the floor right next to the entrance, even though at least 10 beds were free. This experience made my stay way less enjoyable

Rooms are basic but comfortable, I think a bit nicer than they look in the pictures. Staff are friendly and laid back, restaurant serves good food that’s affordable. We were a bit hesitant to come here due to some of the negative reviews but we had a positive experience, so long as your not expecting luxury this is a great place to stay. We stayed with kids, and they had lots of fun in the pool.

Just to be aware that people smoke marajuana in the common areas, if you are sensitive to that.

The staff at Coral are so charming and kind . They made my stay so pleasurable.The beds in the dorm are lush single mattresses & are so comfortable .I would recommend Coral in a heartbeat.

The location

Now, I am coming at this from the viewpoint of a 59yr old male solo traveller. My room was def geared up for multiple occupancy so while I paid too much for the room-4 people could stay in it and split the cost. It is a hostel by any other name-albeit a good one. If you like music, partying, a great location and cheap food, and don’t worry about things being rough around the edges then this could be for you.

They Sell motorbike via messages when you go all fully booked no motorbike, my room had sink broken water all around bathroom. Too much not worth for money paid

It is a fact that Kho Phangan Labor's is from Myanmar. There are no longer thai people working over there. The staff was accommodating and maintaining the place as good as they could. It was a pleasant stay.

As usual the Foreigners are noisy and think that they are on top of the world being drunk, stone and snob!
