we have a 2 room villa with excellent view! the restaurant (breakfast and more) was excellent. great view and great food.

Well the place seems old so the shower wasn’t that clean and workingA lot of mosquitoes during the evening and the balcony fan didn’t work though we asked

We had a wonderful time at Cookies Salad Resort! The location is incredible with each room feeling like it's own paradise. As some people have reviewed its not the most modern, but the incredible friendly and warm staff more than made up for it with their great attitude - they made us feel so welcome and couldn't have helped more!

It is very hilly, which was fine for us but if you have mobiity issues theh might be trickier. Also if you rent a moped through their contact its a very steep hill to get started.

I’m super thankful to the property for taking care of us during our stay. A night before arriving, I sprained my ankle and the accommodation was extremely helpful with arranging breakfast to my room because I couldn’t walk and transporting me with the golf cart. They offer a variety breakfast with a great view, a cute co-working space, happy hour drinks and lots of seating at the pool area.

The bedding was rather uncomfortable, some parts of the entrance to the pool have broken cracks and naturally loads of children (everywhere). Also, if you don’t have a car or scooter you will need to call a taxi everytime you want to go out.

Lovely stay at Cookies. Salad beach is beautiful but very quiet with only a handful of restaurants. Hotel arranged reasonably priced taxis for us to other parts of the island. Our cottage was cute and right on beach but a little tired. Nice restaurant and cocktail bar onsite.

Pool area could do with a bit of a refresh. Nice seating around pool though.

Nice restaurant with good breakfast options. Very family friendly with children’s toys. The view from our balcony was wonderful and it included a cute kitchenette. Nice little pool right by the sea.

It’s on a big steep hill. Fine for us but worth noting if you have mobility issues or don’t wanna climb up/down every time you go to the beach. However, it is the reason for the great view.

Beautiful spot in the quieter part of Koh Pha-ngan. Exceptional views from our room and the various places to sit across the hotel, all of which had lovely squishy seats and plenty of choice (our fave being the sofa in the restaurant overlooking the bay). Our room was large, clean and nicely decorated, with a smart TV, sofa area and outdoor seating including a hammock (though this is a walkway to get to the other rooms). The beach is beautiful and great for snorkelling. Food at the restaurant is genuinely delicious, so much so that we didn’t bother leaving to eat elsewhere during our three day stay. Staff were extremely helpful in organising our onward transfer for us, with clear prices displayed on a board during reception. The resort is family friendly but children were well behaved and this didn’t bother us.

The stairs are steep but our room wasn’t too far from the beach and especially not the restaurant, meaning it wasn’t the end of the world if we left stuff in there by accident and had to make return trips. Lots of mozzies - particularly in the restaurant toilets, so beware! Most guests were covered in bites. Our bathroom was a bit stinky and the shower wasn’t great. The drains could probably do with a deep clean. Facilities in our room were a bit tired and dirty in places - spots on the duvet and mattress cover, which is a bit gross, and on the curtains.

The resort itself was very beautiful right at the Salad Beach. The salad beach is beautiful is not very crowded and really beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved the bungalows and the view of our room.

The location of the hotel is a bit off and you need a taxi to go everywhere (except for restaurants in Salad itself). We felt a bit isolated and that it took a bit more effort to go somewhere else. But if you rent a motorbike, it should be fine. Also some of the amenities such as bed linen and towels were a bit worn out and should be exchanged.

THE best place I have ever been to!Such nice rooms... STUNNING view.... and excellent staff!The weather wasn't with us (rained the entire stay.. with very few breaks) and still.... we loved the place.Located a bit far from any town or center.... but that I knew and it's ok....you can't have it all.Taxis are crazy expensive on the island though (& no Grab or Bolt working)....Staff is kind, very helping & flexible.

please pay spotify premium for sunset bar ?familly waterfront villa is in front of the kids pool so if you want quiet time count on kids srcreeming and jumping all day, we were with active small kids so we didnt bother but if you want to chill in the afternoon its not possible.

The hotel is on a hill so it offers a very beautiful view. The staff is very nice and shows a lot of attention to the children. Breakfast was very good. you can order from the menu and there are 3 common dishes that change daily.

Wi-Fi does not work in all rooms. Could renovate the bathrooms.

I had such a wonderful experience with Cookies Salad. I absolutely do not understand any negative or mid reviews. The property is stunning, the standard rooms are big and comfortable, and the staff is absolutely incredible. Anything you need help with, the super kind reception staff is there to make it as easy as possible. The guys who run the breakfast and restaurant service are so lovely and serve up very tasty Thai and Western dishes. Breakfast is delicious with a yummy Thai buffet and you can order eggs, pancakes and fruit plates to be prepared a la cart. Yes, you will need to walk up and down a steep hill to get to and from your room to the restaurant/pool/beach area but if you are reasonably fit it's really not bad. I really can't say enough good things about my experience. Such tremendous value for what you get!
