Staff and restaurant were great

Bathroom smelled like a curry eating dead man was buried in the walls,tv broken,safe broken but repaired on request

Good area , good rooms (we were set in a better room for the same price) and friendly staff.

in our second night, they said the reservation is under different name but in 2 people room, they only asked for one passport so then when I was away, they didn't let my friend in and cancelled his reservation. We had so many problems.

Wouldn’t go there again.

Staff was very rude and it felt like you had to apologize asking simple questions. once I got cursed at for asking for a water bottle. Place is old and desperately needs renovation. Room was clean outside facilities were dirty.

Scruffy and a little unkempt

Everything was perfect, the view of the room was so nice, and also the location is super quiet and relaxed !! All the staff are super friendly...Very nice experience

worst stay in Thailand

the staff were not friendly at all, room was clean and there was bugs in it. Air conditioning kept dripping on all our luggage. and we left the property before we could continue our full stay, we checked out after one night

The staff were attentive and caring, they went out of their way to help you with information, bookings and taxis. The food was good, resort was clean, pools were fantastic. Very laid back attitude. Easy to hire a moped making access to the rest of the island simple.

I liked it all, nothing to report here.

Location is pretty nice in between places.

The bad was literary like sleeping on the floor, not exaggerating. The door to the room was broken and was scratching the floor hard each time. The place is pretty old and facilities are not updated.

The food at Tharatip was tasty, staff were clear with communication, my balcony view of the mountains and sea was lovely, it was mostly a peaceful neighbourhood, and only 10 mins scooter ride from Sri Thanu. They also left it in my hands to say if Iwanted the room cleaned, which suited me well.

A flywire door out to the balcony and soap by the basin would've been nice but to be honest it didn't end up detracting from my pleasurable stay.

The staff was great. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. The views from upstairs was miraculous. ?The pool, restaurant and having a taxi available at a moment's notice was a blessing.

The stairs/steps were challenging ?

Their service was amazing. Receptionists speak very good English. Polite and professional staff. Simple kitchen in a separate room was good.

We saw a cockroach under the closet on the last day. Our bungalow had very dark lighting.

Very bright and close to the sea. Staff is supportive at all times. Availability to hang your laundry.

So many ants at the entrance but staff gave us a bug spray and it helped. Lots of steps to walk to our room. Door didn’t shut completely, so insects can enter easily. The fridge didn’t work. The internet was awful.

Terrible staff, dirty, old place, bad food, slide for pool broken, so much wrong.

Had bad water pressure shower trickled. My food always came last pool was green not able to go swimming in the pool.

Location was good. The room was a nice size, but you could see through the floor and mosquito in the room

They asked to pay for a missing glass that we never broke (even didn't use)

The staff for a bit grumpy. The hot water heater didn’t work in my unit. The whole thing was pretty outdated. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Hillside was kind of annoying. There was lots of steps up and down, and the rooms were cheap feeling.

Lovely big spaces - I got to wake up to the sea in the morning. The place maybe needs a little tlc but it’s still a great place to stay away from the business and noise of the rest of the island. Best suited if you’re happy to rent a scooter as it is a fair walk to the nearest shops and cafes and restaurants. Staff were friendly and the amenities all worked well for me!
