This was my second stay here at Hotel De Condor. The location is quiet and relaxing with the mountain/jungle as its backdrop. The rooms are spacious and the restaurant is one of the best on the Island (along with their sister restaurant, An Oi Cafe in town) serving delicious, healthy and beautifully presented food.Ly Ly and Lao Lao are incredibly gracious hosts who care greatly about their guest's needs and want them to have the best visit possible on the island. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful :)

Wonderful and unforgettable stay in Con DaoOur stay at this hotel in Con Dao was absolutely wonderful and extraordinary. The food was delicious, and it was without a doubt the best stay of our entire trip through Vietnam and Cambodia.The owner, Lao, is incredibly kind, warm, and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and that everything was perfect.The entire staff is extraordinary — professional, caring, and always smiling. They truly make you feel welcome and at home.In addition, Con Dao Island is a true little paradise on earth — peaceful, beautiful, and unspoiled.We will remember this stay forever and highly recommend this place.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was modest, however match the price.

The hotel is 3 km from the town/ beach. One needs to rent a scooter to get to the restaurants and/or around the island.

I truly felt at home here at this lovely property. My room was a corner room with a nice view the mountain. Very cozy and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with any needs and advice about activities on the island.The restaurant serves food all day and night with many delicious choices and I really enjoyed their smoothie bowls. They also bake fresh bread every day! There are guided morning yoga classes available (by Lalita) to relax and energize you here on this quiet and peaceful island.

Just finished my stay at Hotel De Condor in Con Dao and it was amazing! The room was super clean and comfortable, exactly what I needed after long beach days. I loved the morning yoga under the trees by the mountain — so peaceful and unique. The fusion-style restaurant was a real highlight, offering creative dishes with fresh local ingredients. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing hotel in Con Dao with great vibes, nature, and good food, this is it. Highly recommend for couples, solo travelers, or anyone seeking calm.

The hotel has friendly and helpful staff who offer great recommendations for local tours. Rooms are spacious, clean, and offer a refreshing view of the green mountains. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food, with breakfast being a standout – both tasty and satisfying. There's also a lovely garden area that's perfect for reading or simply relaxing, creating a calm and chill atmosphere. Another highlight is the yoga class available at the hotel, which is a great way to unwind and support your mental well-being during the trip.

A really nice hotel, it’s chic and feels very boutique. The rooms big and spacious. The cafe area and seating area downstairs and outside are lovely, and you can rent bikes. Staff super helpful

Lovely, bright corner room with nice furniture and a homey feel.The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a really lovely backyard too.Breakfast was great, always with a selection of fresh fruits, different coffees, tea, and fresh juice. Main course was chosen daily from a menu.Staff was nice and always helpful.Drinking water was freely accessible in the hallway.It is located about a 30 minute walk from the centre of the city, but there are small shops close by for your snacking needs, and the location itself made for a very peaceful place.We rented a motorcycle/scooter and drove around the island. Found several really good dinner spots. There's also a huge convenience store in town and a beautiful, pristine beach to swim from when the tide is in. Plenty of opportunities to go on adventure and explore in an uncurated way.Be very mindful of the environment. NEVER throw trash outside of bins. If there are none, bring your trash with you.

It is true that the breakfast is only Vietnamese, and the staff does not always understand intolerances/allergies.

Very helpful staff, clean. Excellent value for money. Rooms nice and airy and good air conditioning which is important! Make sure you have google translate as English is very limited all over Con Dao.

Breakfast is not the greatest but then we are European and most visitors are Vietnamese ?? so you need to bear that in mind. It is out of the centre of Con Son so you will need a taxi or scooter to travel. These are really cheap however.

Quirky with lovely tiles everywhere, and friendly staff who were really helpful. I gave them advance notice that I’m gluten and dairy free and they got some bread in that I could eat. This is a budget hotel but it doesn’t feel at all budget. We had a nice big airy room for our family of 4. My sons loved it too.

Pillows a bit hard! But that’s just my personal preference.

Wonderful staff - very friendly and helpful. Booked us taxis etc whenever we needed.Room and common areas pretty and clean.Has a small garden where you can relax for a little bit. There are electric bikes (as well as scooters) to rent which was really helpful. Good breakfast - made to order. Can have various Asian breakfasts or bread with fried eggs. Everything comes with juice, fruit and coffee. It’s an easy bike or scooter ride to beaches and the town.

The beds are very hard. I like a firm bed but this was a bit much even for me.The shower temperature is all over the place. It’s not a big deal but it takes ages to heat up and then goes hot and cold a lot.

We liked the furniture/decoration, the garden, the possibility to rent motorbikes and the view towards the hills/garden from some rooms.

The room didn’t look like the pictures we saw online, the AC was not adjustable, the bathroom was quite small and after showering all wet.

Lovely hotel in Con Dao in a nice quite location just a 5 min drive from the town centre. The room was big, comfortable and nicely styled. We rented scooters from the hotel easily. The breakfast was simple but good.

The building has a cozy garden with a grill available to guests and clean rooms with a spacious restroom.Many places to eat out nearby.Staff was very helpful and also spoke a little English!

It's a bit outside of the city center, but that also means it's a bit more quiet.Wasn't a problem for us as we were renting a scooter.

Nice quiet hotel. We rented scooters there. The view from the window is on the internal terrace, which is nice.The decor is super cute and they have free water in the hotel

The hotel is a little far from the city, so you definitely need a scooter or a taxi.The shower is basically on top of the toilet. So, the toilet is unusable after you wash yourself. When we arrived, the top part of the bed was covered in cigarette ashes, but otherwise, the room was clean.Breakfast is super overpriced.
