    • Good breakfast and tea buffet on the weekends
    • Everything was luxurious except one of the beautiful swimming pool which connects with the beach was closed which was frustrating
    • Rooms are very modern

    Cons -

    • Smell in the room was bad really ?, and later when I notice it came from the ? so when I closed the wc door had not any bad smell, but staff should check that cause this kind of luxurious hotel room should smell really good and expensive. Please consider that ?
    • The menu is all fori the chinese. At the restaurant it is hard to find ocidental food. They smoke everywhere and the rooms smell horrible (they are beautiful but the cigarete smell is horrible). No taxis upfront and hard to make any request since few speak english..
    • Not for business travel. No iron and ironing board in the room and when asked, the hotel couldn’t deliver even a one set to the room. Elevator design is poor and the wait of the elevator takes 3-5 minutes when in comparison to other similar level hotels it’s a max of a 1 minute. Breakfast is located inconveniently on 10 floor which creates additional wait for the lift to arrive. They don’t have aircon in the hallway so prepare to sweat while waiting for the lift. Rooms are clean and nice.

Rooms were very spacious and clean.

Quite disappointed with this hotel. Nowhere in the description does it mention that it is actually a casino (one of hundreds in this city). When we arrived, we had to pass through very strict security. Bags all scanned and body pat down on arrival. Met with military typed staff on arrival. When going to check in, the staff member couldn’t find our booking. Most of the staff don’t speak English (majority are Chinese), so hard to communicate with. The entire hotel was filled with Chinese guests who were quite rude and smoke everywhere in the hotel. We didn’t see any other westerners during our stay. The TV didn’t work in our room. Staff came to swap it over, but after half an hour, that one didn’t work either. Pool and beach not easy to access. Need to go outside and around the building to get to it. Pool itself was very nice, but not a lot of chairs or sun lounges around it. Can’t order any food or drinks at the pool area. Didn’t swim in the beach, as it isn’t very clean (hotel has been built next to a sewerage plant). Would not recommend this hotel, unless gambling is your sole focus for being there, as it doesn’t have much else to offer.

The lobby and rooms are the definition of a luxury hotel, marble and brass literally everywhere, no expense spared. Spacious and incredibly clean, wonderful view over the bay and beach from the balcony. The staff is friendly but with the exception of the head chef and one person in the front desk no one speaks English which sometimes makes things a little difficult. Excellent breakfast. Felt like an oasis in an otherwise strange city. Large outdoor pools on two levels.

In an impressive building like this one would expect a rooftop bar but there is only one restaurant in the middle of the building. The pool areas have no staff and you can’t even order drinks, this was very strange and these areas sometimes felt eerily empty because of it. The security personnel is friendly but the extreme security feels a bit much after a couple of days. It’s basically a “Chinese” hotel, as Europeans we felt welcome but also a bit out of place.

very luxury and new hotel, comfortable rooms and bed, the balcony had stunning view,

breakfast could have been better, beach side was smelling bad, a drainage pipe was dumping sewage to the sea very close to the hotel beach

    8MuhammadPosted on: 11-19-2023

that view very nice and sweet for the couple to honeymoon but sometimes that aircond not very cool.

    9SarinyPosted on: 3-11-2023

very nice relaxing, nice view, roomy balcony, very comfortable room, and good staff

Two major items:1. Other clientele, mainland Chinese, disregard “No Smoking” sign, they smoke everywhere in the elevators and in the restaurants. This is so obnoxious and offensive to others. 2. The hotel is still undergoing some upgrades, there is currently no easy access to the beach, you need to get out then walk to the back of the hotel or take several detours consisting of multiple elevator rides

    Bad not recommended

Customer service is bad. booked 3 rooms for our family to stay close together, but they check us in three separate rooms that not close together. When we ask for closer room, they will charge unreasonable price. My kid got bleeding nose while he was sleeping and had two small drop of his blood on a bad cover, they charge 10$ for clean up. Moreover, if you want to go to swimming pool or beach, you have to walk out of the hotel first.

Outstanding view of The Gulf of Thailand

5 STAR BUT NO SUBSTANCE - We arrived at this hotel for some much needed rest and relaxation having had a hectic few days seeing the sites. our first impression was good, beautiful views from the restaurant and with great expectation we were shown to our deluxe room. My wife and I went out onto the balcony and the view of The Gulf of Thailand was spectacular until we looked down, our balcony was sighted directly above a large rubbish tip. We returned to reception and complained about our room. The staff shared a knowing glance and with their small amount of English, explained they would show us another room. Needless to say the second room was no better so we moved onto a small Suite. This room was infinitely better but there was a cost of 200 dollars per night to move there. After negotiation this was reduced to 50 USD per night which I agreed to. I then decided to check on booking.com at the price for this room and found it to be the 50 USD per night that I had been charged. We then decided to go to the pool which looked beautiful and empty from above. To access this pool we had to take two banks of lifts, leave the hotel by the front door, walk 100 metres to the right, down an access ramp, another 50 metres and along the rear of the hotel to another lift which took us up to the pool. As we reached our su beds we understood the reason why the pool area was empty……..workman adjacent to the pool, banging clattering adjusting, making a general racket that was impossible to sit next to. Back to reception via the long walk and lifts, complaint made and after negotiation two sun beds were placed on the beach for us, problem solved. Next morning we went to breakfast. That afternoon, having eaten nothing else, I was hit with food poisoning which confined me to my room for the final 3 days of our stay. The noise of work was unbearable in the room so we complained to the management. Again they showed us two further rooms, bigger but the noise was even worse.

Breakfast had some good selection and hotel had a good pool area for kids.

Lobby wasn’t on the ground level. To access the pool you had to exit the hotel by the entrance and walk by through the alley. Need to watch out for the cars exiting the garage cause they don’t look out for you. Bathroom layout was horrible. No separate space to change. Bathroom and shower shared a sliding door so you couldn’t use both at the same time.

Good hotel:- excellent location;- clean and uncrowded beach;- friendly staff;- good rooms with sea view;- excellent wi-fi

wishes for improvement:- Andaman Seaview King room was with a "wonderful" view of the wall. When trying to change the room to another of a similar level, but with a sea view, I ran into a problem. As a result, I had to change to a lower-level room, but with a sea view, they did not return the difference in cost to us (fortunately, it was not big). We were not even offered a more expensive room as an alternative, although we were ready to pay extra.- the air conditioning system on high floors (22nd and 23rd floors for example) did not work perfectly: it cooled the room temperature slowly enough to what you need. But in general it was not critical.
