Puri Pangeran Hotel Yogyakarta

Owner operator & staff are simply superb. They had gone out of way to 1. Early check in 2. Arranging transport for our trip including free drop of at Yogyakarta station 3. Provided electric kettle, extra plugs & table fan. Very very helpful people.

AC is probably not adequate for the room size.

The room is clean, and set up like home. Pleasant traditional breakfast and friendly staff.Short distance to transportation, stores.

very quiet.

I think to pay RP150,000/day for a blanket is not worth it. If they want to charge for extra bed, then make sure it comes at least with a proper mattress, rather than a blank sheet of blanket.

big clean ancient

Great location. Walking distance to Malioboro street. Good varied breakfast. Good wifi. Very nice pool. Friendly staff. The pizza is not bad at all. Recommend

Very kind staff. Good breakfast and nice swimming pool. They make good pizzas for dinner.

The room could've had some lamps on the sides of the bed. There was only one blinding light in the ceiling. The bathroom was very small and got dirty very easily because it was shared with the toilet.

Lovely gardens, and a nice balcony. The room was quite small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generally pretty good. The staff were all fabulous.

The bathroom was very small, and the sound on the TV made it unusable. Honestly, I didn't really care about that too much.

The hotel is built around a garden in Balinese style and is nice and quiet except when they are calling for prayers from the mosque nearby. However, that was not so bad. It is located very much in the heart of Yogyakarta. They have a restaurant which offers a pretty good pizza, nothing else though. Okay for us and they also had beer which is not so easy to find in Yogyakarta.

Pool, breakfast, location

Bit small and basic rooms but we really had nice stay so it doesn’t really matter ?

I am conflicted about this review. There are a lot of good things, but the negative ones are pretty bad.Pros:- Staff are very friendly and helpful- The place is beautiful. Plants everywhere with some cute cats chilling around- The breakfast is amazing with lots of options (both Western and Indonesian food)- The pool is clean and tucked away, so you have privacy

- The bathroom in my room was gross. Absolutely terrible for the price of the room. I have attached some photos - The room walls were dirty- The room has no bedside table lamps, so you have to leave the big light on all the time. The big light has a white light which makes the room feel very sterile, like a hospital - There are generators or big AC units outside of some rooms (mine included) that run 24/7 and make noise. Hence the room is never quiet.Honestly, the hotel just need to do a deep clean of the rooms and bathrooms and then maintain it. It is not unreasonable to ask for a clean bathroom.

The hotel has a nice a quiet vibe, so it is a good place to relax after experiencing the chaos in the city. The rooms were good and clean, and the included breakfast was good. The pool is not very large, but good enough to cool down after a hot day in the city.

Nice garden. Quiet. Good ac and hot water. Bar has pizza and beer.

Comfy. Great and friendly staff. Breakfast is delicious. Maybe if you could add more menu that would be awesome. Will stay here again.

Kindly check the AC. Thanks

Delicious pizza and very nice pool. The staff was very kind always

Such a gorgeous hotel - lovely pool, gardens and very helpful staff. 25 mins easy walk into Malioboro street too. Highly recommend the pizza place at the hotel too, delicious!

Location. Bar / Restaurant.Pool.Friendly staff.

No extra pillows. Pool recliners had no towels or cushions.

Very nice buffet breakfast with options to match preferences.Helpful kitchen staffNice reception staffIt is located in a quiet areaHas a decent size poolThe surrounding garden is nice

The pool did not smell or felt as chlorine treated against bacteria/other virusesAC was not very strong but did its job. There were holes in the ceiling by the AC, not massive, but enough to let lizards or geckos in.

Perfect location to explore local life and tourist life. Very good value for your money. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is tasty, clean and simple. Good coffee and drinks in the outside bar. Swimming pool is very clean and good cooling down in the heat.Sometimes a little noisy because of the kids staying over.Beautiful Hindu garden in a busy city.Recommended for travellers and backpackers!

Excellent staff, very helpful.. reasonably close to everything.

Restaurant dinner menu was only pizza. Had to go out for meals

The staff was incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a smile, showing genuine kindness to every guest. They assisted us in planning our stay and recommended the most beautiful activities in the area. We traveled by car with a driver provided by the hotel, named Lucky, and he was absolutely amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We truly appreciated the hotel's lush, green exteriors, which were beautifully decorated, as well as the relaxing swimming pool. The breakfast was also excellent.

For our day trips, we had to leave the hotel before breakfast hours, so we were given a breakfast box, which only included bread, egg, and butter/jam. Since the breakfast we had the following day was an excellent Indonesian buffet, I really wished the breakfast box had something more similar to that.
