Spacious room, location
Stay in 2 room, 624 is OK, but 626 bathroom door is too heavy to slide.
Location.
For sensitivw ears with noise, domt saty here. It close to railway station just across the street. So you can imagine hornes of train and announcements. All the time till midnight.I dont mined coz I sleep no matter noisy it is
The location is very convenience, just right infront of the train station and a walking distance from Malioboro. The staffs were all helpful and nice.
The fruit juice in the breakfast could be change with better qualities.
Great breakfast and very affordable if not included in package. Very close to the station
Very nice and helpful staff. Quiet and clean room.
You can hear call to prayer and train early.
most valueable thing was the location. very close to train station and near to malioboro. breakfast was awesome.
Location near train station and also near malioboro
The room is not soundproof so the sound of trains and music can be heard until night time.
I usually never stay in larger more corporate hotels like this but Royal Malioboro was fantastic! Clean, comfortable, great signature scent. The breakfast was incredible! Traditional foods galore plus continental standards. Location is perfect for a first time Yogya visit!
The staff were amazing! Dimas at the front desk was so accommodating! He took our food order to the restaurant which took its last order for food at 23:00 because we wouldn’t get to the hotel u til 23:15. The food at the rooftop restaurant was also nice Perfect location too. Quick walk from the train station and Malioboro street for shopping. We didn’t get to use the pool but it had a great view.
Street noise was a little loud but didn’t stop us from sleeping.
We arrived late into Malioboro , having taken the train from Jakarta and got an upgrade upon arrival:) . The room was spacious, very clean and comfy. When we needed anything , there was no delay by staff too respond to our requests. For instance we had required an iron board and an adaptor and these were delivered quite promptly to our room. The massage services at the hotel was also very good . There are various places to relax such as a cafe on the ground floor and the pool and restaurant at the top and second floor. Sunrises were beautiful against the backdrop of Mt Merapi. The hotel is just across from the train station and round the corner of Malioboro street . There are plenty of options to eat and shop including a mall along Malioboro street. It is easy to catch pedicabs from anywhere to get around to Kraton or there in the train or bus that you can catch to Prambanan temple.
Everything was good
The rooftop (try Peach ice tea , laundry was perfect.
The loby and the Pillow was too hard
The location is perfect. If you use train to go in and out Yogyakarta, it’s the hotel that just in front the train station. Bed are firm not soft, room are always clean. It had a sky lounge for late night dinner. I like that they provide Jamu.
Breakfast was ok but needs lots of improvement in bread and pastry section. Most of the are stale.
