    • The hotel staff, Vivian, was very helpful and kind, assisting us to find an English speaking guide for a tour in the area and providing information to visit Taroko National Park and explore the area. The hotel is very comfortable, the view of the mountains from the room is beautiful. The breakfast provided was delicious, we really enjoyed the Chinese breakfast style and the buffet as well. We really enjoyed our stay :)
    • The staff were helpful. The hotel is located very close to Taroko National Park.
    • Excellent room, huge comfortable bed. The view from the room was gorgeous. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and the hot chocolate was the best. The staff were all very helpful, they helped book us an early morning taxi and gave us a takeaway breakfast. Wonderful stay.

    Cons -

    • Noise from the street.
    • This was clear from the description but there really isn’t anything other than the hotel in this town.
    • View wasn’t as good as I expected - the main road is in front of you. There are aggressive dogs on the way from the station to the hotel - use the free transfer service. There is no bar, although you can BYO beer / wine from the 7/11 and have it with your dinner in the lounge. National park is closed but there are certain paths you can use at certain times of day if you speak to the office, which is closed each 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Unfortunately that was exactly when I was there.

Great place to stay. All the staff were excellent and could not do enough to make our stay a very pleasant one. They helped us with the bus schedule and booked a taxi for us early the next morning to the station. Breakfast was delicious and the room was extremely comfortable and a big size. We will return.

Room was nice, marble and wood. Staff were amazingly helpful. Helped to organise train tickets and run me to the station. Early check in was made available. I slept really well. Very popular with bike tours.

Amazing views and amazing staff. Our stay was very comfortable. Vivian made our stay extra comfortable, thank you Vivian! This hotel is very close to Taroko national park so great location! And the drive to Hualien city is beautiful so we didn’t mind it at all ( 30 mins drive)

Nice building, beautilful room with nice view, good beds, and good breakfast. Close to Taroko national park.

Nothing, very good place to stay

Beautiful views from the hotel room. The staff were incredibly helpful, and really made an effort to accommodate English-speakers! We were initially considering cancelling our booking when we discovered that the Taroko National Park was still closed. However, we’re so glad we didn’t! We hiked to Luyi Lake from Shoufeng (trains are easy from Xincheng-Taroko station, a five-minute walk from the hotel). We cycled down the coast, and spent an entire day exploring the wonderful city of Hualien. Even without Taroko, this area is still very much worth a visit, and this hotel is the perfect place to stay while you do!

Everything. The best hotel that i’ve tried in whole taiwan. Best view, best breakfast, best atmosphere. Really, they deserve a 5 stars. Location is perfect. The hotel design is amazing. Stuff are extremely friendly and helpful and soooo polite. This was the best hotel experience in taiwan. I will definitely come back if ever i’m back to taroko.

    Nothing. It was just perfect.

One of our best stays in Taiwan - incredibly nice and helpful staff, very comfy room, very clean and stylish hotel, excellent breakfast, tea/coffee/matcha tea available 24/7, walking distance to the train station. Bus stop to Taroko National Park just in front of the hotel. Incredible view from the room/balcony. Highly recommended.

Nice small hotel, amazing garden at the backyard.

    Breakfast choices too narrow.

    10Hsu-Heng-AshleyPosted on: 4-2-2024

Absolutely phenomenal! Gorgeous views even on 3rd floor, top notch service, great for work and for kids. There is beautiful garden in back with benches that kids could run around and we could drink tea/coffee while keeping an eye on them.

    Nothing!

Exquisite boutique hotel, looks new & very pretty. Room is very clean and staffs are friendly with prompt service. The breakfast spread is good consider that it's a small hotel and not fully booked when we were there.

Nothing. Everything is good and I'll return when visiting again.

The staff were amazing, the location superb for easy shuttle bus transport to Taroko. Special thank you to Anthony and friends at the front desk.

    9MarkusPosted on: 10-16-2023

Great location opposite bus stop to Taroko National ParkVery friendly and helpful staff

There is nothing much around the hotel, so it is for people with priority to explore the national park

    9CarlaPosted on: 10-16-2023

We only stayed one night, but it was a good stay. The facilities are very nice and modern, including a beautiful garden, a cozy lobby (with free coffee and tea). The room was very spacious and the views from the room were really nice! The highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast buffet. It had both Taiwanese and Western offer, with a wide varied of options.

Restaurant was not opened for dinner, so we had to go out at night. We didn't walk too far, but there doesn't seem to be many options in the surrounding. We ate at a diner around the corner and the food was great! So I won't complain.
