Service of the staff, wonderful hospitality, treated us like friends.

A fridge in the room would have been nice, thankfully the staff helped us to use their kitchen fridge.

I stayed here four nights and had a great stay. I checked in early and checked out late at no extra cost. The manager graciously set me up with a very affordable auto rickshaw and personalized day tour at no cost. Meals were very good.

Spacious rooms. There is a lady and her name is Poonam. She is the best thing about this hotel.

We only booked this hotel because it said lake views. There was no lake views. Staff looked messy and not fully trained. There was no one in charge. This guy Pradeep had no clue what he was doing

Nice spacious rooms, nice bathroom,comfortable beds. I think that our stay would have been dreadful if this lovely young lady Poonam was not there. Poonam was polite and helpful at all times. 5* to Poonam. The food was decent on daily basis, and they did make what ever we asked for.

There was no lift. The management was not there at all. Tea and coffee facilities were provided but not replenished on daily bases. If we asked for one thing only that was done. The ppl working there looked dirty. We had to ask someone to clean the rooms otherwise no one came to clean or put clean towels.

My stay at Hotel Akshay Niwas in Udaipur was an absolute delight. The location is perfect, with stunning views of the City Palace and Lake Pichola. Room are Big and Spacious

We have booked 2 rooms , one for my family and second one for my wife parents. We were deceived from Photos posted on booking.com and quality and services were very poor.They say they are heritage hotel but basic services and hospitality is missing.It cannot be 4 star hotel as nothing is in shape, room, shower, staff, Breakfast quality etc.I really wished to speak with this property owners to give them feedback and suggest improvements need.I have visited and check the neighbouring properties which has less star and have a descent Quality as one need to stay tourist in a new place for same or less price.Check my detailed feedback in second review posted from me here

Rooms are big and spacious

It's published as hotel but its no more than a lodge experience for me and my family.1. For small things we need to ask for replacement such as big surprise on day one as the towels provided were all weared out and need replacement, blankets cover tool old and looks not dry cleaned or washed since months.2. Room has mosquitoes and mosquito repellent was empty.3. Bathroom sinks are choked ( water piles up and drains out slowly)4. Bathroom has geysers which you need to control yourself like dharamshala.5. In shower area the fittings are missing/ broken where you can place the soap and shampoo.6. We need extra bed as charged extra for our child, after 3 reminders in night 11.00 someone came with bedsheets ( no extra bed) to fix on sides so our child can sleep.7. No one pick up the call on reception. As there is no lift I need to climb 2 storeys down each day to search for staff ( hiding in kitchen or outside ) . This is understaffed premises. Existing staff is untrained and impolite.8. No one takes back the tea cups and glasses even if you call them to takeaway.9. We were asked to pay full amount as we reached hotel even before seeing the room.Generally we pays when we checkout the hotel.10. When we asked breakfast timings we were told its served from 09.00 onwards , next day cook came earlier and knocked on our room door that paranthas are ready at 08.00 itself. It's really a surprise as we were getting out for breakfast in hotel next to it which has better variety and quality.11. Breakfast is too bad as fruits o table are rotten one which no one can feel like eating( Apples, banana , papaya etc) with fungus you can see with bare eyes. When asked the staff they told they provide what they get from outside.No continental breakfast and very ordinary breakfast was provided.12. Swimming Pool water not cleaned since months.13. Printer was not working and I need to stress extra to give me handwritten checkout and payment confirmation on last day..

The staff was friendly and helpful.

The main gate was locked after 14:00.We were out celebrating New years and had to wait and jump the gate to wakeup the guard to open the main door. Its a hotel and it should always have the main door unlocked so the guests can enter anytime.

Excellently maintained property with welcoming staff. The staff was very accommodating for meal requests and dietary needs.

The Breakfast was very nice. The property looks good on ur website.

The housekeeping was non existent. Foot mats were missing in most rooms. The staff was all new and inexperienced although sweet. Check in and check out procedure was tiresome. We had booked 4 rooms and 2 rooms had dirty stained blankets. If managed well this property could deliver better. Never had an experience like this in Rajasthan.

Only the food was good part. The chef and her helper did good job

Overall property is run down and not maintained. The comods ha e cracks, the blanket covers are torn, housekeeping is poor, will not keep proper toileteries, used toileteries are kept, staff does not do the bedding. They charge for , but all amenities etc are kept for 2 pax, including blankets and pillows. For every complain, manager will be like you should have called me and I would have rectified.All the plants and decorations were unclean and dirty. The manager kept telling that the staff was on leave due to diwali etc...Overall this property is not worth more than ₹3000 for a couple with MAP plan.

It was clean and green. Spacious well lit rooms. Hospitality was great.

Services could have been better. No DND or cleaning signs. Expected a hair dryer in the rooms. Have a dedicated person on reception all times, we struggled calling from the room.Price per room is on higher side.

Managed very poorly. Everything would take really long after telling them a few times. It was more like a home stay, although the staff despite being clueless would go out of their way and try their best to make us comfortable. They were just all very new though. There also was an odd smell throughout the hotel.

Amazing and friendly staff. They ensured that we were comfortable and looked after well. The property itself is in a quite area and maintained very well.

The overall experience was fair. Though there was hardly any guest apart from us which was a bit weird. However the rooms were spacious and clean. The overall heritage style decor was pleasant. I felt it was a bit scary & spooky due to no other guest but doable. Though the price is a bit higher. Could have been lower.

Food was super expensive. 130 rs for a cup of tea and 100 rs for a glass of milk for my kid was ultra expensive. I can go on and on. I have paid 280 rs for a normal sandwich, Rs. 560 rs for approx 250 ml veg curry, 250 rs for 100 gm plain boiled rice. Not a fair deal. In the whole I had to spend more than 7000 a day only on food as Section 144 was imposed the day I had arrived in Udaipur and we couldn't go out. The prices spoiled the whole experience and I didn't really enjoyed spending more than 10k during a 2 night stay.
