Hotel Devraj Niwas on Lake Pichola Udaipur

Quality of food in the natural view restaurant was very bad, the supplied food was not properly cooked and one day old. I informed to the manager but no one listen, they don't care about your satisfaction they just want money that's it. Room service was very poor, everyday you have to inform the housekeeper to do housekeeping also no one provided the toiletries.

Patio with view of lake is very beautiful. Location is good if you want to be in old city. Beds are comfortable and lots of hot water in shower.

Sounds insulation in the room was not the best - we could hear music from the restaurant upstairs and guests in the hallway. Walls in the room were scuffed up and needed new paint, but the floral detailing was nice.

Beautiful place in the heart of Udaipur, with amazing views from the room and the rooftop terrace. Big spacious room with seating in front of the big windows. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location to explore Udaipur.

Some smells in the bathroom, indoor pool not really accessible.

The view from the corner room was exceptional. The entire room was spacious! Loved the window seats - one for sunrise, another for sunset! Room faces the setting sun, perfect in the colder seasons. The bed was comfortably firm. Both fan and AC were available in the room. There is plenty of lighting. Bottled water provided for guests. The food at the rooftop restaurant was definitely a highlight, big portions for price paid with fantastic views at all times of the day. Staff service was quick and friendly!

Just a point that a rooftop restaurant opposite the room allows the customers to look into your room but nothing pulling the curtains can't fix. There was no wardrobe in the room but that's not a huge issue either - hangars and door hooks were available.

Amazing location and has a nice vintage vibe. Close to Gangaur Ghat and the artisan market. Absolutely loved the vibe of the location. It's an old building and very clean. Good management and would highly recommend if your looking for a budget friendly place.

They charged us breakfast without telling them we will take it. Wifi in room didn’t worked properly. They also didn’t allowed us to pay by card.

The restaurant view is really very good. It is as good as shown in the pics. One can also enjoy restaurant without taking hotel stay. The location is also very good as city palace is at a walking distance. Bike on rent are also available near by.

The room size is quit small and not suitable for a family stay.

Hotel location is prefect, restaurant is having magnificent views Same as given in photo. All the Staffs are very well behaved. Overall good experience.

Except the first night, the rest two nights were good. First night they have provided an under prepared room which does not have basic amenities for which they have apologised to us and next day they have shifted us to a much better room. So overall experience is good.

the location of hotel is it’s best aspect. the view from the top is amazing. you can clearly see the taj hotel in the middle of the lake and hills are visible far away. Night view is spectacular. Best value for money. Walkable distance to jagdish temple and city palace (top 2 places to see in Udaipur). Market starts from right outside the hotel. Great market to shop for souvenirs.

Property is not accessible by car, you can reach it only by autos. it makes sense given the small streets. Blankets looked kind of dirty but they replaced on request.

Too expensive - not worth the money. There was not even a cupboard in the room. While booking, it was mentioned that the room has a cupboard, hair dryer etc., but no such amenities were provided. Had booked a premium room but it was utterly disappointing.The food was exceptionally bad, and there was no room service.

The room offered a great view. The staff was very warm and friendly. The hotel is in a prime location, with just walking distance to major tourist attractions. The room was clean with good facilities.

The food could have been better for the price they were charging, the bathroom used to stink up a bit after taking a bath. The room also smelled of dampness.

The helper Naren was very kind and also the owner did his best to give us another room, and was polite but he should change many things in the hotel rooms ..

The rooms were very dirty and very less hygiene maintained.The bathroom was having areas of the windows where someone can see the other person inside from a level above. This is not good for ladies with you. One of the room we stayed was next to steps where there was no curtains at glass windows ...and we could get outside light whole night and unable to sleep.All rooms are with twin beds only which are joint and they never mentioned this anywhere .. If you have car then again there will be a big issue for parking .. so this is better if u are on bike ..The bedsheets of the room and towels provided was also not clean ..
