The location and the view. Nice new interior.

The service is very lacking and even quite disrespectful to people of non European looking.

What a haven of serenity amidst the madness of the Old City. We lived everything about Manuscript and the food was among the best we had in the area.Loved the creativity in the menu. The rooms were very comfortable. And the staff was amazing!Definitely a great spot to retreat to when in Udaipur old city.

Finishings of room was incomplete exposed concrete, lack of sunlight and room given to us was not one of the rooms within the lovely courtyard

The same staff were working here when I stayed at the hotel a year after my first stay. It was lovely to see them again! Breakfast is always delicious. There are ample places to enjoy a quiet spot with gorgeous city views from their rooftop or inner courtyard. The beds are large and comfy. And it's super walkable to the sites and shops near the lake.

The hotel was lovely. It is in a busy location, 5 minutes from the City Palace, but quiet when inside. No street noise. Lovely surroundings, pool area great. Staff very good. The highlight was the rooftop restauarnt which was a lovely spot and also delicious food, cool music created a relaxing vibe. Candle lit.

Nothing. Or maybe the pillows could have been softer ... but the bed was big and comfortable.

Nice staff, cute room and courtyard. Breakfast was nice. There was a guy playing the flute in the morning which added to the atmosphere.

The water didn’t escape from the shower, resulted in a bit of flooding. The water also smelled a bit - might need better filtering.

Good location close to city palace (but know this is a hectic area of town). You can walk around the old town from the hotel. The property is nicely set back from the road and very serene. The rooms are wonderful and the breakfast is very tasty. Room service was also good. They did a wonderful job of making our honeymoon feel very special!

Some of the rooms on the 3rd floor are below the restaurant and it can be a bit noisy. We've asked he reception to move us to the 2rd floor, which are a lot quieter.

Location, large rooms, views from the terrace, and in house restaurant with many food choices.

Restaurant music. It was loud and western. I suggest soft Rajasthani music to keep the tradition.

Beautiful hotel. Exceptional staff. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. We will definitely go back again. Special mention to Nandu and Tulsi in the restaurant. Superb service from both. The hotel is very clean, spacious comfortable rooms. The hotel is situated very close to am y of the tourist attractions. We just loved it and highly recommend it.

Bed sheets / duvet felt strange

Location was super very close to Jagdish Temple and Lake Pichola all waking distance and of course the Palace all less than 10 mins walking...

There is no mention that you need to climb up 44 flight of steps to reach the hotel reception... Coming up and down is quite a task...Also the pool is much smaller then the image represents and was dirty.

New property with wonderful style and furnishings. Room was big and comfortable bed and great shower. The pool was an added bonus. Staff were very welcoming.

Accessibility might be an issue for some people up the stairway to the property.

Great setting in a modern take on a haveli with beautiful courtyard and a rooftop pool. Rooms were large, with good bathroom/storage. Decent location behind the city palace (great view!) with most sights within walking distance (though palace blocks view of the lake). Staff were very friendly

The hotel is in the old town with views over the Palace from the roof. There is a small but refreshing pool and lovely courtyard. It looks like on the pictures

It is in old town but you can’t really walk on those streets. Easy to get rickshaw

A friendly hotel, with interesting themes. Our room was comfortable with a nice bathroom. Location was close to the heart of town.

The pool was small and stark with nowhere to hide from 40 degree heat. Restaurant was basic but staff attentive.and obliging.

The location is amazing. Hotel looks great. Room lovely and clean. Felt very safe. Comfortable.

There is only one restaurant, the other which is also the bar seems to be permanently closed. There’s no alcohol at all at the hotel and also nowhere to buy any kind of drinks or food outside of restaurant hours. There are musicians sometimes which is lovely, but it was very loud in my room from early in the morning as the guy playing the flute was as right by my door! The music at night was loud too from the bar, which is weird as it was closed!
