Lake Pichola Hotel

Gorgeous heritage hotel with wonderful lakeside views and great breakfast and rooftop restaurant. Very nice and attentive staff. This hotel is a winner!

The bathrooms were surface clean but needed deep cleaning at the edges and in the corners.

Only location

It smells like pothole leakages, rooms are very old with no new amenities and appliances.

Exceptional staff. Each and everyone was very polite and helpful. Best view of the lake. Great breakfast service

Bath tub definitely needs to be upgraded. There is a crack in the base and mud would come up when you stand in the tub

Beautiful hotel with amazing lake shore views. Lovely hospitable staff. The restaurant (independent from the hotel) above the hotel named UPRE has delicious food for reasonable prices and is famous in Udaipur.

We put a DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door but the maid still came in and cleaned our room which was annoying. The food at the hotel's breakfast was not good and the menu/cook should be improved.

We had a nice time. The views are great. It’s a bit old fashioned.

The notice at night as there is a roof top bar near by and we could hear the music until late at night

On the lake front with the great view of City palace. Hotel was clean, staffs were friendly and food was good.

Adjacent roads are narrow. Several stray dogs are on the road. Loud music vibrates from different adjacent properties are uncomfortable.

#1 Location , hospitality. Heritage hotel on the lake.

Location Location Location

Lake view rooms are Average with below average Bathrooms. Linen quality poor UPRE - ambience and location was perfect ! To my surprise the food was below average - had to return 2 dishes

The suite was very spacious with great views and facilities. The support staff was good and pick up and drop facility is there to the nearest main road which is an advantage, the roof top hotels offers a stunning view

The location and the service are very good. Breakfast by the pool is a beautiful experience. The ambiance of the rooms are very good. Staff is very helpful. Live music during breakfast and dinner is a bonus.

More breakfast options would be good.

Room no 119 and 120 needs to renovated..Rooms are uncleaned.Lake facing rooms are lovely and spacious.Staff is very courteous and polite.Food is very good. There should be one live counter for dosa in breakfast.

Location is absolutely amazing- hacking lake front balcony was absolutely stunning!!

The is little updated and needs some work

Location. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. View from our suite. Swing in the room

The furniture and bathroom are a little dated.

The view is amazing and the staff are friendly and attentive.

The room was mostly clean except the windows which were covered with fingerprints and someone's initials for flare. The bed was very very firm, uncomfortably so. The bathroom was dusty and moldy. I refused to shower but my husband is braver. As a result of his bravery he found hair under the shower mat. The sink was moldy and dirty, I cleaned before I used it. The hair dryer evidenced years of uncleaned dirt, dust had collected around the toilet roll dispenser. I didn't dare touch the tops of tall furniture. The rug in the room was dirty and stained

only lake view rooms are good

The breakfast was very disappointing, and there were no additional facilities provided. There was no swimming pool or other amenities to enjoy. Apart from the lake view from the room, nothing else stood out as good.

Location

Overall experience was average...staff was not courteous ....rooms were okay with dampness. And the food was also okay not worth the price I would say.

It is little inside where cabs cannot go in the day . or else everything was nice and excellent rooms with lake view.

Pleasant room and bathroom. Breakfast in large lounge room. Beautiful seating outside and restaurant pleasant too. Overlooking lake, stunning views. Loved staircase leading outside of the hotel to go downstairs, beautiful feature.

Would have benefitted from a pool. Very hot and would have been an asset.

Location is great, the owner is a really sweet & humble person. The breakfast spread was good

There were used plates outside our room which were left by the previous guests. We stayed there for 2 nights & 3 days. The hotel staff visited there twice or thrice but none of them bothered to clean those plates

Picturesque location inside the hotel premises, by the lake and everything outside especially the major attractions were nearby to the hotel.

Nothing as such, room amenities can be more improved.
