The Grand Uddhav - A Boutique Hotel

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel,The property itself was fine, but the staff attempted to take advantage of us. Despite checking out at 12:00 PM as per the standard policy, they fraudulently charged us for an additional half-day—completely unacceptable and unethical.To make matters worse, at checkout, they tried to overcharge us by demanding a different rate than what we had originally booked through Booking.com. This is nothing short of a scam, and it is shocking that a property listed on your platform engages in such dishonest practices.I demand an immediate investigation into this matter. This hotel should not be allowed to manipulate guests and overcharge them at will. If this issue is not resolved, I will escalate my complaint further and leave a detailed public review warning others about this hotel’s deceptive behavior.

Good location in city area. Staff were very cooperative. They specially arranged sandwiches & tea/coffee very early on our departure date, which was out of the way for anyone.

Provided Early checkin

AC was not working properly. Other Facilities like Toiletries and Electric kettle were not provided at the checkin time need to call reception for these things.

Meals were good and a variety. Hotel is well located and close to tourist attractions.

Washrooms need to be screened off between shower and toilet. Entire floor gets wet .

The quadruple room was sufficient for a family of 4. Location being in old city was great as all modes of communication are available right at the doorstep. Price is reasonable w.r.t. some other overpriced budget hotels of the old city.

None as such. However, we stayed mostly outdoors, sightseeing in Udaipur, and took lunch and dinner in some good rooftop restaurants.

Hotel owner told me that you haven’t pre payment so your booking is cancelled. According to booking.com I have to pay at

Location of property is close to main circle and udaipur railway station. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Special mention to Mr.Lokesh.Good thing is if you arrive early there's early check-in option at very nominal cost. Value for money.

Breakfast options could be better.

A good location. Close to attractions. The room was nice and quiet and clean. Staff was friendly. Mr Lokesh the manager was very polite and attentive. We’ll definitely be back.

Central location. Manager and staff were very accommodating. Great value overall.

Room had no view but given the price, it was acceptable.

Cleanliness

Rooms size was small. I think hotel is keeping fake reviews on Google. Rooms are different from pics shared. Lot of disturbance from near by rooms. Hotel location is not nice. Rooms cost is far expensive as compare to what they provide.

The hotel is super clean and comfy. We felt so happy to stay at this hotel and the staffs are all so helpful and friendly

Very clean and nice property situated at a very approachable location. Kind staff. Food is good and service provided by all the staff members is appreciable. Recommended for anyone who is looking for an affordable place with all the basic amenities.

Rooms are spotless, beds are comfortable, staff is extremely helpful. Water in the shower is hot.In my case, I had a medical emergency upon arrival at 1am. I explained my situation to Lokesh, the receptionist, and he quickly searched for an appropriate hospital nearby and used his own vehicle to drive me there in the middle of the night. He helped me with paperwork at the hospital and after my treatment he brought me back to the hotel.I was in a tough situation but luckily the staff was so attentive to me which cannot be taken for granted.

New construction so clean

No kitchen.. no in-house ironing facility, no water coffee maker in room..

Foyer and customer service

Bedsheets need to be more clean. Tourists need clean sleep place and great hot properly working shower.

We stayed at property by booking through booking.com but they cancelled my stay after check out.This is very much falsified.Like cheating customer.Cleaning ness is very poorNo any room amenities available.Very bad experience.

Property is very near to railway station and city palace is also nearby.

Although it was winters but no drinking water was provided. When asked they gave us water but also advised that we can ourselves take from water filter provided near reception. Don’t know how hospitable that is ?
