Panna Vilas - A Lake Facing Boutique Hotel

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and all the staff and customer service exceeded our expectations. We ate at the restaurant upstairs and all the servers , especially Babu Lal and the other servers (we didn’t get their names) were outstanding. The food was delicious , too!

I couldn’t get the hot water heater switch right. You absolutely HAVE to label the water heater; I had to take cold showers three nights in a row because I couldn’t figure out which one heated the water for a long time.Also, the water didn’t get hot until the end of my shower no matter how long I waited. I ended up wasting a lot of water, which made me very upset.Lastly, the second night, my bathroom smelled like a sewer. :-( They fixed it the next day when I notified them of the problem, but it shouldn’t have happened at all.

Location is opposite to Fateh Sagar. Roof top restaurant with live band was excellent.

The bathroom was stinking. When requested for change of room, the staff expressed helplessness citing non availability. Being non refundable booking,we were left with no choice. Paid Rs 14300 for 2 days for a room that was at best average.

It’s a beautiful hotel and the location is very accessible. Loved the rooftop view and the food from the restaurant was really yummy! The staff is very good too! Cleanliness of the hotel premises as well as the rooms was good too.

Location is great. Interior Aesthetics are quite good too. Lake view is pleasant. It's close to main city probably like 10 mins far.

Staff can be bit more sweet. Not that they were bad.

I booked a deluxe room through. Booking.com website claims that deluxe rooms has garden view. But actual view from my room was philthy. You can see only broken commode et from your window. At the time of checking in, hotel has few rooms which has garden view but hotel always allot room with the poor /philthy view rooms first or to those who booked it online. Good rooms are alloted to customer who book through hotel

It’s an excellent property with the most hospitable staff at the front desk, concierge team and room service The property is ideally located facing Lake Fatehsagar, special mention of the initiate to employ the physically challenged people in the hotel staff… the restaurant is located in the terrace giving an uninterrupted 180 degree view of the Lake… to sum it up … it’s an excellent property to enjoy Udaipur ???❤️???

Lift is missing

The hotel is located right next to Fatehpur Sagar Lake, Which already puts this hotel above a lot of the others in the city center, The property showed me 3 available rooms for the category is booked, 2 on the ground floor and one on the 1st floor, I decided to go with the one on the 1st floor as the view from up there is impeccable.The room and the premises were totally super duper CLEANNNN! The staff was very hospitable and friendly, Cherry on the top? They have a really cute dog on the premises and they also employ physically challenged people.Overall a worth it stay!

The food in their rooftop restaurant was MID at best! We went there once for lunch, where we ordered 4 things out of them only the "Crispy Corn" were nice, rest were almost bland. All the pizza tasted was of Black Pepper and that's it.Also the property does not have a pool.

The location and décor of the place was really good.

We booked a "lake-facing king room" months in advance and paid extra for it, but upon arrival, the reception told us the room was "subject to availability" and already occupied. We were given a different room for the first night and moved to the correct one on day two—only to barely enjoy it due to an early flight. The reception staff was indifferent and unhelpful, acting like they didn’t care at all. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel of this price and reputation. I expect better from a place that charges extra for specific rooms.

Location is excellent as it is directly opposite Fatehsagar lake. Rooms are lovely. The rooftop restaurant and bar are excellent. The staff is very friendly.

There are no lifts to go upstairs.

It should advertise as road facing instead of lake facing.

Rooms were almost on road. Too much commotion.

The hotel had a great and accommodating staff. The location across the water was pretty.

The mattress was very uncomfortable. Most importantly, there was no hot water for us to take a shower with, the hotel gave us another room for showering purposes, but that room didn't have hot water either. They really tried to fix the issue, but they couldn't fix the problem, therefore, we ended up with no hot water.

Location. Excellent location. Right on beautiful Fatehsagar Lake. Excellent view from the rooftop restaurant.

Service. Restaurant and hotel service was poor. Front office staff was inefficient and upfront. There was no hot water, only lukewarm water for shower. Avoid the hotel in winter months.

The room fell short of expectations and certainly didn't justify the price. The bed sheets and pillows were noticeably dirty. The food was just average and unnecessarily overpriced.

Poor WiFi and no lift

Beautiful location right across Fateh Sagar lake. Our rooms and balconies had a wonderful lake view. The rooms were very comfortable , clean and beautifully decorated. The entire villa is beautifully decorated. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The roof top restaurant has a wonderful view. Good was very good. My parents needed jain food and the restaurant made fresh breakfast for them each morning as per their request. We had two rooms booked for a family of 6. Our rooms were right across each other across a beautiful hall. It was cold and they gave us room heaters right away. Pictures don’t do it justice.
