This resort can truly be difficult to surpass. The quality of the accommodations including cleanliness, attentive staff who were genuinely warm and welcoming and the food service can not be commended enough.

Everything was exceptional here. Excellent location, Lovely food ,Very courteous staff. They have arranged a Kite flying function on the occasion of Makar Sankranti which was enjoyed by all the guests.

We had stayed in Palace double room whose washroom is still fitted with old fashion bath tub with inconvenient positioning of overhead shower.

Not one thing. The staff are rude. They change the reservation terms at will. Charge you for everything.

Everything about Leela Palace was spectacular from the moment we entered.The grounds are beautiful, the rooms beautifully appointed.The best was the staff.Every one was amazing!

Really nothing

Meeting point was at Dudh Talai, we handed our car over to the officer who welcome us and we reached the palace by boat. We were greeted with music, accompanied by local musicians. It was lovely when, after getting off the boat, the palace gate opened and rose petals fell on our heads from above. Check-in was completed in our room along with a complimentary watermelon juice. We stayed in room 303. We really liked the interior decoration and cleanliness of our room. The view from our balcony was also incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The cake in the room, representing the year 2026, and the gift box containing whiskey and two glasses were very thoughtful presents. We had lunch from the buffet, the local dishes were delicious. It was a lot of fun to participate in the henna, pottery, and wooden bracelet making workshops in the garden between 4 and 6 in the afternoon. We enjoyed a 15-minute foot massage at the spa area. That day we attended the New Year's Eve gala dinner; the program started at 8 with local dance performances and continued with live music. Our table was in a very nice location, right in front of the stage. All the dishes were very varied, carefully prepared, and incredibly delicious; congratulations to the chefs. We celebrated the new year with dancing to a live DJ performance. The next morning, we thoroughly enjoyed our buffet breakfast with a wide variety of options. We got our coffees and went for a walk in the garden, then relaxed a bit around the pool. We were seen off with music playing at the check-out, and we reached the car parking area by boat.

During breakfast time, the dismantling of the outdoor ground decorations where the gala dinner was being held was underway; it would have been better to do this after breakfast. The staff's overall approach was very pleasant; it would only be helpful if a few people spoke more quietly when conversing with guests.

Food and service form the dining staff was the only pleasant part of the stay at Leela. Restaurant Manager (Ravi) was very professional and made sure every one in the group were accommodated based on their individual needs.

It’s on the water so got a lot of mosquito bites when outside

The hotel room and the service we received was the best in the world to date! From the welcome to the departure, we were well taken care of. Shoutout to Ms.Jajo, she truly helped make our experience so memorable and special, and catered to very specific requests. The views are splendid, and so are the rooms. Literally any amenity you could think of, was available in the room.

There was constant activity of setting up cables and audio equipment of sorts in the guava garden, and we felt a slight lack of privacy due to this. Lot of non-hotel guests were present on the premises during our stay.

The Leela service is simply fabulous. The rooms are really well kept and clean considering the age of the property.

The buffet spread for the dinner is not at par with what you would expect of hotel of this calibre. We had a room with plunge pool, however the water filtration system wasn't working, therefore there were insects in the pool thereby rendering it useless. The staff cleaned it upon request but within an hour there were bugs again.

Our stay at The Leela Palace Udaipur was the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. The lakeside location, stunning architecture, and above all the impeccable service make it truly unique. Everything was exactly as expected, and in many ways, far beyond my expectations.What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I encountered was professional, respectful, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I genuinely felt cared for in a way that’s rare, even among luxury hotels.A very special thank you goes to our hostess, she went above and beyond the day we stayed there since my parents where celebrating their 40 weeding anniversary. She was able to do for us an amazing gesture that my family and I will never forget! I would like for her to see this message hopefully and know that we tried to look for her before leaving to thank her and give her something but unfortunately she was off the morning we left and couldn’t say our thank you’s and our good bye’s. I pray that people like you are blessed your whole life. Thank you again for making the difference for us to choice you guys again when we visit.Also, the housekeeper assigned to my room. He is hands down the best housekeeper I’ve ever encountered — trustworthy, meticulous, and extremely kind. Their attention to detail and dedication to excellence were truly impressive, and they made my stay all the more enjoyable.This hotel is in the middle of all attractions and what more can you ask than to have the Lake Pichola in front of you. The boat rides to the port entrance where they pick you up is enough to enjoy those rides on the Lake Pichola.

The location, the entire staff from housekeeping, to restaurant, to reception staff, even the boat drivers all were so genuine in their care and hospitality. A special shout out to Sanjay from the Restaurant for all his hospitality and to Tejveer Rathore too. Leela retains an old world charm in the culture of its people. Boat rides available anytime to enter and exit the hotel on the beautiful and placid lake waters . This place is simply wonderful to unwind ,relax and be pampered.

There wasn't anything to dislike here .All small issues were responded to immediately and satisfactory.

The staff was really good . It was our Anniversary and their staff did good decoration in our room and also the Cake was really yummy. Thanks to Yash, Ronak and Govind. All the staff was very happy and they always had a nice smile. Thanks a lot again and we will see you soon.

Liking it is an understatement. I LOVED it! From the architecture, the interiors, the gardens, the food, the attentive service , to the genuinely friendly personnel were a 11 out of 10!!

Property....it's Location...Jetty facility...all is awesome at The Leela Palace, Udaipur

The worst experience of staff team at Lobby / reception at a 5Star property.After requesting & waiting for more than 30mins during checkout, we requested for the essence gift hamper which was being provided to foreigners.... Mr. Shashi and others Staffs there... it seems only foreigner entertainment was priority and Indians on second scale as they told to wait...but when we saw that they were intentionally delaying made us feel extremely disgusting and spoiled the whole STAY.

Amazing hospitality! They took amazing care of us and the hotel and its interiors are quite beautiful!

Had food poisoning after eating at their Sheesh Mahal restaurant :( but they were kind enough to waive off the bill. But it was pretty bad suffered for 2 days straight.
