Hotel Chunda Palace

Rooftop restaurant has amazing views and delicious food. The excessive decoration is charming.

The room was a bit dusty.

Polite staff. Beautiful rooms. Great amenities. Comfortable stay. However,The staff needs training in attending guests during breakfast. Tables in the back are never set and need multiple reminders for set up and food order.

Feeling like a Maharaja. Wonderful place with stuning decoration. Nice pool; roof top restaurant. Try breakfast outside.Opside is a nice shop selling fantastic textiles.

Location is good - easy accessibility to local transport (cab/autos). Rooms are big and clean - beds can be more comfortable. However, outside view from rooms is a disappointment - you ether see the parking lot or trees! Pichola lake is only visible from the restaurant floor or terrace.

Rooms lack view and sunlight - Hotel corridors also don't have ample natural light.

We had a lovely stay with our family in December. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was great and the property is stunning. The rooftop dinner was so scenic however the food could have been better! Overall a wonderful stay!

The food was cold and not flavorful.

Their staff was amazing. Chuni laal ji was icing in the cake as a breakfast attendant. Their chefs made all specialty items we requested and food was to die for throughout the stay. Dinner staff was fantastic as well. Their servers were on spot. Room services and house keeping was amazing as well

No garden or much public spaces

Very spacious room. Nice rooftop restaurant. Also a little gym for a fanatic like me with free weights. Pretty nice breakfast.

The Wifi sucked. I ahd to get it restarted every morning.

It was a very bad experience. The wifi did not work and even after complaining they did not do anything about it. There was some construction going on so there was a lot of disturbance too. Our bathroom door did not close and the main door did not lock. While having dinner on the rooftop restaurant which was shifted indoor had a huge honeybee that was constantly disturbing and it ended up being in our biryani. So all in all a very bad experience. The property in itself is very nice n aesthetic but I think the management needs to be better

Amazing property. Staff was so friendly and helpful. At the restaurant every staff was super hospitable. Arpita, Shraboni, Ishita, Chunni ji, Varsha and everyone thanks for making our stay memorable.

Everything was good. Ambience was very nice. Staff was also very good, supportive and manageable staff. Food was also very good. Value for money. It was my daughter's birthday so I decorated the room

Breakfast, location, hospitality is good. Mr Chunnilal in the restaurant was exceptional and kind. Welcome drink is excellent. Rooftop is very good for dinner. Room upgrade was pleasant surprise.

The candle light dinner in the rooftop has candles that is too bright to eyes and the side of candle jars should be covered from the sides (all around) using sheet or cloth or some paint so that light comes from top or bottom of the jar (source) for a pleasant experience without eye irritation.

The rooftop restaurant and dining room restaurant was fantastic. The staff were excellent and exceptionally helpful.

There is nothing about Chunda Palace that is not likeable! The room was more spacious than I had expected. It was beautifully decorated Rajasthani style with paintings and relief without being gaudy. The staff were prompt and internet wifi was good. The location is excellent and the view from the restaurant was mind-blowing! The breakfast spread was adequate and food was very good!The staff was full of advice on where to go and how to avoid getting fleeced. We saved a lot of money following that advice!

I really cant think of anything I disliked.

The entire experience at the property was exceptional. The service by the staff was extremely efficient and the requests were fulfilled immediately. A special mention to the following staff members - Rasik Khan, Chunni Lal and Anushka. To run a property as well as they are without the association of a hotel brand is remarkable.

It will be great if branded and recognised toiletries are offered for use.

The atmosphere of an old palace

The room was a it cold (hard to heat such a space with a small air blower). The bathroom is in need of some work . The place is a bit pricy and a little bit far from the old city. Breakfast simple.

Beautifully decorated and ornate hotel. The bedroom was uniquely decorated and we enjoyed dinner on the roof and the lovely pool. The staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We stayed an extra night than planned as we felt so comfortable smd looked after.

Really tiny point ...hairdryer in room not substantial for people with longer hair.

Power cuts. Uncomfortable mattress. Terrible dent in it not at all conducive to a good night's sleep..The roof top restaurants too dark cannot see menu or food. Needs more lighting.Staff at breakfast often on their phones.More European foods please!Beautiful lounge area but no information whatsoever about the building and previous owners/inhabitants...pictures but no information...

The staff were very courteous and the room was fantastic. Big size, comfy bed, huge bathroom. The rooftop has Lovely views over lake pichola. Definitely recommended

Windows cannot be opened

Breakfast is best so many options and staff are very helpful we were very impressed also restaurant on the top view is very beautiful and location we didn’t walk much can’t tell! Overall we love this place.
