Trident, Udaipur

Everything was amazing. The room was excellent, the facilities were outstanding. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. There is a range of activities on the grounds. Unfortunately we did not stay long enough to try everything. I tried the spa and it was one of the best spa experiences I have had so far.

My only regret is not having stayed longer.

Old run down property. Rooms are very small. It’s an ok property but no where close to 5 stars.

Very attentive staff. Daughter fell ill / the staff was supportive got a localDoctor at 1.00 am. Extremely grateful

The staff were friendly, efficient, and made our stay smooth and pleasant.

The location was a bit far from the center, and getting an Uber was often difficult.

This hotel imo is the best value for money hotel in all of Udaipur.The staff was so kind and accommodating to all of our requests,made it all easygoing.The property is amazing n on a prime location.Special shoutout to Prakash who drove us in the boat.

Hard to pick but the cab services provided were quite overpar the normal prices,I get paying a premium for the convenience of a hotel cab but the prices were literally 3-4 times the normal

Fantastic property with great hospitality. Breakfast and dinner was very good. The staff was really welcoming and helpful. The hotel has beautiful lawns and landscaping. It is located next to lake pichola. Good value for money

Great pool, gym and food.

Before our stay we corresponded with the hotel several times as we were not sure we would be able to come due to my husband’s father being very poorly. The staff were so kind and understanding. This hotel has a great location on the lakeside away from the town centre but from the boat jetty we had an amazing sunrise view of the city palace. Sunset boat trip for just the two of us was well worth the money. Sunset point in the spacious grounds was also wonderful. Food was great and all staff very friendly. We enjoyed using the gym and then having a swim. We booked the free individual yoga sessions in the morning. Vish the yoga and sports instructor was so good at personalising the yoga. My husband cycles a lot and is quite inflexible. Vish gave him some exercises that will help him and also helped me have a go at some yoga poses that I have never quite mastered.

Best hotel in Udaipur! The staff were very kind and hospitable, food exceptionally tasty.

Great, peaceful location. Staff’s very welcoming and attentive. Great drinks at the bar! Rooms are a quite tight, a little bit more space would be fantastic. Breakfast variety can be improved too.

good location. they arranged a boat ride on the lake (extra cost). facility to cycle although I did not have time to try. they offered free henna sessions and there was also a local man making bracelets live, with opportunity to buy some.

few options at breakfast and they served the same food every day. quality of hotel cars was disappointing given it's meant to be a 5 start hotel. I had uber cars that were better.

Staff were friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Food was very good and good variety. Chefs were willing to make something else if their buffet didn't suit.

Brief stay at Trident Udaipur was excellent. The staff were very courteous and prompt in their responses. The breakfast had a huge spread with wide variety..enjoyed it! Looking forward to my next visit there..

Hospitality was superb. Everything was well organised and very prompt solutions for any issue . Would like to mention some exceptional staff ie Sushant, Shalini and Pravin from housekeeping. Kaajal,Divya and Aarish from F & B ( restaurant) and excellent check in by Amit and Sony at the front desk.

Dinner buffet could have been better with more variety for the price

Excellent property right on the lake! Stepping out of the room and walking around the facility was a great experience. The food was top-tier. I did not use the pool, but it looked great. My kid enjoyed the jungle gym, the play yard on the property, and the clean walking paths. The food and liquor options were terrific. The room was clean and modern, with a great garden view. The staff were friendly, and the cart service was invaluable.

I will preface this con with the fact that I am someone who likes to walk into a hotel, show my ID, and be given a room key. I also had just completed an 8-hour drive with a 20-month-old baby. I do not need to be given a sales pitch after purchasing rooms at your hotel. The staff, though friendly, made the check-in process much longer than required by having me wait and talk to three different attendants to go over every little detail of the property. I requested the key so my family and I could unwind, but they outright refused to do so and mandated they "show us" to our room, which was honestly annoying. If I ask to be given my room key and left alone, I do not want a whole dog and pony show. This was not the case as they refused to provide me with a key until they escorted me around everywhere, which made the regular check-in process of 30 seconds take almost 30 minutes. It nearly felt like a sales pitch for something I had already bought. I just felt that, as a paying customer, I asked to be left alone; I expected to be left alone.
