Rooms could have made little more luxurious

The fact that it is a palace and you?re treated like a king. Very clean. Staff is amazing. Breakfast buffet is to die for.

Breakfast was good & plenty of options were available . Lot of fresh fruit & hot items on the menu. Location is central & convenient , at the same tome quite , atmosphere is relaxing . The view form the hotel is excellent . We have spent lot of time sitting in the garden , observing Fatehsagar lake . I have visited Udaipur many times & in my opinion this is best location . Fatehsagar lake is just adjacent to Hotel

The location of the property is good. Its a lovely heritage building.

The interior of the building is very dated. The hotel appeared to have a lot of new and young staff who were completely clueless on many aspects. Dining options are limited. Overall, this property could be so much better.

The property was definitely not a 5 star property maybe 2 star at best. The room was very dirty with the vents full of dirt and dust. The washrooms where very tiny and the shower head faced right at the door so you had to stand in the shower with cold water as it headed up as the shower head did not move and was full of lime scale. The fridge did not work either. The breakfast was included so we went and the tables were filthy with dirty napkins and place mats. The door window had hand prints on them for the 2 days we were there no one cleans anything. My husband found a hair in the Chana masala for breakfast. Also the hotel has pigeons inside that poop everywhere. Spare yourself and do not book at this hotel at all.

Excellent breakfast, beautiful grounds, excellent music in the evenings.

We were quite disappointed in our stay as the staff had a very cavalier attitude. Either they did not know or did not follow-up that led to disappointments or unnecessary discussions with managers. No one needs this on a vacation. Several examples - 1) we requested rooms on a higher floor. Via email, even early in the check in day when dropped the bags. They told us ‘not to worry sir we have it covered’. When we come back to checkin … sorry those rooms are now taken. 2) two separate occasions inconsistencies on two separate lawns if food or drinks can be ordered or not? Guys just be consistent and train everyone especially the front desk staff’ what the rules are? Or find out.This hotel clearly needs to better train their staff in being responsible and professional.This is listed as a five stars but they have a way to go towards that status!

No lift …. But then its heritage and only two floor so one should be patient .

I liked the reception guys for always being welcoming. The restaurant staffs Neha, ? B? Singh ( I forgot his name) and all others there. Very nice and kind. I appreciate the chefs efforts to provide us with south Indian food. Thank you. The lawn and the view and everything was just awesome. The security and the sit outs all were nice. I would appreciate and thank MR. PRABHAKAR, who was very kind and always warm to any of my requests and personally took care of us, especially my special child. We got the medicines when I fell sick and on checking out he made sure our breakfast was packed and above all, he could communicate in tamil to us and always checked on whether we were comfortable and well. I will be visiting again for another holiday. Disciplined staff with good music and smiling and welcoming reception staffs n their rose drink ?. Everything is authentic, heritage n good. They all were kind with us, and especially Prabhakar was very understanding and always ready to help these two mother and special kid daughter traveller's. We felt very safe and never hesitated to ask for help, roam on the clean roads during late hours because of the safe security. On the whole everyone were like a family making our stay peacefully n relaxing ? ☺️ ? ? ✨️ ?...Will come again.

The view of the Fatehsagar Lake. The food at the restruants were good. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. The staff at Aagan were nice.

The WiFi didn't work well and we often couldn't connect. The room service was slow.....we had to call repeatedly to remind them. The heating at Aagan was poor. They need to focus a bit more on the finer details of hospitality.

the infrastructure, the washroom, lights, everything seemed too old to be functioning. The maintenance and what I got, definitely didn't feel worth 18k a night

Great location. Very Friendly staff. Suraj Singh the manager went out of his way ensure that our stay was made very comfortable.

The property has a fantastic view of the lake. The staff is very cordial and the service is very quick. They offer complimentary kids food which was very convenient to us.

The property is quite big but it falls a bit short on amenities. A kids play area and a swimming pool is missing. Also if the roof terrace is developed into a sitting area it would be really good.

for a hotel of this rating the reception is under staffedforgot give the due reception. some where welcomed and some like me just shuttled ...coz I asked for room to be allocated , despite requesting for an early check in ( no response to it) . I was asked to wait for 20 min !! I reached well after hotel check in time of 2 PM

Bathroom facilities need a massive uplift-Old worn out towels-toilet tap rusted badly-shower was old with little power-shower door was broken

Rooms are uncomfortable. Not properly carpeted. AC functioning is poor. Banquet services are poor.
