Pros +
- Good room, good price, very good location - near Gangaur Ghat and Bagore ki Haveli, the staff is very helpful and the food at restaurant is great.
- An oasis of calm amidst the bustle of Jaipur. Excellent, friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
- The location and basic nice large rooms
Cons -
- The property had pictures of a roof top restaurant but this was not running - only a cafe downstairs. WiFi did not work in the rooms.
- Little bit of attention cleanliness would be better. Had to inform room boy twice to clean room
- The electric setup was a little complicated to figure out (lots of switches, plus a power on/off switch outside the room), but that was nothing that couldn't be sorted out easily.

Location, old haveli type of building, located near most of attraction, lake view from top of building

This was a real find - the old haveli that houses the hotel is an architectural gem, full of atmosphere and relatively comfortable. The staff were friendly and super helpful, even helping me carry my luggage down the street to where I could catch a taxi. The onsite restaurant is fine, and the art store in the building has lots of beautiful things for very fair, hassle free prices. The location is perfect, too - it's steps from the lake at Gangaur Ghat and an easy walk to many of Udaipur's attractions.
The electric setup was a little complicated to figure out (lots of switches, plus a power on/off switch outside the room), but that was nothing that couldn't be sorted out easily.
The location was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was ok. The room was huge and nicely decorated.
We found a dead mouse in the room after arrival.
